This is mainly about AeYun’s life told by her. So it’s like she’s telling her autobiography. Please leave a comment if you’re confused about things.
THis is the first chapter of this new fic of mine.
I really hope you guys like it ^-^

“AeYun! AeYun! Where are you, you stupid brat!!?” I ran as fast as I could as I heard Mama calling for me.
“I’m here M-AH!” I remained helpless on the floor as my mother struck me hard with her hand.
“You Idiot! Look at this!! I told you to iron my shirt!! It’s all creasy!!” She yelled as threw her shirt at my face.
“You no good brat! Why haven’t you ironed it yet! Huh?! And the dishes haven’t been washed yet what have you been doing?! Answer me!!” She picked me up by my dirty top and glared at me with her furious eyes.
. “I-I was s-still doing the laundry.” I answered softly.
“Pathetic! Why is it taking you so long?! Hurry up and finish what you’re doing! Me and Kureno are going out to the meeting in the town hall. We expect the place to be clean!” Mama threw me to the side and I hit the wall.
She doesn’t like the fact that she’s my Mama, and my Papa doesn’t like the fact that he’s my Papa neither.
They don’t like it when I call them that. I’m supposed to call them by Mr. or Mrs.
I’m really hurt by this, they hit whenever I call them Mama or Papa. They hit me even more when I cry.
I slowly stood up as my ‘parents’ slammed the door. I heard the engine of their car leave and I limped my way back outside the collect the clothes. It was gonna rain soon...I better hurry up.
After successfully bringing the clothes in I started washing the dishes. I was very weak my hands kept on shaking. I ignored the numbness in my hands and feet and continued on with my job.
*growl growl*
I clutched my stomach as its growling got louder. I haven't eatn in 6 days, I'm so weak and it was really cold inside the house. The fact that I barely had any clothes didn't really help.
I shivered as I held myself together and continued washing the dishes.
[Author’s POV]
The rain was harshly pounding on the walls and windows of the dark and cold house.
The aura had suddenly become very tense.
AeYun had just finished all of her chores. She was about to walk up the stairs when the doorknob started to twist itself.
AeYun stood a few feet away from the door. She gulped as her eyes widened when voices started to appear.
“Yah, is she still awake?” a deep voice asked.
“Maybe, Maybe not. The fag had tons of chores to do and because she’s such a fucking slow ass she’s probably still awake.”
AeYun’s eyes widened even more as she began to recognize the owners of the voices.
“Mama?” she whispered as she trembled in fear.
“Gah! Stupid door hurry up and open!” her father cursed as the doorknob began to shake violently.
AeYun slowly walked backwards fearing the horde of wicked people behind the door.
Mutters, fierce yells, colourful words and curses kept on growing louder and louder.
AeYun clutched her knees at the far dark corner or the room as she silently prayed.
‘Lord, whatever happens to me please protect me. My time has come. I can feel it. I will not question your decision, but please protect Grandpa. Please let nothing happen to him!’
AeYun trembled even more when the townspeople began on banging on the door very loudly.
Tears slid down her dirty face as the thunder crackled ferociously in the sky. The rain had begun pouring down even harder. The banging on the door became more fierce and slowly, AeYun felt more tears roll down her delicate face.
‘Lord please, let nothing happen to Grandpa. I love him so much. Please let this all end quickly. I’ve been waiting so long. I want to see him again...I miss him so terribly.’
*Crash*
Ae Yun quickly made the sign of the cross as she saw the Yakuza’s, some of the townspeople and her parents glaring at her intensely.
“Finally...” her mother said in a threateningly dangerous voice. She advanced along with the others.
“We’ve been waiting so long to do this. You, you pathetic, worthless piece of crap! You’re finally going to HELL where you belong YOU MURDERER!” AeYun’s mother and father started beating her.
Hard punches and kicks were delivered towards the poor defenceless girl.
"MAMA,PAPA, PLEASE DON'T!" she begged, tears falling continuously from her red sore eyes.
"IDIOT! WE'RE NOT YOUR F*****G PARENTS! I DIDN'T GIVE BIRTH TO A F****D UP BRAT LIKE YOU!!" Her mother screamed picking her up and violently throwing her to the other side of the room.
AeYun flew and crashed to the vase on the table.
It shattered and collapsed unto her, pieces of glass went in her as she fell, hard.
*crack*
“Ahh!!” AeYun gripped her ribs as she fell on the cold hard floor. Her bones have badly cracked, she was already badly bruised but they didn’t show any sign of mercy.
AeYun’s eyesight began to grow even dimmer as the Yakuza’s started beating her.
Every single one of them swore and cursed at her like she was some kind of trash. They kicked her, tossed her around like some kind of rag doll. The women pulled her hair, the men brutally punched her. More of her bones began to break.
Curses were fired at her endlessly.
‘I don’t know...what I did to deserve this...but...I trust you...please...please let it all end.’ AeYun thought as tears rolled uncontrollably down her red and bloody cheeks.
A trickle of blood slowly slithered down from her forehead and dropped to the floor.
“AHHHH!!” a blood curling scream filled her ears as her vision gazed unto countless amounts of knives.

