“Mister, are you a close friend of Rain Lee?”
“What do you think of her father, business tycoon Ko Hung, being a murderer?”
“Does she have anything to say?”
“What is your opinion on this?”
Raymond, pushing past the reporters, not wanting to reveal his identity, makes it up to the gates and calls for a maid, approaching them.
“You guys, just leave, our Mistress isn’t even here,” the maid told the reporters, as they were still restless, targeting the maid for answers.

“Did anyone see Raymond this morning?” Michelle asks, upon entering the police department.
“No, he hasn’t even come to work yet,” Eileen answers.
“Yeah, he’s usually the first ones here,” Uncle Kuk adds in, “Wonder if he’s okay.”
“Raymond is taking the day off,” Mark informs them, as he walks into the department, “he just called me, and told me that he will not be coming to work today.”
Before anyone could ask, Angela comes rushing in, a magazine in hand. “Hey have any of you seen Rain or Raymond?”
Surprised at the question, Michelle replies, “No, why?”
“Look at this,” Angela says, handing them a magazine with Rain and Ko Hung on the cover.
Realizing what was happening, Michelle turns to Mark and knowingly asks, “Were we in charge of this case?”

Raymond, after driving for several hours, finally parks his car by the side of a park and puts his head onto the wheel. Frustrated by where Rain could be, he lies there, stressed in thought. Just then, his cell phone rings as he quickly answers, “Rain!”

“No Raymond, it’s Michelle,” Michelle replies, disappointed by her assumption, “are you all right, you weren’t at work? Where are you right now?”

“Is it because of Rain’s case,” Michelle says, “I know she’s not at home right now, are you looking for her?”

“Yeah,” Raymond reveals, guilty of hiding it from Michelle.

“I will, bye,” Raymond ends the conversation, as he slowly turns off the call. At that moment, he turns to look out the window, seeing a little boy with his parents.
“Okay, let’s go home now, the afternoon’s sun is too bright,” the mom told the little boy, “tomorrow daddy and I will take you to the beach, okay?”
At the very moment, Raymond realizes where Rain was and quickly starts his car and drives off.

“How could the news have leaked out?” Mark questions himself.
“The reporters probably bought the news off someone in the station,” Uncle Kuk concludes, “otherwise, there couldn’t have been a way that the reporters could know.”
“I’m just worried about Rain right now?” Eileen concerns, then noticing a silent Michelle by her side, “Michelle, are you all right, you haven’t spoken at all ever since your call with Raymond.”
Michelle, pulling out from thought, “Yeah, I’m fine. What were we talking about?”
“We were just thinking of where Rain could go,” Eileen repeats, “other than her home, she doesn’t have any place else to go.”
After a second’s thought, Michelle finds her answer.

Rain looks hopefully up at the night sky, not trying to think of anything, suddenly hears her name. As she turns to her right, Rain sees Raymond standing in front of her. Rain gives a weak smile.
Raymond slowly sits down next to Rain, “I went to the manor this morning,” he informs her.
“I know that the news will somehow leak, and that reporters will be at home by this morning,” Rain tells him. “I just need some time to process what’s happening before I make any public appearances.”
Raymond looks at Rain deeply, “You really have changed,” he tells her.
Rain smiles slightly to the comment and looks up into the stars, “The stars are really, really pretty tonight. If there was a wishing star right now, I would just hope that all this is just a dream, a dream that would just go away,” she says, tears beginning to form in her eyes.
Raymond, feeling her pains, “Rain…”
Rain, caught up in all emotions, turns and hugs Raymond tightly. “I don’t know, I really don’t. Everything is going so fast right now, I can’t seem to grasp it. I have so many doubts, so many questions I can’t get answers to.”
“I promise…” Raymond tells her, gently brushing Rain’s hair, and pulling her closer into him, “I promise to love you, forever and for always. Never changing, never doubting.”
