It was dark already. All of us had eaten s'mores as a substitute for dinner. I have to admit, though, it was better than the uncooked fish that Ayumi and I had 'cooked' up.
Standing up, I threw the blankets of my sleeping bag off my body and opened the flaps of my tent. The moon outside was full and radiant white light shone solely from it. Small gray clouds passed by occasionally, but disappeared soon after. Making my way out, I sat down on the dirt, drawing my knees up to my chest.
"Hey." Kibum stepped out from the darkness beyond the woody trees and took a seat next to me, leaning back on his hands.
"Hey..." My heart skipped a beat at his appearance. That's when I knew. It was time for my confession. "Look... I have my answer for you already..."
Kibum didn't look at me, but I could tell he was listening, nervous about what my reply would be. But I assure you, Kibum, you're gonna like it.
"Well... Love means a lot to me. I've changed for it, I've felt for it, and I've hurt for it. So I will submit to it and say yes." I closed my eyes tightly, not wanting to see his reaction, just in case he's already stopped loving me.
"Really?" I heard a small rustling sound.
"Ummm.... Yeah..." I opened both of my eyes to find Kibum's face close to mine, his breath tickling my cheek.
"Thank you," he whispered, leaning in for the long-awaited kiss.
It was passionate, yet expressive at the same time. I could tell that all the promises were sealed solely into it and all the love and feelings poured in as well. I tried my best to express myself as much as possible and open up, just so Kibum can understand how I feel about him.
So it was there, during the beautiful, cool, moonlit night that Kibum and I had our first kiss and grew closer together...
~2 years later...~
"Haha! I remember every single detail like a painting etched in slate forever." I walked next to Kibum at the university we attended.
"Me too. And then under the moon, you replied to me... I was so surprised since I thought that you still clung onto Yunho..." Kibum acknowledged.
"Really? Well, to tell you the truth, I had already cleared things up with him. We're just friends now. He's really happy with Seul Gi. I called him just yesterday and he said they were both going to Stanford!"
"That's tight. Anyways, Jae and Ayumi are waiting for us at Cafe Latte. We better get going. It's considered a double date!" Kibum looked at his Calvin Klein watch.
"Oh, yeah! I almost forgot!"

The day was perfect. I lay in my bed in the dorm I shared with Ayumi. She's already sound asleep, but I can't get any rest. I mean, after this fun-filled day of playing at the beach after coffee, I'm way too excited for what's in store tomorrow!
We stayed out until 9, just running around wildly and having romantic, personal moments. Kibum and I even went spying on Jae and Ayumi, to find them locked in a major lip lock! Kibum and I had some pretty close times too.
Thank you, God, for blessing me with this wonderful, beautiful life and a sweet, caring boyfriend. I love my best buds, Jae and Ayumi, and all these coincidences that have happened led to something breathtaking. I hope to fulfill all my wishes later on in life and be able to truly grow with my love, Kim Kibum...

Author's Note: Oh, yeah, I know.. Crappy ending, huh? I could've done more, but I was too excited about my next story. It's not as deep as this one. It's lighter and more humorous... So yeah.. Thanks for reading this story!
