“I want to go somewhere with you.” He reached out to you and waited for you to hold his hand.
For a second there, you just gazed at him, hoping he would never leave you again. Love was both a wonderful and painful thing.
You held his hand and followed him to wherever he was going to.
He covered your eyes with his hands, “I’m sure you’ll like this place.” He whispered to your ear.
You whined, “Just…I can’t see…uncov-.”
“If you do like it, kiss me.” He sexily said, making your face red.
“Yah…Kim Jaejoong!” Just as you yelled, he uncovered your eyes and surprised you. “What are you doing?” You mumbled.
He was just smiling.
You finally decided to look around and at first you couldn’t believe your eyes. The huge room was filled with candy jars containing probably millions of colourful candies. It was so beautiful, and the room had a sweet smell. You liked it.
You couldn’t stop smiling, how much this surprise pleased you.
“Jae...ho-how…” You couldn’t even talk, it made you so happy.
He chuckled, “I bought all these candies for you.” He grabbed one jar and took out a candy from it. “Did you like it?” He asked, staring at the candy.
You excitedly nodded, “Yes!”
He smirked, “Then you remember what I told you before?”
Of course you remembered it but you had no intention on listening to him.
“I don’t have to listen to you.” You thought.
Then you had an idea.
“Alright…close your eyes!” You shouted.
He actually did listen to you and shuts his eyes, waiting for you to kiss him.
You took out another candy from the jar and made it touch his lips. A smile appeared on his face.
You then quickly hid the candy into your pocket and awkwardly smiled at him.
He took a few steps towards you, and you took a few steps back.
He took another step but you tried to avoid standing close to him. He encircled your waist with his arms and didn’t let go.
“Did I do something wrong?” He asked. You could see how disappointed he was. “Is that why you didn’t kiss me?”
You guiltily lowered your head, “It’s just too embarrassing…” You admitted.
“What is?” He raised an eyebrow, surprised at what you said.
“You…standing so close to me…” You blushed.
He tucked your hair behind your ear and looked deeply into your eyes.
Then without you realizing it he leaned over and kissed you.

“Kyuhyun are you ok?” Jonghyun asked. He was worried about Kyuhyun as he was sitting at the same spot he was at yesterday. He wasn’t going out nor eating. “No matter what you do she still likes Jaejoong hyung.” Jonghyun mumbled.
“Shut up.”
“You have to get yourself together.”
“I said, shut up.”

“Is this your house?” You said, exploring every room in his big house.
He nodded.
“So…that room is mine?”
“Yeah.” He replied.
You blushed, “He tasted like sweets.” You thought and giggled.
It caught Jaejoong’s attention.
“What is so funny?” He pouted.
“Nothing.”
It was getting dark so you decided to head back home. He offered a ride home but you refused.

Your place:
“Jin Ho sorry I’m late!” You noticed the empty cup of ramen and realized that he already ate and was in his room. “You should’ve called me…” You mumbled and then went to your room.

The next day:
“Thank you everyone, for joining us today!” Changmin read out loud, “We’re going to introduce a new band to you all! Enjoy!” And as he said that SHINee appeared on the stage, and bowed to everyone.
Jonghyun mouthed the words, “Thank you.”
You brightly smiled and sat down.
Everyone was happily listening to the awesome music and the girls were enjoying the view: D when you noticed a sad looking Kyuhyun standing right outside the school’s building. You were wondering why, why was he sad?

You tapped on his shoulder and surprised him.
“------ah! Y-you scared me…” He looked away.
“Kyuhyun, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“Tell me! You’re my friend!” You yelled.
He caught your arm and fiercely looked into your eyes “That’s the problem! I want to be more than friends with you!”
He was hurting you, but you couldn’t say anything. “My arm…” You thought.
“Why him? Why Jaejoong?” He had a sad look on his face.

Somewhere around there:
“------ is gonna kill me!” Jaejoong said as he glanced at his watch.
He ran all the way from his house as he couldn’t find his car keys.
“How can I lose the damn keys?” He thought.
He heard the two of you, arguing about something.

“I can’t explain it…” You took a deep breath, “I’ve never thought about it…”
“What?” He tightened his grip on your arm.
“It hurts…” You thought.
“How can you like him?! The Jaejoong you hated so much for years?! How??” He yelled.
Suddenly, Jaejoong came out of nowhere and broke apart the two of you.
“What the hell are you doing? Stay away from her.” He muttered.
You tried to assure him, “Jae its ok, we were just talking.”
But he ignored it. He was so angry that he tried hard not to punch him in the face.
“You don’t like her. I don’t believe it.” Khuhyun smirked.
“What?! You-.”
“If you really did, you wouldn’t break up with her in the first place.”
Jaejoong was going to say something but again, failed as his phone rang.
“What? I’m busy.”
You and Kyuhyun just watched him.
His face suddenly became pale, like he received some bad news.
“I see. Do I have to?” Jaejoong asked. “Fine.” He hung up the phone.
You walked up to him and touched his shoulder, “What happened?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“Just tell her! How can you keep secrets from her?”
Kyuhyun yelled, and walked away from there.
“Kyuhyun…” You sighed.
Jaejoong placed his hand on top of yours and weakly smiled.
“He’s right, I have to tell you.”
“Yes, tell me.”
He was unsure whether it would be a good idea to tell it to you or not.
“I…I have to go to England.”
You laughed, and didn’t take it seriously.
“You’re joking right?”
He shook his head, “No.” He said.
“But…for how long?” You tried to look cheerful.
He hesitated, “2…2 years…”

