They were also filming their new music video later. The song for their music video was Bubble gum. (Inspired by dbsk. Do not ask why…. Haha!! ) Which was also the name of their album.
Bubblegum was a little bit the same as Sweety. Not with gangs and police but with regular life. This song was written for kids who are being pushed to the limits.
Their music video shooting of Bubblegum was a series of different rooms. Each girl had something to contribute to the song.
Haemin’s room was white with colorful polka dots with a matching queen size bed. Haemin was dressed in pink tanktop and pink sweatpants holding a lollipop.
Nari’s room was Pink with different shades of pink polka dots with a white cake that had a Winnie the Pooh on the top. Nari was dressed in a white tanktop with thin white Capri’s. She also had a red Christmas ribbon on her head.
ChaeYun’s room was a practice dance room. ChaeYun was dressed in grey sweat pants, a grey tanktop and a pink zip up sweater.
Stephanie’s room was black room that had nothing in it. The windows had bars on them. Stephanie was just wearing white sweatpants and a white tanktop. To make sure that she blend into the room at all.

The video started out with ChaeYun, practicing in a dance room. She was all sweaty and tiring but didn’t give up. Words echoed through her head.
‘Work hard.’ ‘You need to practice more.’ ‘This isn’t good enough.’
ChaeYun was tired and took a rest at the wall, drinking some water.
The scene changed to Stephanie. She was locked up in the room with a desk and lot of books surrounding her. The words echoed.
‘This isn’t good enough.’ ‘You need 100%.’ ‘Work more.’
Stephanie set her pencil down in front of her already filled notebook as she stood up and went to look out of the barred windows.
The song started out with Nari singing.
‘Rise and Shine baby! It’s time to get up for a new day!
A new day for love and happiness to be spread!’
Nari jumped out of the cake throwing confetti around, singing more.
‘There’s always the bright side to the sad day coming ahead. Whether it’s the time you wake up or the moment before you sleep!’
The scene changed to Haemin’s room.
‘Wake up. Wake up. There’s always more to do. Whether it’s school or work, there’s always the happiness reaching you.’ She danced randomly around the room with the lollipop eating it. ‘No matter what happens, there’s always the bright side of the day to look forward to!’
The scene went back to ChaeYun.
‘What’s the point? No matter what you do, you can’t get to perfection. No matter how hard you push, you’ll never make it.’ ChaeYun smiled and got to up ready to leave the room. Until the door opened.
The scene changed against to where Stephanie was.
‘Day by Day things get worst. Even whatever you try, you can’t get it any better. You should just be happy with how far you can get. Go only to as far as your limit lets you.’ Stephanie headed towards the door, as it opened.
The scene was split in two, both doors opening at the same time as two ‘darkly’ figures appeared at the door.
‘What do you think you’re doing.’ they both said at the same time, ‘you’re no where near where you need to be. Get back to work.’
ChaeYun and Stephanie sang together.
‘No matter how hard you push us, we’ll never make it to where you want us to be. There’s no such thing as perfection because there’s always abnormalities. Working together, nothing letting go, we’ll make it pass, you’re not going to control us anymore.’ The two ran directly into the dark figures and into a new room.
The room was a white room that started to be painted into an outside scenery.
‘Come and take a break, now and then, it won’t hurt you.’ Haemin and Nari sang together.
‘Now the time has come to break free, relaxation is on it’s way.’ ChaeYun sang.
‘Growing and growing relaxation’s needed. Just like a bubblegum.’ Stephanie sang.
‘Bubble Bubble Bubble Gum! The bubble grows the more you blow. Bubble bubble bubble gum. The more you blow, the happier you get. Bubble bubble bubble gum. Time to rest is here. Blowing bubblegum. POP! It’s time to cheer!’ (Author: I am crazy… haha!!)
The girls sang the chorus as they turned around and saw the two dark figures again.
‘We need time for our own life. That’s what being a teen is all about.’ Stephanie sang.
‘Just sticking to one thing for a teen life kills us.’ ChaeYun sang.
‘Just blowing bubble gums takes your mind away!’ Haemin and Nari sang.
The girls sang the chorus once again.
It was the end and they all blew bubble gums of their own as it popped.

The girls were looking at the track list they had to sing for today. They were going to sing tracks 1-5 first. And then tracks 6-12 later. Then they were going to work on a repackage album.
A week later. Their album was released at the same time as After School’s album.

PS: If you guys didn’t understand the song. It’s just really talking about a parent or coach who pushes their student or daughter harder and harder to get to perfection which isn’t possible.
