Chapter 24
Raymond's Diary: Day 1
I met Tavia's cousin Charmaine today. She's an interesting girl though. She didn't even know who me, Ron and Bosco were. What a shocker? I guess she isn't like those girls who only care about how they look and who they hang around with. I'm guessing that's what attracted me to her, or maybe it's our similarity. Though I just met her, it seemed like we shared a strong bond, and that we could tell what is going through each other's minds. Maybe it's the fact that we've been through the same ups and downs before in our love lives. I felt a different, type of need to help her back up, a stronger need. She got mad at me at first for trying to find out what was going on when she was talking to Tavia, but I think she understood my good intentions after wards. I saw her ex-love, and I could tell that he was a player. His arms were around her friend, but his eye's were on her, Charmaine. A man that steps onto two boats is not a good one. I hope she realizes that. I think she got a text message from him today, but I'm not too sure. We were in my kitchen at the time, and when I asked her who it was from she said it was just an ad. I knew she was lying, but I didn't want to say anything.
When we finished the movie the Ron drove Tavia and Bosco home, but since it was inconvenient for him to drive Charmaine home, I took her home. Arriving in front of her house, I wanted to ask her about that text message, but I decided not to, I just hope that she would make the right decision. I watched her walk to the door, but then I noticed that there was another figure approaching her. It was the guy at the rental store, that guy Kevin. I didn't know what he was up to so I parked my car aside and decided to follow them. They walked over to the park, and I saw them talking. He was a player for sure, I saw him telling Charmaine how he loved her, and how he didn't want to hurt her, yet he's dating her best friend. To my disbelief, he went over and hugged her, but what shocked me more was that Charmaine hugged him back. Does she not realize that she is going to get hurt all over again?
