Next Chapter, I will introduce Jaejoong's family background.
-
That was practically the end of this meaningless game you had with him. For Three years, trying everything to make the other one suffer, but in a fun way...this was the very proof that in fact, what "you" were doing, was something else than that. It was more cruel. You were surprised when you heard those last words he said.
"Yah, what do you mean?" You asked, surprised.
"I really wished for you to realize it. I really did." He murmured, and silently, left.
"What?" You were confused by what just happened. You couldn't understand why he didn't act the way you expected him to. He looked rather hurt, and disappointed. But, so what? At least this would last for a week, with no expectations of a revenge plan from them.
"------, success." Siwon smiled, but with a somewhat sad expression on his face. Which made you worry about him.
"What's wrong? What's the gloomy face for?" You pouted. Suddenly getting the feeling that it may be because of you.
He chuckled, "No, I'm fine. The others seem content about this. You should celebrate." After that, he followed a freshmen to the cafeteria.
After couple of hours, you and your friends decided to jig school and go to karaoke to celebrate your victory. Finally, it was obvious that you were the best prankster in your school! Even the stares of the group Shining was different after what happened today at school. You thought it was a good thing, beeing freed from these rich spoiled brats evil stares and gossip about you, and group rising. But now there was an unanswered question, what would happen to group Shining and Rising?
"Gee gee gee gee gee!" Sunny was singing heartfully while the others were sitting, laughing happilly and talking loudly. You on the other hand, were busy texting your little brother about your victory today.
"------ah you're smiling!" Changmin sat next to you and gave you a beer.
You shook your head, and politely refused it. "Changmin, we showed those people who we really are huh? After a very long time, we deserve to have fun, right?"
He sighed, "Yeah, we do."
"And everything will be back to normal tomorrow, they will plan something evil, right?" You asked him, as if you wanted to make sure of something. This was what you really thought actually. That you could keep doing this, forever. It was like a daily routine for you, planning things like this to annoy the other group's leader, Jaejoong/
"How should I know?" Changmin, whiningly said.
But nonetless, you all continued with what you were doing until it was time for all of you to go home. You looked around the neighboorhood and when you made sure nobody was there, entered the house quickly. And you were greeted by your little brother.
"Noona!" Jin Ho stood up and smiled.
"Jin Ho, I'm sorry you waited for me right?" You placed the snacks you bought for him to the refrigerator.
"No, don't worry. Actually, I need help with my homework." He said.
"Let me help you then." You smiled.
===
"Bye!" You waved happily after Jin Ho ran to the school's playground. It always made you happy to see him so cheerful. You wanted for him to enjoy the school life.
You met Sunny and Jonghyun somewhere around your high school, and as always, ran to classroom to see the others. But, something was different. Your friends were there alright.
"Hey!" Siwon said.
"Come, sit down." Junsu pointed to your seat.
You noticed the empty seat near the window. Jaejoong wasn't there. He would always be one of the first ones to be present at class. But where was he?
"Okay." You putted your bag on your desk and sat down. Then suddenly, you were surprised to see a new student who was standing next to the teacher, waiting to be presented to all of you.
The teacher cleared his throat to get your attention, "Class, I want you to meet our newest student, Ki Bum." He pushed Ki Bum to Jaejoong's seat. "Since Mr. Kim asked me to change his class, you can sit there."
"What?" You turned to Sunny, surprised. She just grabbed a book and tried to look occupied. Then you poked Changmin's arm, but he just sighed and didn't even turn around to look at you.
None or less, it your plan was successful. That was all that mattered to you. You wouldn't feel guilty or suddenly emotional just because someone you hated was obviously hurt by you.
"Whatever. Good riddance." You rolled your eyes.
At the end of the lesson, your friends one by one left the classroom. The new student Ki Bum offered to shake your hand. But you refused with a glare.
"Well, see you later ------sshi." He left.
You counted your steps to the cafeteria and took a deep breath before opening the door. Your eyes were looking for Jaejoong, but you slapped your cheek and returned to reality.
"What is happening? Isn't he going to strike back?" You pouted, and sat next to Jonghyun who was chatting with the others. "Guys, what is wrong with group Shining?"
Changmin who was busy eating still found the time to explain it to you.
"They want out. They don't want to play these games with you. That's what Yoochun told me." He said.
"But, why?" You couldn't understand the reason of their decision.
"------, his dream got shattered because of you. Basketball, do you know how hard he tried to convince the coach to get into that team? He can't even go practice everyday because of his studies. And now, he can never go. ------, last year of high school, there's not much time left." Yoo Bin who overheard your conversation yelled.
You glared at her, "You, mind your own business! And why are you telling me that!? Like I care!" You scoffed.
"I just thought I should tell you what you have done." She walked out of the cafeteria.
But, you knew. It really was cruel of you to do that. Dream? Once you had a dream as well. But that was before your parents left you and your brother all alone. And it was obviously hard for an 18 year old girl to work part-time and study at the same time.
But then, something caught your attention. You saw Jaejoong outside at the green field. you ran all the way over there to understand the situation better. You slowly walked toward him and tried to keep your calm. He must have heard you as he turned around.
No matter how much you tried, you couldn't talk. Whenever your eyes would meet his, you felt guilty.
Then finally, "So, what now?" You tried to sound uninterested.
He scoffed, "End of the game." He showed you a book, "I have to study." He left you there, staring at the spot he was standing at before. It was over, no more group Shining and Rising.
"You must be kidding me. Kim Jaejoong." You growled.
