Raymond's Diary: Day 5
The guys' and I have a concert coming up soon. The first person that came to mind that I wanted to invite was Charmaine. She wasn't like the other girls that I have met. For all I know, she doesn't even know that we have a concert coming up. She wasn't into my fame, my fortune, just merely my friendship.
I went over to her place today to pick her up for her birthday party. Everything was great until she received this phone call. Although I appeared to be asleep after she woke up, I was most definitely awake. The phone call upset her, and it pained me to see her upset on her own special day.
I drove her back home after the party, and handed her some flowers; flowers symbolic of our friendship. I didn't want her to think too much on our relationship right after the chaotic one she just had. I wanted to wait for her to be ready before we moved to the next step. I didn't want to rush things. Was that a mistake though? Because when I handed her the flowers I wanted to take them back and give her the bouquet of roses I had in the back of my car; a dozen lilac roses symbolic of how I felt about our relationship, "love at first sight".
_____________________________________________Hmm... so this whole flower thing... i did have to do a little research but i'm still not to certain about the data i found. Are they different in different cultures or countries? b/c i could have swore that in a tvb series i watched 13 meant that the person had a crush on you. but who knows. well there's another short update. i have tests coming up next week, so i'll be doing some studying, but i'll still try to update since the chapters are very short. well i'll do my best.
