“Alex…” Rain starts as she hands him the box holding the “Forever” necklace, “I don’t think I’ll be able to accept this gift.”
Alex looks down at the box, in confusion, not knowing how to respond.
“I’m sorry,” Rain explains, “It’s not you, you’re a great guy, who would make a wonderful boyfriend to a very lucky girl, but I don’t think that girl is me,” she slowly takes her hand away from the box, “I’m sorry.”
“Is it because…” Alex wanted to ask her, but was unable to go through.
“It’s me,” Rain tries to explain, “I guess, I just can’t seem to see anything clearly right now. Everything I look at is blurry, and I don’t think I would be able to accept a relationship at the moment,” she concludes. “Alex, you are my oldest and dearest friend, and I really don’t want to lose you in any way, but I do understand if you…”

“I’m here,” Michelle turns to Raymond, as they reach her manor. Not wanting to let go of Raymond’s hand, she continues to hold it, waiting for his response.
“Why aren’t going in then?” Raymond asks wittingly, holding onto her hand.
Michelle, pretending to be upset by his words, “I am,” she says, turning towards the gates, but was pulled back by Raymond.
“You’re not really mad are you?” he asks, as he pulls her closer to him.
“I wouldn’t spend the time getting mad at you,” Michelle retorts, looking away.
“Okay then,” Raymond says, letting go of Michelle’s hand, and turns away.
“You’re leaving already?” Michelle quickly asks, but then realizes her mistake, and quickly holds back.
Raymond turns around, and smiles, “I thought you were still mad?” he teases, but then explains, “I feel kind of tired right now, I think I would like to just go home and rest.”
Michelle, getting worried, “Are you all right?” she says, stepping up to him.
“Yeah,” Raymond gives a reassuring smile, “I’ll see you tomorrow all right?”
Michelle, returning the smile, “Okay, go home and get lots of rest,” she insists.
“I will,” Raymond replies, as he turns to walk down the street once again.
Michelle watches, smiling to herself, as Raymond walks down the street, and until she can no longer see him.

As Rain enters her manor, she realizes that no one was in the household, as they all had the day off since she was the only one who would be home, for Ko Hung had to leave out of the city on business affairs. As she walks through the living room, she frustrates over Alex’s last response to her.

“I think I just need some time to process it,” Alex interrupts, as he gets up and turns away, leaving Rain unable to do anything and feeling at fault.

Walking into his bedroom, Raymond closes the door behind him, as he starts to walk towards his desk in the right corner. Once reaching to his desk, he opens the bottom right drawer of his desk and takes out a small box. As he lifted the box up towards him, a picture falls out and he bends to pick it up, looking into the picture.

Rain walks into her empty bedroom, slowly walking towards her night table and sits gently on her bedside. She continues to sit in the same position, looking down towards the second, bottom drawer of her night table, as she argues her emotions. She then, slowly starts to open the drawer. As the drawer opens, she begins to take out a small, single box inside the drawer, and brings it onto her lap, still holding it within her hands. She looks at it reluctantly, but then opens the box in half.

“Wah… it’s so beautiful,” Rain exclaims, as finally finishes unwrapping the package and opens the box in half, but then saddens, “Aww… but how come there’s only half a heart, and it’s a broken heart too,” she pouts, turning to him.
Raymond smiles mischievously, “I don’t know, what do you think?”
Rain, looks at him suspiciously, “Raymond Lam, what is the meaning of this?” she scolds, “Are you trying to curse me and put a dateless spell on me?!”
Raymond laughs, “Is that the first thing that comes to mind?” he asks, amused.
“I don’t know, what should I be thinking about this necklace then,” Rain asks cunningly, as she looks down at the thin, circular, silver necklace with the broken heart held in the center.
“I guess that’s for me to know and for you to find out,” answers Raymond, grinning to her confusion.
“Aww… can’t you just tell me,” Rain pouts, pulling at his arm.
“Wah, if you pull any more, my arm is going to fall out of place,” Raymond informs.
Before Rain could respond, a couple approaches them from behind.
“Excuse me,” the man asks, “My wife and I were wondering if we could have a picture of the both of you?”
“We just opened a new café, and we were looking around for couples to advertise for our shop, because it’s theme for lovers,” explains the woman, as she points towards a little shop not far from the dock.
Rain looks over to Raymond in bewilderment, as Raymond smiles, and explains, “Sorry, we’re not really a couple.”
“Oh, that’s too bad,” the woman remarks, “You guys would make such a loving couple.”
“We may not be boy/girlfriend, but we could definitely love to pair as one for your shop,” Rain offers, looking to Raymond with as smile.
Raymond returns the smile, “Of course, it would be our pleasure.”
As the man was about to take the picture with his instant camera, the woman quickly intercepts.
“Miss, why don’t you were that necklace,” she suggests, as she sees Rain holding onto the opened box.
“Oh yeah,” Rain realizes.
“Here, I’ll help you put it on,” Raymond offers, as he removes the necklace from the box, and puts it around her as she pulls up her hair for him.
Raymond latches the necklace, smiling to himself, as they then posed for their picture.
After taking two shots of them, the man takes one photo and offers it to Raymond, “Here, you guys might want to keep one as an memento,” the man explains.
“Thanks,” Raymond gestures, as he takes the photo.

“You must be buying this for your girlfriend?”
“She’s not exactly my girlfriend,” Raymond explains to the sales associate.
“Oh, would this be the gift that you plan on giving her as the start of an official relationship?”
Raymond smiles at the suggestion, “I don’t know. Hope so.”