The next day:
Jaejoong decided to have a talk with Kyuhyun. He found out that Kyuhyun was working part time at a café nearby his house.
“Do you have cappucino?”
“Yes it’s written on the menu…” He frowned, noticing the customer was the person he disliked the most, Jaejoong.
“I have to talk to you.”
“Get out, I’m not serving you.” He took the order of another customer.
“Fine. I’ll just say it…I have to go somewhere.”
“So? What do I care?” Kyuhyun rolled his eyes.
“For 2 years…” Jaejoong murmured.
“What?!” Kyuhyun pulled Jaejoong to a back alley and kept on yelling and yelling until Jaejoong decided to say something.
“It has something to do with the Company.” Jaejoong explained, “I’m doing this for ------. I can’t be a useless guy who lives off of his parents’ money.”
Kyuhyun could understand what he was trying to say. He admired him for that.
“I didn’t know you were that serious about her.” He admitted, feeling a little guilty.
Jaejoong silently scoffed, “She is my everything.” He murmured.
“I understand.”
“I need to ask a favour, is it ok?”

Later that night, you invited all your friends to just relax, and chill.
“My Kibum chose to follow his basketball career…a sport agent spotted him last week!” Sunny was happily bragging about her boyfriend.
Kibum was kind of embarrassed, everyone was string at him. “Sun…”
“That’s cool.” Siwon said. He then winked at you and smiled. “I gave up ------. I hope you’ll be happy with Jaejoong.” He thought, and chatted with Jonghyun.
Even Yunho, Yoochun and Yesung were there. Not to leave out Yoo Bin. They had heard about Jaejoong’s decision to go to England and tried to cheer you up.
“Don’t worry, he’ll miss you and come back quickly.” Yunho patted your back.
“We know him.” Yoochun added.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but, he really must have a good reason for this.” Yesung said.
You smiled, “Thanks guys.”
Sunny overheard your conversation and hugged you, “It’s ok, and he’ll be back.”
But no matter how upset you were about this, you still couldn’t cry. You tried hard not to. Both group Shining and Rising was here and they were finally getting along. You didn’t want to ruin this moment.
“Yah introduce us to that agent.” Yunho joked while the other two, Yoochun and Yesung agreed.
Sunny showed off to Yoo Bin her designs and Yoo Bin found out she also had a vocal talent.
You went to your room to take a breather, as you felt tired from standing up all day. Your friends were pleased by the snacks you had prepared for them. You could hear them munching on those cookies.
You found a picture of Jaejoong, from a couple of years ago. He was sticking out his tongue and trying to annoy you. You never knew why you kept that picture of his.
“What do you expect me to say?” You scoffed and threw the picture to your bed and lay beside it.

A couple of days later, at the airport:
After confirming what terminal he had to wait at, Jaejoong turned to you and caressed your cheek.
You frowned.
“Babe, I don’t wanna leave like this.” He attempted to kiss you but you ignored him, making him change his mind.
“Whatever…just leave already…” You mumbled.
He nodded, “Ok…bye…”
You couldn’t just let him leave like this, and you regretted what you said. You held onto his hand.
“Jae…mianhae…” Your eyes were watery, could start crying any moment now.
“Will you wait for me?” He asked as he lifted up your chin.
“Yes…” You stood up on your toes and gently kissed him, while a few tears were visible on your cheeks.
As soon as you pulled away, Jaejoong embraced you, as his plane was going to take off very soon.
“I will…miss you.” He whispered.
“Me too.” You replied.
But, soon after that, he ran off to the terminal, as all of the passengers were waiting for him. That was the last time you saw him.

2 years later:
Kyuhyun took care of you and your little brother as Jaejoong asked him to.
FLASHBACK:
“What is it?” Kyuhyun asked.
“Could you keep an eye on ------…while I’m not here?” Jaejoong was serious.
Kyuhyun nodded. “Sure.”
END OF FLASHBACK
“Oppa…it’s your first day at work, go back or you’ll get fired.” You pushed him out the door.
“------ah, it’s ok, the owner is Yunho’s friend.”
“Still…” You pouted. “Go.”
“Fine.”
Then your brother just ran out of the house, and just said “I’ll be back.”
You went to the kitchen and tried to calm down by eating chocolate ice-cream. Everyone was pissing you off. You had to get away from all this havoc.
You asked yourself a question.
“Where should I go?”

You found yourself standing in front of Jaejoong’s house. You couldn’t deny it, you missed him so much. But something was odd…the front door was open.
You were sure that last night you had locked it.
“Weird…” You said as you went in.
After his departure, you went to his house every day, and as you were afraid the candies would be spoilt, you placed them in packets and handed them to random people on the street. So the room had to be empty.
Only, it was not.
“What? How…” You wondered.
Then you heard Jaejoong’s husky voice.
“I’m back.” He said.
"Jae."
"I thought I was gonna die...I missed you...so..."
"Much!" You shouted.
He smiled. "So much." He said.
