Ella woke up as soon as the sunlight,hit her face.It sure looked bright outside.She felt like staying under the covers for a while.She turned on her side,and moving around gave her some discomfort now,with the growing baby inside of her.Today it just feels good to stay in bed and do nothing....
She looked at Chun by her side,who is still sleeping.He looked like a baby sleeping by her side,so quietly.And yes he still looked good and his sight can still melt her heart after all this time.He got his hands on her growing tummy,as the baby quivered inside of her.It sure feel nice to have you husband arms around you and it feels so comfortable and yes so warm,and she felt like staying his arms forever.
She can still remembered the naughty grin in Chun's face as he asked her to guess where they are going last night.And the happy look on his face,as she have this surprised and excitement on her face when they arrived last night.She never expected this.A mini vacation he said before the big event in their life,before the baby arrives .He remembered his promise to her,that he will bring her back here,the place where they have their own new beginning.
Chun has changed a lot now.He is more affectionate,more loving and yes more open to her than before.She has loved him before when he is do distant and aloof and quite unpredictable and sometimes difficult.But she is loving him more now,and yes more than ever.Being with him everyday ,is like a shower of blessings from above.The Wu men is surely changing and evolving ...and yes for the better.....
Chun stirred as he pulled Ella closer to her,and as he wrapped his arms around her big waist.it sure is nice to wake up every morning with a warm body by your side.And it feels really nice when it is the woman that you love and cherish ,as he smiled at her.
Good morning,Are you hungry now?" he asked.Ella has been always hungry lately,with the growing baby inside of her.And even Hebe joked that she eats like a horse nowadays.
"A little bit.I was about to get up,but I remembered we never brought anything with us.We might need to go out to buy our supplies." Ella answered.
"Why don't we go down and check what do they have downstairs." Chun said as he got up and helped Ella up from the bed.
They went down with Chun's arms around Ella,still in their sleep wear.The place still looked the same from the last time they saw it.And as Ella opened the fridge....it is full and well stocked.
"Wow this place can feed the whole town.I am surprised." Ella said with a smile."You sure ,you don't have anything to do with this?"
Chun smiled..."I sort of asked them to do some shopping for us.I know that you are always hungry.And we don't want the little one be hungry inside of you.I just want to make sure that we have enough supplies.Though I don't mind getting up to the next town early in the mornig or late at night to feed my hungry wife." he said.
Ella smiled at the thought....Surely her husband is now a changed man...and she is loving it....
After breakfast,they walk around the resort.The doctor said that it is good for the baby .And Ella needs to a little bit of exercise ,,to facilitate easy labor,when the time comes.
Spring is in the air.They can feel the cool air around them,as Ella hugged on her sweater.She saw the buds on the plants,and the new spurts of life in the trees around them.Spring always signifies a new beginning,a new start.She looked at the horizons in front of her,and the sky is blue, so blue,without the signs of dark clouds hovering before them.Ella took in the fresh air and close her eyes as she made a wish....that all of this is not just a dream and the real truth.She opened her eyes and yes she is still standing to where she was....there are still blue skies in the vast horizons, there are still buds of flowering plants and the spurt of life in the trees.And as she looked at her side,Chun is still by her side,holding her.....For sure there will be rough roads ahead,there will some hard days and bumps along the way.....But she knows she will ready...for her new role as a Mom...and as long as Chun is the Dad....
Ella smiled at Chun as she stared at his eyes and moved forward to give him a kiss......A kiss full of love and understanding and yes respect for this man,who happens to be her husband.
"Did I tell you,that I love you very much?" Ella said.
" Yes,but I will never get tired listening to hear you say it.And it doesn't matter if you say it a hundred times a day.I will still love to hear you say it." he said as he kissed her back..."And I love you much more that you could possibly know."
The baby in her tummy agrees as she moved inside......
