You were walking back and fourth trying to decide whether or not you should call Jaejoong. You had promised Sunny you would but something was bothering you and you couldn't gather up the courage to call him. But you had to know why he wasn't even checking up on you.
"(Well, here goes.)" You thought, before dialing Jaejoong's number.
It rang a couple of times, then when you thought he was going to answer it , the voice mail message came in.
"Why isn't he answering? What's going on?" You were starting to get worried about him. What if something had happened to him? What if he was in an accident? You had to ask someone about it. But right when you opened the door, Jaejoong was going to press the doorbell. He was surprised as well, but not as much as you. That look on his face worried you. The uneasy look.
"Jae...where were you? Why didn't you call me?" Your eyes were wide open, as if you just saw a ghost. It was really obvious how worried you were, and you even had a hard time talking. But you didn't know it would get even harder to talk after a couple of minutes.
He scratched the back of his head, and smiled. His smile wasn't the same as before, it was almost forced. "Sorry." He said.
"It's ok, let's go inside and talk-" He suddenly held your hand and made you stay there.
He couldn't look you in the eye.
"------, I have to tell you something." He looked nervous. It worried you.
"Yes?" You innocently smiled, as you knew nothing about it.
"Let's break up." The tone of his voice changed when he said that. It wasn't a sudden decision, he had obviously thought it over.
You dropped your handbag and lowered your head. What he just told you was shocking, something that you thought would never happen, at least not so soon. Of course, you weren't one of those girls who would start crying when they heard something like that. You were a strong girl. For now.
You laughed, "Sure, if that's what you want. Um, I have to go somewhere now. But feel free to stand in my doorway." And as you said that, the only thing you could think of was to get away from there. With big steps, you tried to walk as far as you can and when you were far enough from Jaejoong, you just stopped walking, and just stood there.
"Why? Why did he break up with me?" You were going to send him a text message but you realized that you weren't holding your handbag anymore. "Oh great it must still be there." You had to walk back there, but you were hoping not to see him there.

"Yeah, I did." Jaejoong chuckled, "Jess, I'll see you tomorrow." He hugn up the phone when he noticed you were standing there, looking at him.
You scoffed, "Was that Jessica? You're ex?"
"------." He suddenly got stiff.
"Answer me." You said, angrily.
He crossed his arms, "Yes, it was her. But it's not what you think. It's not because of her that I broke up with you." He tried to defend himself, but you still looked angry.
"Yeah, right. You cheated on me." You pushed him to the side and you were going to opened the door when he caught your arm, and looked deeply into your eyes.
"It's not what you think. Let me explain-" He was going to tell you the real reason, but you just didn't want to listen to him. You thought they were all excuses.
"Let go of me." You pulled your arm away and slapped him on his cheek, "You're a jerk. I hate you." You were really furious. "Ok, fine. We broke up. You can go now." You slammed the door to his face and waited for him to leave.
A couple of hours later, you were holding a big ice cream cup, which was already half empty.
"What's the big deal?" You scoffed, "It's not the first time this has happened to me. I'll get over it over it soon." You threw the cushion to the floor and frowned. "Anyway, I wasn't even in love with him, I just...liked him...a little...too...much..." You were slowly realizing how much you liked him, more than you thought.
Angel------:Yes, you like him. So don't let go of him.
Devil------:No, you will forget him eventually. He cheated on you, it't payback time! You know what to do!
Angel------:But you have to give him a chance to explain himself.
Devil------:He will only lie to you. He doesn't care about your feelings.
"I'm so confused."
