She must be all grown now,maybe she is quite a lady now.He wants to see her again,missed her crazy all those times,that he was on assignment.He should have told her ,who he really is.But he have to keep his identity unknown from anybody,until the case was solved.And finally he was able to get the justice on Rainie's death and finally have a closure on that part of his life.And he have been hoping that Hebe will be a part of his new start in life,only to find her gone.
His thoughts came to presence,when he heard a voice on the intercom.Tiffany is here.She have been his childhood friend.Everybody thought that they will end up together,but then they were very young then,and Tiffany fell in love with Ethan and him with Rainie.And now,Rainie is gone and so is Ethan,she caught him cheating on her.Now Tiffany is after Jiro,though,both of them knew that they don't love each other.Their parents will be happy ,if they end together.
The door open,as Tiffany walked in.She was beautiful with fair complexion and quite tall.She walked with such grace,and everything about her,shows sophistication and good breeding.She smiled at Jiro,more like a forced one,likewise,Jiro smiled back at her.
"Tiffany,what brought you here?" Jiro said as Tiffany gave Jiro a kissed on his cheeks.
"I was wondering,if you have time to spare for me?" Tiffany said."I have to attend a party tonight,and I don't have a partner.It will be awkward to go there alone,after all everybody is either with their husbands or their boyfriend."
"Oh,as you can see,I am very busy today.In fact I have a meeting until seven tonight." Jiro said.He never wanted to attend to one of those parties.Surely by now,she should know.
"That's what I thought so,but your Dad assure me that you can come with me.And I already told them that both of us are coming.It will be too bad,if we don't show up,and people will start to talk" she said candidly."You don't want them to start talking about me behind my back,do you?"
Jiro looked at her and think.If he said no,then his Dad will be after him,which will be worst.And yes Tiffany's friends are the worst kind.He does not even know,why she still hang out with them,when all they want to do is crucify and bury her.
"Alright ,I 'll go with you,but after my meeting." Jiro said."And I want you to be ready when I pick you up at nine.And we are going to stay there not more than an hour.You know how I hate those parties." Jiro said.
"Yes Boss.Thank you Jiro,I know,you will never let me down." as she gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheeks."My Dad is right about you.Maybe I should just marry you."as she smiled.
Jiro shook his head,"You know and I know,that it will never work between the two of us.And I already love somebody else."
"How come I don't see her around?" Tiffany asked."You have come back for a year and I have never seen you with a girl.Or is it a very very deep secret."
"One of these days,I am just gonna surprise you" Jiro said with a grin"You'll see her soon enough."
Tiffany looked at him and gritted her teeth.He have to show the girl first to her and then maybe she'll quit,but for now..Jiro is hers...all hers for taking ....she thought.
Selina gave Hebe the address of the company,where her cousin works.She was on the elevator as she went to the Personnel Department to apply.She looked at the board for any possible opening and there was a couple of position,that she can apply.She filled out her application.She was told that she will be called for interview later on.Hebe sadly walked out of the office building after giving her application form.
Just as Hebe was walking out,Jiro caught a glimpse of her,as he stared at her.He just knew that it was Hebe,as he tried to ran after her but lost her in the crowd.He was disappointed,unable to reach her on time.
"The lady that just walked out,where did she go? what department did she go?" Jiro asked ,all anxious and excited now.
The security checked on the log,as Jiro looked at it too,until he saw her name..Hebe Tian Fu Zhen .She went to Personnel Department,as his heart race.
"Thank you" he said as he walked to Personnel to check who did she go to.
Everybody stood up when he walked in the Department.The Big Boss coming around unexpectedly.Everybody have this big question mark on their face.
"There was a lady,who just came in here,her name is Hebe,who did she see and what did she do here? Jiro asked the receptionist.
"Oh that girl,she just handed me her application.She was applying for a job here." she said,as she took out her application paper.
Jiro took Hebe's paper and brought it with him.Later he called the Personnel Manager,as he gave her instructions.Finally he found her,and he knew this time,he will never lost her again...as he smiled...
