Chapter 17
The betraying and Alex’s death
Alex p.o.v:
I sat at my desk when JaeJoong knocked at the door. I said “Come in” and he entered, after that he sat on the chair in front of me.
-What is it?
-No more “baby”? He asked.
-Not now. Maybe when we’ll be alone…
-We’re alone here too…
-No, you’re not, TOP said.
-Oh… I didn’t see you here.
-That’s because he was hiding, JJ.
TOP made an angry face as I called him “JJ”; he knew this was my way to spoil him.
-Chill, TOP.
-Sorry, Alex!
I laughed a little, because he was trying to call me “Alex” to make JJ jealous but his face didn’t show anything.
-Anyway, Alex… I wanted to tell you about that spot…
-TOP, if you’ll tell me your weak spot, that doesn’t mean I’ll tell you my spot.
-What are you talking about?
-Each demon has a weak spot… if you get hurt there, you’ll bleed a lot… sometimes that spot can kill you, I said.
-And what’s yours?
I started to laugh again.

He didn’t say anything. He came closer to me, looking into my eyes. I smiled as he kissed my lips and his mouth went to my neck. I moaned at the beginning but…
-Aaaahhhhhhh!!!
I felt something biting my neck. My eyes were teary because of the pain. JJ finished there and took a step back. I looked at him as the pain took over my body. I realized then he was a… a vampire… how fool I was not to figure out before! I fell on the ground and he fell on his knees. I looked at him, almost crying, I couldn’t believe it. I felt his silver blood running through my veins and I couldn’t breathe anymore... this was the ending, I could sense it. I looked into his eyes and my tears went down on my cheeks.
-J-JJ…
Then it all became black…

I did it… I bit her… I took a step back and I saw her eyes were teary. She was in pain and I bet my blood was damaging her body right now. She fell on the floor and I kneeled. She started to breath slowly and I knew she couldn’t bare it anymore.
-J-JJ… she whispered.
And then she remained like that, with her eyes opened, not breathing, not crying anymore. She died…

Andra p.o.v:
I was in my office that night, taking care of some papers. Suddenly, I felt a pain on my neck, a deadly pain. I knew she was dying… my sister was dying. I started to cry as I imagined her in pain, I couldn’t stand the image. I fall on my knees and I started to scream. Junki entered in my office along with Minwoo and Kyuhyun.
-Andra!! Are you alright?
I kept crying and I held him tight, I needed him then.
-Ju-Just hold me… please…
-Get out, he said!
The others got out of the room and he hugged me tightly.
-What happened?
-My sister… is dead…

Later that night, JaeJoong came back with Changmin and Aaron. They entered my office as I was sitting in my chair. It was obviously that I cried and they had a confused face.
-Good job, Changmin and Aaron. Please leave me alone with JaeJoong now. We’ll talk tomorrow.
-Yes, your highness.
They got out and I was face to face with him. He didn’t look at me and I wanted to see his eyes. I wanted to know if he cried.
-I never thought you could really do it, I said.
-Why not?
-Don’t you love her?
