Chapter 26
Raymond's Diary: Day 3
I went to jog at the park near Charmaine's house today. It was as though my feet naturally led me there. Coincidentally I bumped into Charmaine. I tried asking how things were between her and that guy, but she wouldn't tell me the truth. We went back to her place to eat lunch, she made me a sandwich, I don't know if it was because I was really hungry or not, but it tasted great. I helped her clean up after we finished cleaning up, but the two of us ended up making a mess causing her to slip and fall as she was running towards me. I wanted to go catch her before she fell but I ended up falling myself, luckily I broke her fall. When she was lying on top of me, I had this electrifying feeling. It was indeed a weird feeling. As I was helping her up, I decided to wake her up too; I ended up breaking her down into tears. When I saw her cry, I had this other weird feeling. I gave her my shoulder to cry on and gave her a hug so she knew that she wasn't alone to overcome her problem. Her parents called telling her to have dinner with them. I heard from Tavia that her parents were really overprotective, so I quickly helped her clean up and left so she wouldn't get into trouble. Though I was a little disappointed that we couldn't have dinner together, there's always a next time.
