She was sluggish,when she got up,it is like living in a dream world,and having to live in the real world at the same time.She got ready to go to work,as she have her coffee before leaving the house to wake her up from her dreamland...
As she sat on her desk,everything is still quiet.She let out a yawn.She wondered how she is going to greet Chun today,after they went out.It will be hard to look in his eyes,and just ignored the whole thing.But she is still looking forward for his arrival in the office,more so today than before.
But morning went by without Chun,passing by.Does it mean,he won't be coming to the office today?.Ella thought.How come no word about it from last night?He never said anything.Did she expect Chun to be telling her his whereabouts?It is not that they have some kind of relationship nor he was even interested in her.But somehow,she wished,he could have told her something,instead of making her wait for him..
Days that followed and no Chun that showed up in the office for one week.Ella's heart was down already on Friday afternoon.No calls,no sight of Chun from anywhere,no messages,like he was gone just like that.She heard news,that he went to one of their base office in Hongkong.And after a week,of not hearing from Chun,Ella just have enough of his silence,maybe he is not interested,and does not even care for her.So much for her dreams coming to reality,and so much for Prince Charming coming to her life.She is back from being the plain office girl Ella,that everybody knew in the office.
And Monday morning came,and Ella was in her desk again as always.Although she is telling herself,that she does not want to see him,she knew that it is the opposite.She wil still be happy with just the sight of him.
And by nine o clock,Chun walked in with a bright smile in his face,and Ella barely lift up her head to look at him,as Chun glance at her.He was disappointed,when she barely acknowledge his presence.He thought that she will have a smile in her face when she sees him.
He went straight to his office as he started his day.Somehow,Ella seems to ignore his presence today,and it did bother him.He decided to call her.
The phone rang as Ella answered the phone,not having any idea who is on the phone.
"Hello,Ella speaking." she said in greeting.
"Uhmm,Ella,I thought I knew somebody by that name." Chun said with a smile in his lips."So how are you?"
"I am fine I guess" Ella answered.
"Not in the chatting mood this morning are you?" he said."Did you have a bad night?"
Ella's temper was about to flare up,how dare him,after not hearing from him for a week and then coming back like I want to welcome him with open arms.Well he have something coming.
"No more like a nightmare." Ella said with a dry tone. And Ella can here Chun laughing.
"So who was on your dream,the big ugly wolf." Chun said
"No more like the big ugly boss.I was mad at him for not saying anything that he will be gone for a week." Ella said.It is too late to hold herself,she was always like that,always saying what she feels and not holding and backing off.
"Oh so you're mad at me for not telling you,that I will be gone for a week.Why did you miss me?Did you miss me that much,that is why you are mad?" Chun asked.
"Of course not.Whatever you do with your time is yours.Hey you are the Boss here not me.I am just an employee.And I have to go,I have a work to do." as she hung up before Chun can say anything.Chun just shook his head and smiled.he finds Ella's reaction and behavior so amusing as he thinks of something to appease her anger...
The whole day went by,and Ella never heard anything from Chun,as she packed up her things and getting ready to go home.She decided to go home early today.Hebe will be home early,they can go out tonight.She just needs to go out.
The meeting was getting late as Chun looked at his watch.It is almost six o clock and the Mr Yu is still talking non stop like there is no tomorrow.The whole thing is boring Chun at wits end.He just want it done and finish so he can call it a day.It took another hour to wrap up the whole thing,and finally Chun was free,as he stepped out of the conference room.He passed by Ella's desk and found it empty.She was gone for the day,and he was disappointed.He has been looking forward in spending time with her for the whole weeks,only to find her mad at him and now,she's gone.he just have to cancel the reservation he have made for them for tonight...as he walked back to his office looking.
