Tim and Chi Lik were talking in the former’s office…
TIM: (looks behind him) Oh, my guest is here!
Chi Lik turns behind, and stared at the newcomer in shock, then he turns and stares at Tim…
LIK: Master Chun? Yip Wing Tim, you...
TIM: I told you you should start worrying for yourself!
DONALD: (put his arm on Tim’s shoulder) We’re cousins after all! (to Lik) Foolish guy, do you think I would help an outsider instead?
LIK: You promised you would support my plan!
TIM: I guess I should give some time for you to talk! (exits)
DONALD: Let me be open with you, who do you think you are, Cheung Chi Lik? You almost ruined my Ming Electric!
LIK: I said I just needed more time!
DONALD: Don’t give me that! If you really have the confidence, you wouldn’t be here to beg Yip Wing Tim!
LIK: (argues) I’m not here to beg him!
DONALD: Then what? Threaten him?
LIK: That was exactly what I’m going to do! I have asked my men to…
DONALD: What’s the use of attacking his shares?! What is of utmost importance to me is to protect my Ming Electric!
LIK: Yip Wing Tim said he would solve the problem for you?
DONALD: He created the problem, of course he could solve it!
LIK: So could I! Just give me more… more time!
DONALD: You can wait but I can’t! Don’t blame me! Just blame your incompetence!
LIK: No, Master Chun! Listen to me, the game is not over yet…
DONALD: Stop your nonsense! I have made a pact with him, and it’s set! I’m just here to inform you, to stop your craziness!
LIK: I won’t give up my revenge!
DONALD: Fine! (throws a letter on the table) From this minute, you are no longer an employee of Ming Tai! (to his men) Let’s go!
Donald exits and Tim came back into the office. Chi Lik stood furiously staring at the letter.
TIM: So now, do you have anything to add? You are Ah Biu’s brother, so that makes you my brother. (extends his hand) I certainly welcome you to join Lik Tin so we can fulfill your Gor’s dream together!
LIK: (stares at him) Stop shedding crocodile’s tears here! Even if I need to go begging, I won’t go to your doorstep!
He turns his back and was about to storm out of the office.
TIM: Hold it! Rest assure Ah Ling is in good hands!
LIK: I won’t let it rest just like that!

[Mount Serene Hospital]
Tim went to the hospital to give Tin Ling a visit after he settled his things.
TIM: (opens the door quietly) Keung, is she alright?
MEINA: Not so loud, she’s fallen asleep. So is Flora.
TIM: (opens his eyes wide) Flora is sleeping on your laps?
MEINA: Uh huh, I guess she’s too tired!
TIM: (smiles) She didn’t give you all too much trouble, did she?
MEINA: Nope, don’t worry! She’s a good girl!
TIM: That I’m relieved! So, what did the doctor say?
KEUNG: The doctor said actually she can be discharged, because there’re only minor scrapes, but it seems that she’d lost her memories… she only remembers her aunt and uncle, and you!
TIM: And me? Why?
KEUNG: (sighs) I guess her memory trail stops at the times when you and her were in Taiwan. Is the company’s matter settled?
TIM: Yes, Cheung Chi Lik is gone… but I feel something uneasy about that… just that I don’t quite know how to point out it…
KEUNG: You mean he would seek revenge on you again?
TIM: That may be quite predicted, but there’s another thing… the whole thing seems so weird… everything appears to be so smooth-going…
MEINA: (grins) Isn’t that a good thing? Why are you fretting over it?
KEUNG: (going along) Yah… what’s there to be worry about?
TIM: I really feel there is something unusual going on… but I just can’t point it out…
MEINA: (laughs) You’re too tired, Tim! Take a rest!
He turns his head and gazes at Meina for a moment…
MEINA: What’s the matter?
TIM: (snaps out) Oh, nothing! But it must be exhausting for you to carry Flora, why not let me take over?
MEINA: Okay.
Meina carries Flora up gingerly and passes her to Tim.
TIM: I think we should let Ah Ling get discharged tomorrow if she agrees too.
KEUNG: Then where shall she go?
TIM: She can go back to her place!
KEUNG: But there would be no one to take care of her!
TIM: (chuckles) Then we shall leave you the honor then!
KEUNG: (blushes) I’m not referring to this…
MEINA: Referring to what?
TIM: (giggles) Referring to what?
KEUNG: You two are teasing me again!
Meina and Tim looks at each other and giggles.
MEINA: Don’t worry Keung, I can move in and help take care of her!
KEUNG: But I’m afraid she won’t accept you… she lost her memory and don’t remember anyone except… except Tim.
MEINA: I will be patient and I guess she will accept me as her friend…
KEUNG: Patient? That word doesn’t match with you, Meina!
MEINA: Are you trying to get back on me?
KEUNG: Well, if you say so!
MEINA: You want to quarrel with me now?
KEUNG: I know you like to quarrel…
MEINA: I don’t! It’s you who keeps picking on me, Keung. What’s wrong with Ko Meina? What’s wrong with me?
TIM: (puts his finger on his lips) Keep your volume down, people! Meina you just told me not to talk so loud…
MEINA: I’m sorry. All his fault! Let me carry Flora, Tim!
TIM: Huh?
MEINA: It’s almost ten now. Flora must go home and sleep now. Let’s make a move okie?
TIM: Keung, what about you?
MEINA: (grins) Let’s give him a chance to stay by her side…
TIM: That’s true, we won’t disturb you then Keung. We’ll come again tomorrow!
