Chapter 19
News, Gossip, Reporters.
Raymond extended his arm out in front of me. I shook my head vigorously. I couldn't go up there are you kidding me.
He ignored my head shaking and just smiled at me. “Happy Belated Birthday Charmaine!" Raymond, Bosco and Ron said in sync as Raymond took my hand and pulled me up.
"I can't go up there Ray," I whispered to Raymond.
"Don't worry just smile and you'll be fine," he reassured as gave me a little boost up the stairs.
Boy was I nervous when I looked out into the audience and as I would've guessed, I caught lots of dirty looks from eager female fans.
The guys sang their song as the huddled around me the whole time. They definitely reassured me, letting me know that I wasn't alone up on that stage
After the concert the guys had a party to attend to. I wasn't sure if I should go or not, I was tired, it was getting late, my parents weren't home, and I was just making up excuses for myself and I wasn't even sure why.
"Come on Charm, you should just come with us," Bosco said.
"What are you going to do at home anyways? Watch yourself on TV?" Raymond joked.
"Okay I'll come," I said as I laughed at Raymond's previous comment.
While Bosco, Raymond and I were waiting in the dressing room backstage, Ron was calling the chauffeur where ever he could find good reception.
Walking over to us he said, "The chauffeur got his hands on another limo, and he should get here in a minute or so."
"I guess we could go outside and wait for him there since the crew is packing up in here," Raymond suggested.
We all agreed an walked to the back doors. When we got there we noticed a bunch of reporters trying to barge in as the security guards were keeping them out.
"What a popular life you guys have," I kidded.
"Yep that's a life of a celebrity," Raymond said as he placed his hand over my shoulders as we all just stood there for a bit.
"So what are we going to do?" I asked, "It'll take all night for them to leave."
"Maybe even all morning," Bosco said.
"All we can do is just go through these hectic reporters," Ron said.
We walked over the doors as the body guards pushed their way through crowd attempting to create a path for us to walk through.
As we took our first steps out fans came running towards the guys asking for autographs and pictures. As for he reporters, their target was apparently not the guys but me.
"So how do you know these guys?" one reporter asked.
"Are you dating any of them?" another asked, "Is it Raymond?" the reporter added. "You guys had this spark of chemistry when he approached you tonight and walked you up to the stage."
The reporters began to mumble about Raymond and I after the reporter brought up the fact that he held my hand and helped me up to the stage in front of the entire audience. Questions where flying everywhere, and I had no idea how to answer them, all I did was try to push them out of the way with the help of the body guard and avoid their camera shots.
What did I get myself into? I kept thinking. If mom and dad see this news, I will have a long interrogation with them.
"Are you okay?" Raymond asked me.
"About what?" I asked with confusion not too sure what he was referring to.
"The reporters," he said.
I nodded.
I wasn't really okay though, it was weird. The amount of attention they would give you and the little privacy they leave for you. All too much for me to handle, but that wasn't all, I had just started to slowly let my crazy thoughts about Raymond and I go, and the reporters, and soon enough the public are going to shove it in my face once again.__________________________________________
Hey guys, schools starting a little too soon. Sorry it took me so long to update, got kind of lazy this past week. Well I guess I'm going to go on a leave from winglin, and this story is going to need to go on hiatus >< for a couple months, just until school is done. Really need to bring up those marks from last term. *sigh* I wanted to finish this story before the break was over, but I'll try to update if I have free time. Well enjoy this chapter, and anticipate for Raymond's persepective in this story =P! Don't forget to comment! =D
