We sat next to each other on the plane, with mostly me asking questions about it.
My family was going to be at the airport when we arrived.
The plane ride was long! Longer then the one to Singapore!! How could Stephanie stand this the whole time she was coming here! Was that the reason why she never wanted to visit home?
“Ah…. Unnie ah… Can we speak in English while we’re on here?” I asked. I was kind of curious to how unnie talks in English. She always talked in Korean whenever we were together…
“Umm… Sure.” She answered, shrugging
. “Unnie ah. Aren’t you excited to see your family?” I asked.
“Umm… Yeah… I guess.” She said softly.
She seems different… She feels so more distant.
“Passengers. Please have a sit and have your seat belt on. We are about to land in Los Angeles, California.” the Stewardess said over the mic.
The plane had a couple bumps as it landed.
We both grabbed our bags and headed off.
“Haemin ah!” I heard my mom call me.
“Umma!” I ran over and hugged her.
“Haemin ah!! We’ve all missed you so much!” Umma hugged, “We heard about your debut when we were over here.”
“The Flight to Minneapolis is about to leave in 15 minutes. All passengers to Minneapolis, please head to gate 56B.” a voice came on the intercom.
“I’ll see you at the end of vacation, Haemin ah.” Stephanie waved, “Have a good day Ms. Jeung.” Stephanie bowed and left.
“Who is she?” asked Umma as I hugged my two little sisters.
“She’s my unnie, Stephanie. She’s the leader of our group.” I smiled as I saw my luggage and I pulled them out and we headed out to the car.
I saw appa waiting at the car and hugged him.
“I miss all of you so much.” I smiled.

Once we got back to the apartment where we were living, I was going to sleep on the couch while my stuff was going to be kept in SoonMi’s room (The second youngest).
“When we heard from your boss, Soo Man, he said that he was going to let you go home for the 2 weeks of vacation you have.” Umma said, sitting down next to me on the couch.
“2?? I was told 3.” I was surprised.
“Well. It is three, that’s what he said, but he needs you back a week early just encase of anything.” Umma answered.
“Ohhh.” I nodded.
“Haemin ah. Get some sleep, tomorrow you got a long day ahead.” Appa smiled.
“Ne appa.” I stood up, “Night appa. Night umma.”
I was going to steal my little sister’s bed for the time because I didn’t want to sleep on the couch since there was a tv.

“Unnie! Unnie! Wake up!” I could feel someone shake me.
“Mhm.. 5 more unnie.” I turned to face the wall.
“No unnie!! I’m not your unnie! We’re going to go to Disney land!” the bed dipped.
“Ok ok. I’m up.” I threw the blanket to the side, sitting up and stretching. “We’re going to Disney land?”

I was wearing shorts with a tanktop, wearing a mickey ears cap, walking around.
“Unnie ah! Let’s go on the teacups!” my youngest sister pulled me over.
The whole day was us riding on rides, taking pictures with famous Disney Characters. I never want to go back to work.

The next day, the family headed out to the beach to swim in the ocean. I wasn’t going to go in because of… well… time of the month.
I had my phone with me, recording and taking random pictures of my family as they were joking around.
I helped me little sister build a sand castle and we left it there to be destroyed by the ocean.
This fun was probably only going to last a few days before every thing goes back to normal.

Well… Actually. Yesterday at the beach was the last fun day. My two sisters had to go to school, Umma and Appa went to work and I just stayed at home, on the computer and SMS to Donghae sometimes and Stephanie too.

It was my second week at home and I was going to be leaving tomorrow.
The whole time I was on vacation here, we did Disney land, the beach, random times going out to eat.
“Haemin ah!” Umma called me over from the dining room.
“Ne umma?” I went over to see her.
“I want you to tell me. How was the academy? Are they treating you right? I saw the tv shows you did and I saw some of the things that some of your members had to go through.” Umma burst out with questions.
“Wow… Umma… I thought you wouldn’t ask.” I laughed, “The Academy there is awesome. They are treating me right. I have my group to take care of me now when we’re over there. My leader, Stephanie, the girl you saw with me when the plane landed, she takes care of all of us.”
“But. All you girls are so small. Even you Haemin. I think you lost weight since I saw you.” Umma poked at me.
“Haha. Of course I lost weight Umma. I was a little too big. But I lost some weight and it’s all fine.” I smiled.
“B-” I cut Umma off.
“We’re all fine. I’m fine Umma. You don’t see me suffering from an eating disorder do you?” I smiled.
“No.” Umma smiled.
“Oh. Umma. You have to keep this a secret ok?” I smiled, taking out my phone.
“What is it?” Umma whispered.
“I got a boyfriend.” I smiled.
“Ohhh. Who’s the lucky guy to date my daughter?” Umma exclaimed.
“Umma!” I replied to get her to quiet down a little, “Here. His name is Lee Donghae. He’s a singer apart of Super Junior.” I showed her a picture of Donghae.
“He’s cute. He’s got good taste Haemin ah. If he ever hurts you, tell umma and I’ll fly right over and give him the lecture of his life!” Umma threatened.
“Haha. I will umma I will.” I smiled.
“You’d better get packing. Tomorrow you’re leaving. I’m going to miss you soo much. We all are.” Umma started to cry.
“Umma. I’m going to miss you too. When you moved without telling me. I thought you were mad at me.” I cried, hugging Umma.
The door to the front opened as Appa came in with my two sisters.
“Why is umma crying?” asked my youngest sister.
“I’m going to miss your sister. She’s leaving tomorrow.” Umma cried as we all hugged eachother.
“Tomorrow?! Unnie’s leaving too early!” Soonmi exclaimed.
“Sorry but I have too.” I hugged them.
I sighed and left to go and pack.

At the airport, I met up with Stephanie heading over to the plane to go to Korea. She looked tired still.
“Hey Unnie.” I smiled.
“Hey.” She gave me a soft smile, “We’d better get going.”
We waved goodbye to my family and headed onto the airplane to Korea.

Sorry! Never been to Disney Land. The only thing I know about there is the Teacups!
