Tin Ling had a nice time dreaming about her times in Taiwan, with her uncle and aunt. When she woke up, she was shocked to find herself facing two strangers. She moved back, frightened by the knowledge of not knowing them.
KEUNG: Ling, you finally woke up! Tell us what happened to you!
MEINA: Yeah, did that Cheung Chi Lik frighten you? He let you go?
LING: (panicky) Who are you? (searched frantically for Tim) Where’s Tim? Where’s Tim? Where?
KEUNG: He had to cope with some urgent matters in the company, so he sent us here to take care of you. Tell us, Ling, did Cheung Chi Lik abduct you?
LING: (shakes her head) I don't know him… I don't know you two too…
KEUNG: Don’t play with us, Ling! I am Chi Keung, Chi Keung ah!
MEINA: (added) And I’m Meina! What happened to you? I thought the doctor only say you have some difficulty in speaking…
LING: Where is Tim? I don’t want to speak to you two!
KEUNG: (to Meina) She doesn’t seem to have any problem talking now!
MEINA: Ling, I think we better send you to the hospital for a check-up!
LING: No! I am not going to the hospital! Who are you two? I want to see Tim!
KEUNG: I told you Tim is busy…
MEINA: We’ll bring you to the hospital first, he can visit you later…
LING: (stubbornly) I’m not going anywhere without Tim!
KEUNG: How can you…
MEINA: (stopped him) Keung, I think we better bring her to Tim now…
KEUNG: But Tim is busy fighting the battle!
MEINA: (considers) I think it makes no harm, at least he can persuade her to go to the hospital!
KEUNG: (looks at Tin Ling) I guess so…
MEINA: Ling, we’ll bring you to see Tim now.
LING: Really?
Meina and Chi Keung look at each other and nod their heads.

Meina and Chi Keung brought Tin Ling to see Tim.
MEINA: (enters) Tim…
TIM: Ah Ling? (to Keung and Meina) Why is she here? Isn’t she supposed to be resting at Sandy’s place? I told you to take care of her!
LING: (went to Tim’s side) Tim, why did you leave without telling me?
KEUNG: She insisted to see you, we can’t do anything! And she doesn’t recognize us at all!
TIM: (to Ling) What happened?
MEINA: We wanted to bring her to the hospital for another check-up, but she wanted to see you, so we…
TIM: Listen to me, Ling! You must go to the hospital now, let Chi Keung and Meina accompany you there now…
LING: Why aren’t you going with me?
TIM: I can’t get away…
JACK: (knocks and come in) Mr. Yip, Cheung Chi Lik is on the line.
TIM: (picks up the phone) Hello…
[LIK: Yip Wing Tim, what are you up to?]
TIM: Shouldn’t I be the one asking this question?
[LIK: Your tricks don’t work on me!]
TIM: (confidently) Then why are you calling me? Shouldn’t you be… trying something to comfort your boss?
[LIK: Don’t pull your luck too far!]
TIM: Same to you. Are you begging me?
[LIK: Over my dead body]
Meanwhile, Meina and Chi Keung were trying to bring Ah Ling out of the office.
KEUNG: Let’s not disturb him, Ling. Tim’s busy, you’ve seen him now. We’ll get you to the hospital now!
LING: (shook off his hands) No! I’m not going anywhere!
[LIK: (heard her) Ah Ling? Yip Wing Tim, you’re so despicable!]
TIM: I don't know what you’re talking about!
[LIK: If you dare to hurt her, I won’t let you off! (hangs up)]
TIM: (to Keung and Meina) Let’s go to the hospital now, Cheung Chi Lik may be coming over!
KEUNG: Where should we go?
MEINA: I know of one good one!
TIM: (hurriedly) Okay, let’s go!

As Tim expected, Cheung Chi Lik turned up at Lik Tin Century half an hour later. The former was already waiting in the office.
TIM: Yes? Can I help you?
LIK: (furious) What have you hide Ah Ling? Hand her over, right now!
TIM: I know you are Ah Biu’s brother, perhaps we can sit down and talk it over?
LIK: Cut all those stupid preaching! I won’t be taken in so easily!
TIM: You can don’t believe me, but you have no reason to suspect your brother! Smoke-free city is your Gor’s dream and destroying Lik Tin would be akin to destroying his dream!
LIK: (snickers) What crap! Would you be so kind?
TIM: You won’t hear out my explanation?
LIK: You better hand over Ah Ling or you shall be sorry!
TIM: (crosses his arms) I shall sit here and see what you can do to me!
LIK: Don’t regret it! (makes a call) Do your job, guys!
Tim sat back and relaxes, smiling confidently to the latter.
LIK: I give you one last chance… hand Ah Ling over now!
TIM: Are you thinking of abducting my daughter again? (shakes his head) Think of something new!
LIK: (receives a call) Ok, good! (hangs up) (to Tim) You better check your share prices…
TIM: (press a few buttons and check his pc screen) Oh, you do have a hand at it, but… too bad…
LIK: Are you handing over Ah Ling now?
TIM: You better start worrying for yourself!
LIK: You won’t be able to bring Ming Electric’s share prices down again!
TIM: (nods) I agree… even if I could, I wouldn’t have the need to do that now…
LIK: (confused) What do you mean?
TIM: (looks behind him) Oh, my guest is here!
Chi Lik turns behind, and stared at the newcomer in shock, then he turns and stares at Tim…