“AEYUN! AEYUN WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!!”
*gasp pant gasp pant*
AeYun panicked and whipped her head frantically in every direction.
“AeYun dear, gwenchana?”
Her gaze locked with her grandfather’s.
She could see the clear worried expression in his face.
“G-Gramps...*pant* I-I had-I had” she stuttered as her gaze began getting blurry from her tears.
“Shhh. It’s ok dear, there, there, don’t cry anymore.” Her grandfather began to lightly tap her back as she sobbed on his shoulder.
AeYun continued on sobbing as flashbacks of her past kept on reappearing in her mind as if it was a movie.
“Now, Now, C’mon dear. Stop crying...you’re wasting your tears.” AeYun looked up at her grandfather and smiled as he flashed his heart warming smile at her.
“Ahh, there you see! Come now, such a pretty girl like you doesn’t deserve to cry! Now c’mon up-and-at ‘em! We don’t have all day you know! The restaurant needs your delicious cooking skills!” he said as he gestured for her to get off of her bed and get ready.
“Hahaha, Arasou, Arasou Gramps! I’ll get ready.” AeYun smiled at her grandfather and got ready.
She walked into her bathroom , locked the door then turned on the shower. She quickly stripped off of her pj’s and went in the bathroom. After taking a shower she got out of the shower and dried herself. She wrapped a towel around her body tightly and then proceeded on drying her hair.
AeYun put her clothes on then tied her shoulder length hair into a ponytail and walked back into her room. She quickly checked her bag to see if everything she needed was there.
“Erm, ohk...Wallet...notebook, drawing pad, pen, pencils...ok! I’m good!” She happily chirped as she walked into the kitchen.
“Mmmmm! That soup smells great gramps!”
“Hahaha, thank you dear. Now hurry up and eat your breakfast! You don’t want to be late for your work!”
She nodded and ate her breakfast.
After eating AeYun washed the dishes, brushed her teeth, and said goodbye to her grandfather.
“Gramps! I’m gonna go now! Be careful when you go to the market! I heard some famous band was coming! Be careful for their fans, you know how stingy they get.”
“Arasou, goodbye dear!” AeYun’s grandfather came up to her and gave her an extra long hug. He kissed her forehead and started talking.
“Sweetie, be careful okay? I want you to promise me that you will always take care of yourself okay? I want you to live happily, always look at things positively and find the good in things and people. Live your life dear. Don’t let other people boss you around anymore Arasou! Always remember to pray for guidance when you’re lost. Live a good life sweetie...and take care of your grandmother’s necklace...okay?” her grandfather’s soft, old and weary voice brought worry and panic to her.
“Grandpa, why are you saying this stuff? I-”
“Sweetie, I just wanted to remind you. That’s all please...don’t worry. I’ll be fine! Remember okay sweeie! I love you. Bali, Bali, you’re gonna be late.” He smiled sweetly as he gestured for AeYun to get going.
Hesistantly, AeYun hoped on her bike and rode off to work.
[AeYun’s gramps POV]
*sigh*
‘AeYun...I love you...I love you so much...’ I thought.
I slowly got ready to leave for the market. I left my will near the altar and kneeled down infront of it.
I took out the velvet covered box out from my pocket. I traced the fine carvings on the jewellery with my wrinkly and old fingers.
I examined it for a long time, mesmerizing it’s beauty and put it back in my bag where my will was. I took out a picture of AeYun and traced it. I took out another picture with me and her in it. She looked so beautiful. I yet again took another photograph from my bag and examined it even more clearly.
A teardrop fell unto the photo as I felt my whole body shake.
It was a picture of me, my late wife, AeYun’s parents and AeYun herself. This picture was taken 10 years ago. 10 long painful years ago. Here everything was fine, AeYun’s parents adored her.
They didn’t hate her, they loved her to bits. This was the last picture left that had every single one of us. The rest were burnt by my daughter...AeYun’s mother.
This last remnant of our happy days meant the world to me. More of my tears fell unto the picture as I held the edge’s tightly in my hands.
This picture...was taken before the accident that changed all of our lives.
I took a deep breath as I wiped away tears. I carefully placed the photo into my bag along with the others.
I took out my Rosary and held it close.
I made the sign of cross and started pouring my heart out.
“Lord...last night you visited me. Along with my wife...you showed me...a heart breaking scene that twisted my heart. But I will not question your deed. I know what must be done, must be done.”
A flash back of my dream replayed in my mind as if it was a video.
“I pray to you Lord...Please, please protect my little AeYun. She has gone through so much...and I know that what will happen...will change her. But please, let someone walk her way...let someone be able to love her and care for her. She’s a truly wonderful child...and I was blessed to have her as a granddaughter.”
I sobbed harder as I tightened my grip on my Rosary.
“Let love find her way. Let us all guide her and protect her when she needs us the most. I beg of you Lord please let nothing happen to my dear AeYun...Please don’t.”
I kissed the cross on my rosary and placed it back in its case.
I made the sign of the cross again as I wiped my tears. I grabbed my bag and my hat. I carefully placed it on my head and walked to the market.
‘This is it...AeYun...take care my dear’
