Chapter 2
In a Dilemma
I was walking to the movie theatre to meet up with Kevin. Gigi was supposed to meet up with us at the mall after the movie. Once I got there I saw him waiting there for me. He is so cute with that sweet smile of his.
"Kevin," I yelled as I walked up to him.
He smiled back at me with opened arms.
I gave him a hug in return.
We went into the theatre sitting close to the back. He put his arm around me shoulder, sigh, could life get any better?
The movie was long and boring, but that doesn’t matter, as long as I'm with Kevin anything is great. We began heading to the mall, and there I saw her, my best friend dressed in her cute sexy outfit trying to seduce my one and only. I know, I know, it's as though my best friend would seduce the one guy I like. I mean, her personality is just like that right?
"Hey Charmaine!" she squealed and she pounced over to me and whispered, "is that your beau?"
I nodded with a big smile as I grabbed onto his arm. I felt a bit of insecurity for some odd reason. "Kevin, this is Gigi, my one and only best friend that I have known since forever, and Gigi, meet Kevin," I said as I introduced them to each other.
The two shook hands and we walked into the mall. As we walked in, Gigi not only didn't walk beside me, but she walked beside Kevin. Charmaine you aren't getting jealous are you? Highly impossible. Gigi is your friend, your FRIEND. She is not going to take Kevin away from you. I walked over to a store and began to look at the clothes, but as I was doing that, I glanced over at where Gigi and Kevin were standing. They were sure kicking it off well, laughing and joking, and to think that they just met. I decided to walk back over there to see what they were talking about that was so funny.
"Hey you guys, so what were you talking about?" I questioned.
"Oh nothing important," Gigi said trying to change the topic. "So did you see anything good there?"
I shook my head. I was curious, and not jealous, I just wanted to know what they were talking about.
Suddenly Gigi spoke up, "Hey Charmaine, Kevin and I decided that we should go out for dinner tonight."
I looked at the time and it was already eight o'clock. I had to get home, and she knew that, yet she goes and makes more plans with the guy, my guy.
"I can't I have to go home now. You guys should just go without me," I responded unwillingly.
"Are you sure Charmaine?" she asked.
I nodded what else could I do. Was I supposed to go and tell her that he's my boyfriend and she should go and find her own? And to my surprise, Kevin doesn't say a word.
"Okay then. Be careful, bye!" she responded in a perky tone and dragged Kevin away.
Kevin came back over to give me a hug, I thought he was going to stay with me, but then he said, "I'll see you soon dear, I'll call you tonight or something." He gave me a peck on the forehead and left with her.
I know this was going to happen, I just knew it, and I did nothing to stop it from happening, what's wrong with me?
I went home by myself angered at what had just happened though I had kept the feelings to myself. My parents had gone out for dinner without me thus I jumped onto the couch and turned on the TV.
"R2B is coming back in town next week. Stay tuned to listen out for R2B prizes that may be won including all exclusive VIP backstage passes to their concert," the host announced as the TV. flickered on.
Sigh, the glory of being a celebrity. With people there to admire you, idolize you, and compliment you. Yet it's merely another fad. Out with the old and in with the new. Soon enough this new band is going to be out with all those other oldies.
I decided to call Tavia to see what she was up to. "Hey it's me Tavia, I'm busy right now please leave a brief message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Beep!"
"Hey Tav, I'm bored, call me! PLEASE!!!" I cried on the phone and hung up.

Hey guys here's another short and Charray-less update. I'm just trying to rush through this boring stuff in my planned out story line. lol. Well I apologize that it took me longer than expected to update. A lot of unplanned event popped up making my schedule really hectic. I'm going to be busy this week but I'll try my best to squeeze in my last chapter before Charray meet. Anyways, enjoy this boring chapter if that is possible, and don't forget to comment! =)
