-Uh, are you ok? Denisa asked.
He was really that scared of us? Why? I mean, we didn’t do anything…
-What’s wrong with you? Andra asked.
The guy pointed behind us so we turned to see whose coming. Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! It was him! God, he looks so good!! One of the schools’ gang was coming towards us and I was hypnotized by him… I guess you’ll say that I am another crazy girl who’s in love with a bad guy and who likes the bad guys… well… I do! But he saved me once and smiled to me after that… that’s what made me fall for him. I was still dreaming so I didn’t see that the girls moved instantly away from their way. Maybe they thought I will run too or something like that, but I didn’t. Don’t get me wrong, I was so scared because their men beat girls too, so the fact that you’re a girl isn’t an excuse for them. Yes, they really were bad guys with cold hearts maybe, but I knew there will come a day when their hearts will melt.
-Move! TOP said with cold voice.
-Uh… I… uh…
-Didn’t you hear him??? Kang In yelled at me.
My legs were shaking, still… I didn’t move.
-Well, maybe she’s in love with someone, Chun said approaching me.
-I… uh… no, I…
-Let’s take a better look at you, he said.
He grabbed my chin and I heard Denisa screaming. Chun looked at her and then back at me, smirking.
-I wonder how these lips taste like…
But I was petrified, I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t move at all. Aaahhh!!! Park Yoochun, don’t steal my first kiss!! As he was leaning forward to kiss me, I felt a hand on my lips and Chun’s lips touched the hand.
-Not yet, Chunnie!
-Yahh!! Hiro, move!!
-Both of you stop it!! TOP yelled.
Chun and Hiro moved away and I saw SuSu, smiling. I knew why: Chun and Hiro were the players of this gang and they were always fighting for girls.
-Didn’t you hear when I told you to move?? TOP asked me with a cold but angry face.
-Uh… sorry!
So, I finally ran! I got to the girls where and Andra gave me a slap on my head.
-Ouch!!
-You’re so stupid! They could have hit you! She said.
I looked at her and then back at TOP. His gang had 5 important members: SuSu, Chun, Hiro, Kang In and Ki. Ki (HongKi was his real name) was more like a brother for TOP, that’s why he didn’t fight as much as the others did. TOP’s gang had their men, who weren’t in our high school but could enter there so easily, and a very important leader, which helped the school to improve. Their territory was the left side of the Han River, while the other side of town, starting from the right side of the river, was Chiro’s gang territory. Speaking about Chiro’s gang, he and his friends arrived there too. They looked a little at TOP and his gang and because they didn’t want to fight they stood there.
-What the fuck were you doing yesterday there?? Huh?? Didn’t I tell you that you’re not one of my men anymore?? TOP yelled.
The guy was trembling, he knew he did a mistake going there and now he’s going to pay.
-Can I beat this asshole? Kang In asked.
-No, I’ll beat him!!
When TOP was about to hit him, a hand stopped him.
-Now, now, shall we calm down? Chiro said looking at the ground.
-What the fuck do you want??
TOP was very close to hit Chiro, but Jae, Min, Jun, Jiro and Mike (Chiro’s friends and very important members of his gang) put out their guns, directing them towards TOP’s head while the others pointed their guns to Chiro’s friends.
-We won’t solve anything like that, Chiro said.
-What do you suggest?
-Tell your friends to put down their guns and we’ll do the same.
-Fine!
Everyone did as they were told and Chiro looked into TOP’s eyes now.
-I asked him to go there. Do you have a problem with it?
-You piece of crap… you’re lucky there are too many people here otherwise I would beat you until you’ll bleed… or worse… until you’ll die!
Chiro smirked as TOP left wit his friends. I couldn’t believe that Chiro protected someone. He was a little more cold hearted than TOP. So I told the girls we’ll see later and wanted to leave so I can listen what’s Chiro saying to that guy. But Delia stopped me.
-You know… we do care about you, but we won’t risk our life to save you from Chiro or TOP, ok?
I nodded and went near them. I tried to pretend I’m waiting for someone.
-Why… why did you h-help me?
-Well, I saw that you fight really well and I don’t know why TOP kicked you out from his gang, but if you want you can join ours.
-Uh… can… can I think about it?
-Sure, take your time… what?? Chiro yelled while he turned towards me.
-Ahhh!! No… I… I…
-You what?? Min asked with his gun still in his hand.
