"Hello,Ella ,this is Chun." he said."I was thinking if i could invite you for dinner tonight."
"Oh,I am sorry Chun,but I have an early appointment tomorrow.In fact I am in a hurry to go home now,for I have an early start tomorrow." Ella said.She was happy that she can say no to him now.Let him ran after her,if he really wants her.
"Tomorrow is Saturday,in case you have forgotten." Chun said."And what is so important ."
"Oh Jiro have invited me to their resort for the weekend.I heard it is quite a drive ,so we have to have an early start." Ella said.
"Ahhh,so it seems both of you are getting serious.Does my friend have any chance?" Chun asked.
"Did he asked you to fish for an answer?" Ella asked."I think it is between Jiro and me,of whatever is my answer to that."
"I see,what is not to like,he is rich ,handsome and free to roam whenever he wishes." Chun said sounding so bitter."Some people have all the luck in the world and some could have none."
"What are you talking about?You got whatever he got and maybe more." Ella said.""You people you got more than any other people have and you are still bitter."
"Who says I am bitter?I am not." Chun said."Alright enjoy yourself.Good bye Ella." as he hung up.Chun thinks that it is about time that he have a heart to heart talk with his friend and he knows just where to find him.
Ella and Hebe was picked up by Jiro and Arron from their house.Ella plainly omitted from Chun that Hebe and Arron was with them.Chun sounded jealous when he learned that she is going out with Jiro.If only Chun knows the set up,and the true relationship with Jiro.She and Jiro will only be friends and he confied to her his true feelings.They just enjoyed each other's company and enjoyed each other friendship.Arron and Hebe on the other hand has been progressing into something deeper.
They arrived at the resort by lunch time.They have the penthouse suite as they settle themselves in the suite before venturing out.Hebe and Ella freshen themselves up.
Jiro and Arron was waiting in the bar for them.
When they walked in,another couple was at their back and Ella was surprised to hear Chun's voice on her back.
"So there you are?" Chun said."I have been waiting for you."
Jiro came."I didn't know you are coming here today Chun....and Selina?" he added in the end.as he looked at both of them.
"It was a last minute thing.I am sure you don't mind if me and Selina crashed in with you in your penthouse suite?" Chun asked.
"Of course not." Jiro said,looking at Chun and then Selina."You did not bring your boyfriend with you?"
"Ah he is busy in his job." Selina said."Some people have responsibilities while some got none." as she looked somewhere like she is bored.
"We are just about to go out,unless you want to rest in the suite first...you can just get a key in the lobby.." Jiro said.
"No,I think we better join you.They say the more the merrier right Ella?" Chun asked.
Ella just nodded her head,as she looked at Jiro and Arron.Hebe just smiled at them.
Jiro drove them around the resort.They have lakes and beaches,there are golf course that runs along the resort.There was a spa and an Olympic size pool and yes they also have trails to the hills .They end up having lunch at the clubhouse.Hebe and Arron went to walk around and Chun and Ella and Jiro and Selina was left behind.The atmosphere was awkward and Ella couldn't stand it,as she stood up,like wise Chun followed behind her,and Jiro and Selina was left to themselves but totally ignoring each other.
"I didn't know that Arron and Hebe are with you?" Chun asked."You didn't tell me.I got nervous."
"What does it supposed to mean?" Ella asked.
"Nothing,I didn't mean it the way it sounded,I am sorry." Chun said.
"Yes you better be sorry Chun.What brought you here today?You never told me that you are coming here also."Ella said.
"I just want to surprised you ,that's all." Chun said.
"Now I am surprised what's next?And why brought your cousin with you? Why is Selina here?" Ella asked.
"She also have vested interest just like me." Chun said."Did Jiro tell you about them?"
"No ,he haven't told me yet,but I have a feeling that here is something between them.He totally changed when she is around." Ella said.
"I am glad,you are so observant.I guess I don't have to explain it to you." Chun said."Now I have to talk to Jiro,really have to talk to him heart to heart,man to man." as he stared at her.Ella could not explain why she feel that it has something to do with her and Selina.Her heart was beating so fast and she felt her cheeks colored...
