And soon enough,Chun came as he greeted everybody,and took a glance on Ella who was all head on her work.She never look up nor lifted her face from her work when he pass by,and this irritated Chun,as he also try not to look at Ella once again.
When Chun was in the office,he have the urge to call Ella just like yesterday,but he knows,he will just get a brush off.he called his secretary to check his schedule for today as he contemplate and plan on something tonight.
Although Ella ignored Chun,she was hoping a call from him,but she felt so let down,when he never call.She was disappointed,and she knew that she have no right to be mad at Chun,but she can't help herself.He might not call on her anymore after the brush off from yesterday,when he called.
The day was almost over,as Ella was trying to finish up her work.And then she got a phone call from her supervisor,asking her to report to her office.Ella went to her Supervisor's office only to find her leaving for a meeting,as she told her to wait for her to come back.
Ella stayed and waited in the office for almost an hour ,until she started getting restless.The other employees have started leaving one by one as Ella looked at the clock.By seven o clock the office is almost empty with no sight of her supervisor as her temper is rising.
"She must have forgotten about me,she couldn't have gone home,for her things are still here." Ella thought.She walked back and forth,sat down and stand up,until her patience is almost running out.
And then she heard the phone rang as she answered it,and it is Gina her supervisor."Ella, can you come to Mr Wu's office please right now." she told her.
Ella's heart beats faster and she was anxious,what could they possibly want from her? Is Chun getting revenged on her for shutting him off on the phone.Somehow the possibility of it all,is so likely as she walked slowly to Chun's office and found his secretary getting ready to leave for the day.
"Excuse me,I am Ella,they told me to come report here." she said.
"Ah yes,Mr Wu told me about you,just go inside the office and wait for him." she told her.
Ella walked inside Chun's office,the first time that she have been in the Big Boss office as she admired the space and the decorations around.Everything is so modern and so manly.There was a huge desk made of solid wood in black and a black leather chair.He have a very nice view of the outside,as it overlook the city of Taipei,the lights starts to glitter now,since it is almost seven o clock and the dark sky have set in.
She walked slowly to the glass window,as the building towers above all other buildings around.She stood their looking out ,mesmerized by the glitter of the neon lights,that decorated the city.She was so engrossed with the view,that she hardly notice that Chun have slowly walked inside the room as he watched her.
"You also like my spot?I think I have the best view of the city,isn't it?" Chun said as he walked to his desk,towards Ella and stood next to her.
Ella was startled as she looked at him."Yes,it is .It must be nice to be the Boss,to have this things around you." Ella said.
"It is not always nice as it seems it is.It is more than this things that meets the eyes." Chun said."It is not easy being the Boss,even when you are at the top of your helm.Sometimes,you have to do things,that you don't want to." as he touched his forehead,easing out the tension.
"It must be hard on you,being the son of your Father,you have a big shoes to fill in." Ella said."You must be tired,my supervisor told me to report to you.So whatever you need me to do,just let me know.So I can leave you in peace."
"Good,so why don't you picked up your things from your desk,and you are going with me." Chun said."You better hurry alright."
"And where are we going? Is it still a part of my job?I am not your assistant and I am not your secretary either." Ella said.
"Today,I am making it a part of your job to go with me and no question asked." Chun said.
Ella looked at him with a frown in her face and ready to take the battle with him,but he saw the frown on his face and the twitch on his forehead,as she backed down from her stance.He looks like he is pain,as he closed his eyes for a seconds.He must be all stressed out today ,as her heart took pity at his sight.
"Alright,as you say Boss."Ella said as she went back to her desk to collect her belongings.Chun looked at her with a smile on his face.
When Ella came back,Chun was all ready to go,with his jacket and case in his hands,as they went to his car.
"Maybe,you can at least tell me where are we going?" Ella asked.
"You don't think that I will do anything bad to you?" Chun said."If I want anything done,I don't care if it is when and where,since you are still intact,then it tells something about me.Don't worry about me Ella,I am harmless.If I want that,I can always get it from somebody,without forcing myself to my partner,and without costing me a single cent."
Ella look at him side way.True enough,any girls will be a willing to be a slave to him,even her, as she smiled at her own thoughts.
"Uhmm,so you think,it is funny.You don't think I can get a girl if I want to?" Chun asked.
"No that's not it.I am pretty sure a lot of the girls will be in line for you." Ella said."Even in the office,I knew most of the girls will do anything just to get near you."
"Does it include you?" Chun asked teasing her.
Ella blushed as Chun laughed at her."I know,you are not one of them,hell I even got a brush off,when I called you on the phone." Chun said."But anyway,I am not interested in anybody,that is romantically right now.I got burned before.That is enough for me,for now.I just want your company and your friendship,if it is alright with you." as he looked at her.
Ella swallowed hard as as tried to smile at Chun,a friendship is what he wants from her...as Ella finds her self agreeing to him..."Yes friends,why not?" Ella said.But her heart is yelling for more.....