-I… I was w-waiting for someone…
-Yeah, right!
Chiro grabbed my arm and start walking towards the entrance.
-Ahhh, Chiro-ah… it hurts!!
He pulled me against a wall and they all got around me.
-Do you know what we do to girls like you? Mike asked.
-Uh… what do you mean “like me”?
-Who want to know everything and mess around with our business, Jun said.
-Uh… I… I was waiting for…
-You were spying us!! Jae yelled.
-No!! No, I… please, don’t hurt me!
-Yahh!! Let her go!!
They turned around and I saw Andra staying there with a mad face.
-Choi Andra…
-Jung Yunho… or do you prefer Chiro?
-What do you want?
-Let her go, or you know what will happen…
He looked a little at her and then he turned to face me.
-You’ll get away this time only with this… Stay out of our business, ok??
And they left…
-It’s the last time I’m saving your ass, got it??
-Yes…
Andra knew how to fight, that’s why Chiro never messes with her. Actually, no one messes with her. Five boys were about to beat and rape Delia once and she kicked their asses. Since then, both gangs want Andra to join them. But she doesn’t want, that’s why she doesn’t take sides.
She left and I was standing there looking at her leaving. I went back to my class just to face Min there. Usually, in my class (4A- because I’m in the 4th year of high school) there’s Min, SuSu and Ki and all the girls, except Andra. She is in the same class (5A-last year of high school) as Jae, Chiro, Hiro and Chun. I sat on my chair while I felt something hitting my shoulder. I turned around and saw Min smirking at me. I saw a paper on the floor so I took it and read it.
“I’ll keep an eye on you just to make sure you won’t mess around like that again…”
I turned to face him and I made an ugly face which pissed him off. After this hour I had English course and this time, I was with Delia, Chun and TOP in the same class, because this was like an extra course. So I wanted to sit next to Delia, but she already had a classmate next to her. I looked around and the only free seats were the one next to Chun and TOP. Even though they were in the same gang, Chun can’t stay next to TOP. Actually, no one dares to sit next to TOP so I had to go and sit next to Chun.
“Great, this will be an interesting hour…” I said to myself.
I went there with a semi-scared face as he smirked at me.
-Well, well… what do we have here? He asked.
-Keep your hands off!! I yelled seeing him getting closer to me.
Everybody, except TOP, looked at us a little, but Chun scared them, giving them a death glare. Delia saw where I sat and she was scared and shocked.
-So… shall we continue? You see, we’re in the back of the class and nobody will look at us because I scared them…
-Yahh!! Leave me alone!!
-Aish, you sure are loud…
I was really lucky; he left me alone after that. School ended soon and I went to pick up my stuff from my locker. The girls already left and I was alone. As I walked out through the gate, I saw TOP talking to the guy from this morning. I wanted to leave, but I was really curious so I approached them to hear what they were talking about.
-Good job, Aaron.
-Thanks, man. Do you think it’s necessary to erase my tattoo?
-No, you’re still part of this gang. Just be careful and try to find out as much as you can, ok?
-Yes, boss!
I was scared and shocked! I heard enough and I left before they could catch me. As I was heading home I saw Chiro and Jae walking together to Jae’s house, which was at 3 houses from mine. This was my chance to talk to him. I started to walk behind them but at a certain point they turned around. Chiro grabbed my neck and pulled me against a tree.
-What do you want now?? He yelled.
-Yahh!! I just want to talk to you, please! Don’t hurt me!!
-What do you want to tell us? Jae asked smirking.
-That guy, from this morning, Aaron… he’s a spy… he has orders from TOP to infiltrate your gang and spy on you.
Chiro released me and now he was looking at me suspiciously.
-Why should we trust you? Jae asked.
-Because I don’t have any reasons to lie to you…
-You like that guy, why are you helping us? Chiro asked me.
-I… no, I don’t like him…
-We saw how you look at him.
-I… does it matter? He’s not playing fair now, besides you never did such a thing to him.
-What should we do? Jae asked Chiro.
-Well, I don’t see why we shouldn’t trust her… so we’ll set a trap for that fucking bastard so they won’t find out that she told us. What’s your name?
-Alex…
-Well, Alex, it seems like we’re indebted to you.
-Thanks, sugar! Jae said.
And they left. I was alive!! And I know that I’m “betraying” TOP, but anyway he won’t look at me that way… ever…
