Ko Hung hands his luggage to the maid, and walks towards Rain, “I didn’t want to bother my productive daughter,” he says, explaining, “I heard that you have been really standing out at the company lately.”
“Please, you know me Dad, it won’t be long until I get bored of the business life,” Rain jokes, as she takes Ko Hung by the arm and escorts him to the sofa.
Ko Hung pats Rain’s hand, as they seat, “Now that I see you being able to handle the family business, I can leave feeling assured.”
Rain, looking up at him, “Dad, is everything okay, you sound so…” she trails, not being able to find the right words.
“Of course,” Ko Hung reassures her, “It’s just that I’ll be going on a long business trip soon, and I don’t know when I’ll be coming back, so I just wanted my daughter to feel comfortable with what is going to be ahead for her.”
Rain smiles and hugs her dad, putting her head on his shoulders, “Well then, you shouldn’t worry either, because your daughter will not let her dad down.”

Michelle walks into the department, but only finds the room all dark with no one to be seen. She then walks to the left of the room to turn on the lights. Upon switching on the light, she hears a group of voices singing behind her, and turns to find all her co-workers, Raymond being in the middle, standing from aside, and walking towards her.
“Happy Birthday to You,” the group all sang, as the walked closer and closer towards her, “Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to Michelle, Happy Birthday to You!”
“Happy Birthday Michelle!” they all cheered, as Michelle is too overwhelmed to speak.
“Well, isn’t Birthday Girl going to give a speech?” Eileen asks.
Michelle, taking a moment to realize it was her being regarded to, “Thanks. Thanks so much you guys, I’m really, really grateful,” she finally managed to say.
“Well, the person you should be thanking is Raymond, he was the one who told us it was your birthday today,” Mark points out, “Speaking of your boyfriend, I think he would like a few words with you,” Mark hints, as Eileen nudges Raymond forward to Michelle.
Raymond, jerking slightly forward towards Michelle, stops, and smiles to her, “Happy Birthday,” he says lamely, but then leans over towards her, and gives her a peck on the cheek.
As everyone cheers at the action, Raymond backs away, as Eileen presented Michelle her cake, “Make a wish first,” Eileen reminds her.
Michelle closes her eyes, as she made a wish and then opens her eyes to the cake and blew out the candle.

“Miss Lee,” the secretary gently knocks on Rain’s open office doors, as she enters, “There’s someone here to see you.”
Rain looks up from her files, “Oh, okay,” she replies, as she quickly puts her files aside.
“It’s rare to see Rain Lee being so serious about something.”
Rain then looks up to see Alex in front of her, “Alex,” she responds in surprise.
“Not happy to see me,” Alex smiles, as he walks towards her.
“No, no, of course not,” Rain assures, as she gets out of seat and walks towards him, then without a second’s thought, hugs him.

“Hey,” Raymond says quietly as he approached Michelle, who was working through lunch.
Michelle turns to see Raymond inches away from her, “Hey,” she responds, then gently kisses him from the side, and slowly backs out, “Thanks Raymond.”
Raymond did not respond, as he softly brought out from behind him, a small box and presented it to her.
Michelle looks at the small box, eyes almost knowing and filled with hope, “Raymond…”
“Open it and see if you like it,” Raymond says, before Michelle could start.
Michelle then takes the box and slowly opens the cover in half.

“So, how has Miss Lee been doing?”
“Alex, even you’re starting to make fun of me too,” Rain whines, as they share a late lunch in a café.
“Now why would I do that,” Alex says with a smile, “but I have been hearing very good comments on you through my dad and his associates, so that does say a bit.”
Rain, smiling with gratitude, “I guess this is what I needed, to settle into a world that brings me away from everything else.”
Alex then looks to Rain, “Would that mean you’re ready to start a new relationship?”
Rain, startled by his question, did not know how to respond only looks up to him.
“Don’t worry,” Alex explains, “I’m not demanding an answer or anything of the sort, I just wanted to know if I may have the opportunity to be a part of your new start.”
Rain gives a weak smile, “I don’t think there ever was an old to end.”
