[Miyoung’s POV]
“Eh?” I uttered as the phone in my hand suddenly disappeared.
“No, don’t call her!!” Minhwan whined.
“But-”
“NOO!” he roared as he held the phone real tightly.
“ I-I don’t want to!! I wanna see AeYun!!” he whined as he clutched the phone closer to him.
“Mianhe Minhwan, but you heard my Appa, please, I promise we’ll make it up to AeYun.” I smiled as I held my hand out
“Wonbin! Jonghoon! Come on guys you’re next. Minhwan get ready after this.” Shouted Appa as he opened the door and led Wonbin and Jonghoon towards the room where they were doing the photo shoot.
I felt something on my hands and saw Minhwan placing the phone on it.
“Huh?”
“Call her...I’m gonna go get ready.” He muttered as he miserably walked out the door.
I looked back at Minhwan as I saw a tear roll down his cheek.
She must really mean a lot to him.
I stared at the phone in my hand and reluctantly called AeYun.
“I hope she didn’t cook a lot...” I muttered.
*ring ring*
“Yabaseyo?”
“Hey AeYun!” I greeted.
“Oh! Miyoung Unnie! Annyeoung.” She replied happily.
“How are the guys?! Are you guys coming soon! Omo! I hope you guys like all the food I cooked!!” she chirped excitedly.
I instantly felt a pang of guilt as I heard the cheerful tone in her voice.
“AeYun-ah...Mianhe but...we can’t go.”
[AeYun’s POV]
“AeYun-ah...Mianhe but...we can’t go.” I heard Miyoung Unnie say with a hint of disappointment in her voice.
I felt my smile fade away and my plans shatter into little tiny pieces.
I was really looking forward to tonight...I wanted to see my Oppas smiling faces and hear their adorable laughs.
I put so much effort into cooking their favourite dishes and I spent a long time on planning what to wear...
“I-it’s ok! I-I understand!!” I smiled as I forced my tears to stop from falling.
I knew that she heard my voice croak as she waited for a long time before speaking again.
“AeYun-ah..Mianheyo...Really..Minhwan really wanted to go, so did me and the others...but the photo shoots taking longer than expected and we have a-”
“It’s ok!” I cut her off as I could feel the tears waiting to burst out.
“I understand! You guys are really busy..maybe some other time ok!!” I replied as I got ready to hang up.
“Uh-”
“I guess I better go put away all the food then! Bye!! Tell the boys I said good luck!!” I croaked as I hung up on her and put my cell phone down on the table.
I bit my lip and clenched my fist, trying to hold back the tears.
I’m such a pansy! Why am I crying anyways! It’s not like my plans haven’t been cancelled yet...what makes this one so special...
I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
Sure it was really disappointing to hear that they couldn’t come and I’ve put a lot of effort in trying to make this night perfect...but I shouldn’t be crying.
I made tons of food and it would be a waste to throw them away so I just kept them and stored them for tomorrow or something.
As I tried to forget about the disappointing news I started humming Sea of stars by aozorafantasiii.
It was a really nice song and it was one of my favourites.
I glanced at the counter and saw a parcel wrapped in colourful paper.
[Flashback]
“Oppa what are you doing here?” I asked as I saw Seunghyun Oppa grinning widely at me.
“CHARAN!!” he sang as he shoved a somewhat colourful thing infront of my face.
“What the-”
“I BOUGHT IT FOR YOU!!!” he chirped as he shoved the thing in my hands and walked inside.
“Erm...okay?...THANKS!” I smiled as I gave him a big hug and led him towards the kitchen.
“Wow! You’ve really outdone yourself! This looks excellent!”
Seunghyun Oppa walked towards the dining table as he drooled over the meals I had cooked.
“Yah! Make sure you don’t get any drool on the food!” I exclaimed as I set down the parcel on the counter and walked towards him.
“What brings you here?” I asked him curiously as he wiped the drool off the side of his mouth.
“Oh uhm, I was just heading home then I walked past this new shop and they were having this 50% off all items sale and then I was like ‘OH! SALE!’ then I walked in and saw that thing and I was like ‘AeYun-ah would love this!’ then I got it and bought and now here I am.” He grinned at me.
“Haha, you always loved sales. Well thanks again Oppa! ^^” I walked over to him and gave him a big hug.
“No problem!” he replied as he hugged back and let go of me.
“I should probably get going. I heard those FTI guys are coming over and I have an early shift tomorrow.” He explained as we walked towards the door.
“See ya later! By the way here’s my number.” He said as he handed me a small piece of paper with a series of numbers on it.
“Thanks Oppa! ^^! I’ll call you later!” I smiled as he waved and left.
[End of Flashback]
“I wonder what it is...” I muttered as I finished putting away all the food.
I walked over to the parcel and slowly started unwrapping it.
I gasped as I saw a beautiful, elegant and well decorated jewellery box.
“Omo! It’s so pretty!” I uttered as I traced the elegant and enticing patterns that swirled all over the box.
As I closely examined the beautiful jewellery box I noticed a little intriguing star pattern that stood out from the box.
“I wonder what this does..” I muttered as I grabbed the star and twisted it around.
After spinning it 5 times I opened the box and this adorable little fairy ballerina princess started spinning and dancing as the stunning melody played.
It’s had long flowing black hair, adorable fairy wings, a dress that was a mix of a ballerina’s outfit and a princess dress. It was a colour lilac with purple, it reached up to her knees and she was wearing these cute purple slippers with. Her head was adorned with a crown of flowers and she was very elegant.
As the music stopped I couldn’t help but smile like a fool as I walked towards my room with the box in my hands.
I placed the box on top of my drawer and grab the little box where I put all of my jewellery.
Carefully I placed all of my bracelets, earrings and necklaces inside my new jewellery box and closed the little box.
“Hrm..what is this?” I asked myself as I grabbed a blue post-it note that was stuck on the bottom of my drawer.
*GASP*
