I brought my knees up to my chest as I sat there in my bed crying. I loss Raymond, I wasn't even able to be there for him when he found out the news about his dad. I'm such a useless person.
After I wasted away hours in my room sulking I finally came to my senses. I picked up my phone and dialed Tavia's number.
"Hello, Tavia?" I asked as heard someone pick up the phone.
"What do you want Charmaine?" she asked me in a frustrated tone. She was still angry at me for the other day, and probably many other reasons that I have just found out about, meaning letting Raymond go.
Taking a deep breath I asked her, "Tavia, do you know where exactly Raymond is?"
"No," she responded with the simple word trailed by a long pause of silence.
I didn't dare say a word; it was my fault that Raymond's gone, what more was there for me to say.
"You should give Ron or Bosco a call, they might know is alternate number," she suddenly added.
A smile spread across my face as I quickly thanked Tavia.
Going through my phonebook, Bosco's name was the first to appear. I gave him a call but it seemed like his phone was turned off.
I quickly looked for Ron's name to call him. As I dialed his number all I heard was the dial tone. I was going to give up and hang up the phone just as Ron picked up.
"Hello, Ron?" I asked in a hurry.
"Charmaine? What's up?" he asked.
"I was wondering if I could get Raymond's number?"
"Sure," he responded as though he's been expecting my call.
I got Raymond's number. I looked at it as I was a little hesitant to call.
I picked up the phone as I slowly entered in each number before I pressed 'dial'. The phone rang for a long time and finally a lady picked up the phone, "Hello, Lam's resident," she greeted.
"Good day ma'am, may I speak to Raymond please?" I asked as I tried to control my shaky voice.
"Raymond?" she asked back, "He isn't here at the moment."
"Oh," I said a little disappointed.
"Who is this I'm speaking to?"
"Umm... I'm Charmaine. A friend he met in Hong Kong."
"Well nice to meet you Charmaine. I'm his mother. You see Raymond's father recently passed away, and since Raymond is our only son, he decided to take over his father's company. He's out on a business trip right now, and I myself am not too sure when he will be back, but it would be my pleasure to let him know that you have called when I see him."
"Is there any other way that I can reach him?"
"Sorry Charmaine, I too have to wait for him to call me."
"Thank-you Mrs. Lam. Sorry for bothering you."
"No bother at all," she responded as she hung up the phone.
Was this it for me and Raymond? Was I never going to see him again?
[2 years later...]
For the last two years, I've been trying to get a hold of Raymond, but I always lucked out. Even Ron and Bosco could not reach him.
Within these two years I started to write novels based on this true story. I never would've guessed that these chapters in my life would be so intriguing to young and old readers of today. Before I knew it, I had my own fan club and was considerably well known.
Ron and Bosco no longer entered the entertainment industry; in fact, Ron became a well known dancing instructor. He too moved to the states to be with his family.
As for Bosco, it turned out that him and Tavia had something going on between them. The two of them have been going out for almost a year now, and they are as sweet as ever. Sometimes it saddens me to see them together, not because I don't want the two of them to be happy, it's just that, if history were to repeat itself, and I had made the right choice to tell Raymond how I felt to begin with, it makes me wonder if we would be as sweet or even sweeter then they were.
Today was the premier of my latest addition to my novel collection which carries the chapters of not only life, but Raymond's too. I was at an autograph signing session. Looking down into the audience, and seeing so many people who have come to support me, I never thought this day would come.
As I sat in front of the large crowd I heard my name being called by a familiar voice.

Well it seems like I'm very close to my conclusion to this story. Just a chapter (or maybe two if I decide not too sqeeze the entire thing in one) away. I know it's really weird how Raymond just kind of suddenly disappears, and how his mother doesn't even know where he is but there is a reason behind all that, so bare with me you guys. Hmm... as for Tavia, Ron and Bosco, to tell you guys the truth, I'm actually good with both Bota, and Taro, ... why I picked Bota? Well if Bosco were to be on his own, I wasn't too sure how I would conclude his character in this story. So I hope Taro fans won't start throwing tomatoes at me. lol.
[I know I'm a big hypocrite ><]: I really enjoy reading all your comments you guys, but I must admit, i tend to be a silent reader myself, well not much of a reader, more of a skimmer. lol. I know a lot of my commentors have stories themselves and I have most definitely taken a look at them (Deex3 i think i've seen yours too but i'm not 100% sure). I have a reason (possibly an excuse) for not commenting tho. it's just that I would like the get to actually read the chapters before I really comment, because if i comment when i merely skim through the story, I don't feel that I can really comment on what the writer has written.
I guess I've babbled enough for today. I hope you guys will still comment after my big confession. Well enjoy, and stay tuned for the ending.
