The Next Day(Thursday, 1:30 PM in Jaejoong's room.)
"What should I do?" Jaejoong said. He was lying on his bed, trying to find a solution to the situation he was in. But it was really hard for him to decide which one he should attend to. Going to a party with his girlfriend? Or going to a basketball match he had been looking forward to? Either way, he knew he would regret it. "------, you'll understand right?"
After a while, his phone rang. Distracting him fromh his thoughts. WIth a swift movement, he grabbed his phone and answered it.
"Yes?"
"Jae, it's me."
"Oh, ------." He smiled.
"Thank you. I'm really happy you're going to the party with me."
"------, about that-"
"Let's meet at the cinema."
"Ok. I wanted to talk to you about something. I'll see you there then." After he said that, he hung up on her and sighed.

"Aish, where is she?" Jaejoong mumbled, while looking around to find you.
Then suddenly, you hug him from behind. Which surprises him as he knows you wouldn't do something like this in front of people.
"------, what are you doing?" He asked you, coolly.
You smiled, "How did you know it was me?"
"I just knew." He took a deep breath and tried not to show you that his face was all red.
You finally pulled away from the hug and noticing his red face, laughed. "Jae." You said, and you couldn't stop yourself from pinching his cheeks.
He caught your arms and looked into your eyes, charmingly.
And his phone rang.
He lets go of your arms and quickly answered his phone, "Yeah?"
"It's Yunho. Jaejoong you have to come to practice. Coach wants you here."
"I'll be there." After hanging up on him, he turned to you and touched your shoulder.
"What's wrong?" You asked him, worriedly.
"------. I have to tell you something." He tried to look away, but couldn't.
You smiled, "Yes, what is it?"
"There's a game tonight. I don't think I can make it...to the party."
"Oh." You said, disappointedly.
You must have looked very disappointed, as Jaejoong suddenly patted your head, "Mean girl, you're not going to cry are you?" He laughed.
"How can you laugh?" You pouted, "I really wanted to go..."
He charmingly smiled, "------, I can't go to the game if you get sad. Should I not go?" He asked you, and waited for your answer.
"No! You should go!" You shouted, "I...I'm sorry...actually...I was a bit selfish when I asked you to come to the party with me." You smiled, "I can go by myself. Don't worry."
He was mesmerized by you. He couldn't believe how understanding you were to him. He held your hand, "I have to go now. Mean girl, bye." After he said that, he just went off to somewhere.
"Bye!" You shouted after him. "Yes?" You answered your phone.
"------, happy birthday!" Jonghyun shouted.
"Oh, thanks."
"Your birthday party is tonight, right?"
"Yeah."
"I'm bringing a few of my friends, is that cool?"
"Yeah."
"See ya tonight!"
"Yeah, see you." You saud, and hanged up the phone.
Actually, it was your birthday party that you invited him. You thought he would somehow find out about it. But obviously, he didn't.
"Jae, I really wanted you to come. You don't know it's my birthday?" You said.

7:50 PM
"I know you all can do it! Good luck!" The coach shouted, and turned to Jaejoong. " I have high expectations of you. Don't make me regret it."
"I won't coach."
"Jaejoong, tonight's very important, we have to win." Yoochun said while making sure he was wearing his sports shoes properly.
"I know."
"you sure made a hard decision." Yesung mumbled.
"What did you say?" Jaejoong asked him, when he heard what Yesung said.
"Well, today is ------'s birthday. Oh, so you didn't know?" He said, evilly.
Jaejoong stood up, "(Why didn't she tell me?)" He started walking towards the door when Yoochun stopped him.
"Where are you going?" Yoochun looked worried.
"It's ------'s birthday. Move." Jaejoong tried to push him to the side, but Yoochun was persistent.
"Jaejoong, you love basketball! Heck you even got angry at her for lying to coach about you cheating in a game. Where do you think you're going?"
Jaejoong held his forehead, "I don't know. I just don't want to upset her."
"This is your dream, are you here with us?"
"Dream?" He scoffed, "It's not my dream. It's just something I need."
"What's the difference? You still need to stay. Don't let us down. You can still go to her after the game." Yoochun crossed his arms.
"No, you don't understand. She probably thinks I care more for basketball."
Yoochun looked away, "Look, even though we all knew, we didn't say anything about you two being together. But if she is the cause of you wanting to leave, then just forget about our friendship." He walked past him and sat down next to Kibum.
"I can't leave now."

"Happy birthday!" Kyuhyun hugged you.
"Thanks." You smiled.
Sunny gave you a slice of the cake, "Here."
You took it from her, "Thanks. but where is everyone?"
Siwon sighed, "They're all watching the game."
"Yeah...the game..." You sat next to him.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing." You smiled, "It's just that...I thought this year...something would be different...but it's not."
He caressed your cheek, and it bothered you so you pushed his hand away.
"Oh, sorry." He looked away.
"I have a boyfriend." You blurted out.
"What?" He said, surprised.
"It's new...umm..."
"Who is it??" Kyuhyun who overheard your conversation asked, curiously.
"You probably don't know him. He is from another high school." You lied.
Siwon stood up and went to the kitchen.
"------ah, tell me you lied." Kyuhyun held your hands.
"I'm not lying!" You yelled.
"Then where is he? Huh? Why isn't he here?" He looked jealous.
"He is busy!" You pulled your hands away and ran to your room.
Sunny was in there, waiting to give your gift.
"Here, it's for you." She handed you the gift and smiled.
You immediately opened it but you accidentally dropped it.
It turns out, it was a mirror.
"Umm...Sunny, I'm sorry." You said, while trying to get over the shock of what just happened.
"It's okay."
"Well, I'll just go to the bathroom." She said, and went to the bathroom.
You sat on your bed, "Jae, you're really not coming?"

8:00 PM
"Jaejoong, are you coming?" Yunho asked.
But there was no one in the dressing room.
