It is starting to get dark outside as Jiro and Hebe left the office building.Jiro held on Hebe's hand as he lead her to his car.Hebe was surprised the differences in his life and she could not understand it.She knows,she still have a lot to know about this man.What she knew about him is just the surface.It would probably takes a lifetime to really get to know this man.
They drove in the city and then took the highway out to the city,and down by the beaches.The moon is starting to come out and the stars are out already.Jiro took Hebe to a nice restaurant by the water.The restaurant was elegant with a nice view of the ocean.You can hear the water as it splashed his way to the big boulders that watch the shore.
Hebe felt the wind on the shoulder as she shivers when the wind blew.
"I am sorry,you must be cold." Jiro said as he took out his suit jacket and drape it over her shoulder. He put his arm around and pulled her closer to his body.
"No I am fine." Hebe said."This is a really nice place."
"I love it here,and I love the ocean." Jiro said.
The hostess took them in right away as she ushered them to their table.it seems like they knew who Jiro is.He must have frequented this place before,for the hostess eyed her differently.
As they are sitting and looking at each other and Jiro held her hands."So what have you been doing lately?" he asked."You are in college now,right?"
"Yes,I am a freshman now.I am taking up a business course." Hebe said.
"That is good.And your parents?" Jiro asked."Are they well?"
"No my Dad is sick right now,that is why I am looking for a job." Hebe said."But my Mom is fine."
"Oh I am sorry to hear that.Is he in the hospital?" Jiro asked.
"No,he does not want to stay in the hospital,but the doctor has been checking on him.I am getting worried for he has been sick for a while now." Hebe said.
"I know a good doctor and a specialist,maybe you can persuade him to go and see him`." Jiro said."I'll tell him about your Father."
"Thank you but I have to wait what his doctor will say first.he just have his test done." Hebe said."We just met and I am pouring out my problem to you already."
"It is alright,I love hearing about you." Jiro said as Hebe blushed."Still blushing...you are still my sweet innocent girl." as he smiled at her.
"How about you? What have you been doing lately?" Hebe asked."You still have not told me why you left me two years ago."
"It is a very long story,it will take whole day and whole night for me to be able to to tell you without missing a thing." Jiro said."And I intend to have that time in your life soon."
"How is your sister and your parents?" Hebe asked.
"Ariel is fine and she will be getting married soon.My Dad has been sick lately but my Mom is fine." Jiro said."I have to take over so soon because he cannot do it anymore 24/7"
"Seems like both have he same stories.I hope there is no girls on the side." Hebe said.
"Yes Mam,there is no girls on the side.I have been faithful to you all this time." Jiro said."I hope you are too."
"No.nothing like that,I only have one on my heart and that is the guy who left me more than two years ago."Hebe said." He is still the one for me,like I promise."
They have dinner together.They ate seafoods and pasta.The food was great and the service outstanding.After dinner they walked in the sandy beach ,hand in hand.They talked ,they kissed and they reinforced their promise to each other.
"I love you Hebe,I guess you are the one for me all along." Jiro said.
"I love you too Jiro,I just knew it,that it was you the first time I met you." Hebe said.
And as the moon shines and stars sparkles at night,as they witness the two people in love kissed with sounds of the waves ...as Jiro and Hebe together at last,,,
