Surprisingly, work actually went fine. My crazy boss was actually in a good mood and her crazy demands also went to a minimum except for the fact that she had to ask me to go to the maintenance office and talk to that ex-convict looking maintenance guy to complain about the air-conditioning. Aaaarrgghh.
It’s actually a fun day at the apartment building today. There was a party at 508 (Chie’s place). I was a bit nervous to go to the party since I just moved in but Chie was so persistent that I finally gave in since I didn’t accept her invitation the last time. To my surprise, everyone was so friendly that after 30 minutes of being there, I already keow half of the residents in the building. Ha-ha. I met Chiharu and Changmin with their very cute baby boy. They’ve only been married for a year and she gave birth last month. Changmin told me they plan to have more kids in the future. Cute. Oh, there’s also Utami and Yunho with their 6 adorable kids. Utami told me that Yunho wanted 25 children. Yes! You got it right. 25 children. Can you imagine that? They really love kids that much. Oh well, I don’t think raising so many kids would be a problem for them since they’re financially able to do so. I mean, they live in one of the penthouse of the building! Those two couples were the nicest ones ever. I also met Chie’s boyfriend—Junsu, and they looked so sweet together.
Actually, the highlight of the party was when Junsu proposed to Chie in front of all the people at the party. Of course, Chie said the sweetest “yes” Junsu could ever hear.
Sigh. There were so many couples around. How I wish I also had a guy with me. Hmmm. How long has it been since I went on a date? Let me think. Three months. Three months after the worst date anyone could ever imagine. Ugh. Chie said there was a cute, single and available guy living in the building but I didn’t see him around. Hmmm. I wonder if we could actually “click”. Chie said he lives at 408. Sigh. Why couldn’t he just live next door?
After the party, another rose was waiting at my front door. “Wouldn't be nice to see the morning with the one you love the most. Wouldn't be nice to say goodnight to the one you hold so close to your heart.” That’s my note for tonight. Oh yes. I’d love to have someone to be with me in the morning when I wake up and to have someone to be with me when I fall asleep. Sigh. The only problem is that I can’t find that someone. Would SA (secret admirer) be willing to be that someone? Sigh.

Another busy day at the clinic has finally ended. There were lots of pets coming in and out of the clinic for vaccines and check-ups. Sometimes I wonder how I get through this daily routine. I guess it’s normal to feel this way when you love doing something. Even if you’re so tired, at the end of the day, the exhaustion doesn’t matter as long as you feel a sense of fulfilment.
I noticed Harang has been going out a lot lately. I think he’s doing something fishy with the Han’s dog, Tamako. Lucky dog, having a love life and all. Aish. What am I thinking? Being jealous of a dog’s life. I really should go out more often. Hmmm. How long has it been since I went out on a date? Let me think. Ah! Zero. I can’t believe I’ve never been on a date after the end of a beautiful two-year relationship. Although Chie introduced a lot of girls to me for the past six months, I’ve never went out with any of them.
Aish. I totally forgot the party tonight. I came home so late today it totally slipped out of my mind. Junsu was proposing to Chie tonight. Sigh. I’ll just call tomorrow to greet them congratulations. Anyways, I’m sure Chie said yes. She never said anything about it but I’m sure she’s been waiting for Junsu to propose. I know that cousin of mine. I’m also sure she’s dying to ask Junsu what took him so long to propose. Poor Junsu.
Come to think of it, going to the party would have been a chance to meet the girl at 308. I’m sure Chie invited her. I wonder if she went to the party. But I’m sure that with Chie and Utami’s convincing powers, there’s a 70% chance that she went to the party. Sigh. One chance wasted. Tsk.
