Lee Hom looked around the room and spotted a remote eye on the ceiling of the room. So he was right, they were using him as bait. Footsteps were heard coming down the stairs followed by Hebe's familiar voice.
"Let go of him!" Hebe shouted to Old Wang as she ran towards Lee Hom. Old Wang ordered his men to move away.
"Don't forget what you've promised." Old Wang reminded her.
"Are you alright?" Lee Hom and Hebe said together. Hebe shook her head and looked at him.
Zax, who was standing beside his father all along, observed the couple. He liked Hebe the moment they met a few minutes ago. He wanted to be in Lee Hom's place. The sight of the both of them made him look away. Old Wang, on the other hand, was getting impatient and ordered his men to separate Lee Hom and Hebe.
"What's happening?" Lee Hom looked over the men's shoulders at the petite Hebe who was standing behind them.
"I...I have decided to stay here...with my family..." Hebe forced the words out of her mouth. "Thank you for helping me all these while..." Hebe stared at the ground and bit her lips.
"Wh..what?" Lee Hom could not believe his ears. What was she saying?
"I will be staying here to take over what my father left for me. You... you have to go back without me..."
"Hebe.."
"Go!" Hebe looked up from the ground and stared in Lee Hom's eyes. She wanted to remember him for the rest of her life, how she felt whenever they looked at each other, for this could well be the last time she will see him again. Lee Hom looked back at her, his gaze seem to be filled with pain and confusion.
"In that case, ok... Since I may not see you again, I have something of yours to return." Lee Hom reached into his pocket and pulled out a huge, round bronze coin. He placed it in his open palm and held out his hand. Hebe looked into his eyes. The coin had no relation to her at all, neither does it belong to her, but she knew it was going to save her life. She wanted to go towards him but Old Wang's men blocked her way. Hebe turned and gave a cold stare at Old Wang, who in turned, gestured for his men to step back.
Hebe raised her hand and placed her palm over Lee Hom's. As soon as her hand touched his, Lee Hom grabbed her hand and pulled her behind him. He then stepped forward and kicked the three men in front of him. His actions were swift and smooth. It all happened too fast for the three men to react. They fell backwards onto Old Wang and Zax.
Lee Hom seized the opportunity to run. He grabbed Hebe's hand and dashed out of the house. Old Wang's three guards raised their guns and prepared to shoot.
"Don't shoot! You'll hurt Tian Fu Zhen! Go after them!" Zax stopped the guards and shouted.

Lee Hom easily defeated the three men and ran towards the limousine they had came in parked outside the gate of the Tians' mansion. Just as they were about to approach the vehicle, Zax appeared in front of them.
"Do you think you'll be able to run away forever?" Zax looked at Hebe. Without waiting for Hebe to answer, Lee Hom stepped forward and attempted to bring him down. Unexpectedly, Zax was a much better fighter than the previous three men Lee Hom had fought. He had underestimated Zax.
Hebe watched as the two men fought with each other. None of them were willing to give in to each other. Hebe looked into the house, if she and Lee Hom do not leave now, they might not be able to leave later. Without hesitation, she barged in the centre of the two men in a bid to stop the fight.
Zax froze his punch in the air, centimetres away from Hebe's face as she stood in front of Lee Hom. Hebe closed her eyes, anticipating the punch. She opened her eyes.
From their first encounter in the house, Hebe knew that Zax was not a bad person, she decided to try her luck.
"Although I don't know for sure if I'm able to run away forever, but I am willing to try... Please, let me go." Hebe pleaded with Zax.
Zax looked into her eyes, for some reason, he wanted very much to help her, if that's what she wanted, he could help her, although he knew very well that he was not supposed to. He turned around and walked away from them, back into the house. Deep inside him, Zax made a promise to himself. He gave her a chance, it's now up to her to grab hold of that chance. If he were to see her again, he knew he wouldn't let go anymore.
Lee Hom pulled the limousine's helpless driver out of the car and climbed into the driver's seat. Hebe stared at Zax's disappearing back and whispered a 'thank you' to him before climbing into the limousine.
