Walking into her room, confused at the empty manor, Rain soon notices a note on her dress table. As she picks it up, and reads it, she was only able to find terror.

“Maybe no one’s home?” Eileen suggested, as Mark and Raymond stood by the door and rang the doorbell of the Ko Manor.
“No, Rain must be in there,” Raymond said in certainty, as he rang the doorbell once more.
Just as Raymond was about give up and leave, the door opens, revealing a teary-eyed Rain.
Raymond, at the sight of Rain’s expression, “Rain, are you all right?” he asks walking up close to her.
Rain, unable to hold back, hugs Raymond, and begins to cry, as Raymond, though at first shocked, then gently strokes his hand on her hair.

“Miss Lee, do you know your dad might be?” Mark asks with Eileen sitting next to him, as Raymond and Rain sat across from them in the manor’s living room.
“No,” Rain replies, trying to hold back her emotions, as Raymond sat closely next to her.
“Do you know of any place or anyone he would go to at this time?” Mark continued to ask.
“No,” Rain gives the same response, slowly shaking her head.
Eileen, knowing that nothing was going to get accomplished, “Mark, Rain must be very tired right now, maybe we should come back tomorrow,” she suggests.
Mark, knowing that Eileen was right, “Yeah,” and turns to Rain, “Miss Lee, is it all right if we come back tomorrow?”
“Yes,” Rain answers, appreciative of their efforts and understanding, “thanks.” With that she gets up to see them out the door.
As they reach the door, and Rain begins to open it, Raymond reluctant to go, turns to her, “Are you sure you’ll be okay?”
Rain, gives a weak, reassuring smile, “Yeah, I’ll be fine, thanks Raymond.”
With that, Mark, Eileen, and Raymond all leave the manor, Raymond holding one last glance at Rain.
As Rain closes the door in front of her and turns around to face the empty manor, she slowly begins to sob, breaking into tears, as she leans on the door and sits there crying, alone.

“So, we’ll be here again tomorrow,” Eileen says with a sigh as she turns to look at the manor from the outside, “I feel so bad for Rain, her dad just ditched her like that.”
Mark, putting his hand on Eileen’s shoulders, “Ko Hung actually put Rain as first priority. He knows that if he goes to confess the murder, the tabloids will know of the conviction, but by leaving here, until he’s caught, no news of this will be opened to the public.”
“So he’d rather hide in the dark and never see Rain again?” Eileen states, understandingly.
“Let’s go,” Mark says, turning Eileen to the car, and seeing that Raymond wasn’t getting into his own car, “you coming Raymond?”
“No,” Raymond slowly replies, as Mark and Eileen leave, worried of what is too happen, as he continues to look up into the manor.

As Mark drove Eileen home, he could not help but notice Eileen being lost in thought, “Eileen, are you all right?”
“Yeah,” Eileen replies, though it did not seem so, “I’m just worried if letting Raymond take part in this case is a good decision, what if this effects his relationship with Michelle. I mean, they’re finally starting to have a steady and normal relationship, and him taking part in this case…”
“I know what you mean,” Mark agrees, taking his left hand into Eileen’s right hand, “but it is up to Raymond to keep his personal life and work life separate, if some things are meant to be, then it’ll happen. This could even just be a test in Raymond and Michelle’s relationship, just let life take its course.”
