The next day,Ella got a text message from Chun,that he is in the airport awaiting for his flight.And asked if she got home safe last night.She texted him back and wished him safe journey to U.S.
The days that followed have been boring and dreary for Ella.It is just work and home and nothing new from ordinary.Hebe noticed her boredom,as she found her in the living room staring at the ceiling.
"Hey Ella,you wanna go out.I don't have any date right now." Hebe said."Why don't we hit the club,it might be fun for a change."
Ella looked at her,and thought about it...yes why not,there is no use in lying around doing nothing while waiting for Chun to come back,not as if he is her boyfriend or they are committed to each other.It has been more than a week now,and she haven't heard anything from him,no phone calls and no text messages.He must forgotten about her.
"Sure why not.To tell you the truth ,I am really getting bored staying at home." Ella said.
"So what happen to your handsome date before?" Hebe said.
"He have to travel out of the country.He have some business to attend to." Ella said.
"It sounds like he is big time guy.Care to share his identity.I only saw him from the outside,but he looked so gorgeous,no wonder,you rather stay home and wait for him." Hebe said.
"Hey,who said about waiting for him.Of course not." Ella said in denial.
"No and yet,your eyes is constantly on your phone,waiting for his call.He must be somebody special." Hebe said."Well I will get to know him soon,since we are room mates.Come on tell me,your secret is safe with me."
"It is not up to me,I promised him and he asked me to keep it a secret." Ella said.
"Must be somebody high profile person,from the sound of it.It is not your Boss that you have been crushing for sometime is it?" Hebe asked.
Ella blushed and her emotions was shown on her face,as Ella and Hebe stared at each other,as a smile broke in Hebe's face which turns to laughter."Ella,no way,it is your Boss that you have been dating lately?How did you get him?" Hebe said."You're too deep and dangerous,I didn't know that you have it in you." as she laughed.
"Hebe not a word outside ,alright?" Ella said,still her face is in color."But it is nothing like that as you think.We are just going out as a friend."
"But still,it should be something,if he is spending time with you,for he is a very busy man."Hebe said."Oh Ella ,I am so happy for you." as she jumped up and down."I hope I can find a prince like him,handsome and rich and powerful.It must be exciting being with him."
Ella smiled and yes being with Chun is an excitement to itself.Oh how she missed him,if only he would call or text her,then she will be happy and that will keep her going,as she let out a deep sigh....
"Yes but I think,I want to go out tonight for a change.You're still up for clubbing tonight?" Ella ask.She knows,she needs something to distract herself.
"Yeah,sure,I might find my Prince there too." Hebe said,as she left for her room to dress up.
The club was in full swing when they arrived.Lots of people,young crowds and not so young.Loud music and sexy dances from the young crowds.Ella and Hebe feel out of place,for the place that they went to seems to be the hangout for the college students and teenagers.They left as fast as they came in and end up laughing at themselves.They end up in a bar and restaurant place.
"I never felt too old before." as Hebe and Ella walked in the restaurant."Let us just have a couple of drinks and then head home,so much for a Prince Charming."
"You tell me,I feel like my eardrums are broken." Ella said.
as they sat on the stool.They both have frozen Margarita as they sipped and laughed at each other,when they notice two pairs of eyes have been watching them.They both looked at each other.
"Uhmm,you see the two guys there on your side,they have been looking at us." Hebe said."And they both looked so cute." as she smiled at Ella.
"Yeah,I have notice that too.It looks like they are coming this way.What are going to do now?" Ella said.
"Just look at me and don't look at them.Let us see what they got." Hebe said,and obvious expert in this kind of thing.
Both guys sat on the stool next to them,and then face Hebe and smiled.Hebe smiled back.Ella looked in amazement how suave Hebe in this game.
"Hi,I am Arron and this is my friend Jiro." the guy beside Hebe said.
Hebe smiled back at him."I am Hebe and this is my friend Ella."
"Are you waiting for your table?Did you have dinner yet?" the guy named Arron asked.The other guy was just quiet,smiling and looking at Ella.
"No,we are just really here,for a drink...." as Hebe looked at Ella.
"Would you care to join us?Two guys having dinner is not that fun.I guess out dates have stood us up and I hope you don't mind cheering up two lonely guys?" the other guy named Jiro spoke.
"Sure why not?" Hebe answered hurriedly before Ella can say something.
"Good,then let me tell the hostess,that we are having company." Jiro said as he turn and left.
When he came back,he was all smile."Our table is ready." he said ,as they walked to their table.
They talked and drink and ate and get to know each other.They were well mannered,and Hebe was just too excited to meet the guys.Both are good looking,the other one Jiro taller than the younger one Arron.But Arron got the most mesmerizing eyes and Jiro is funny and entertaining.Ella and Hebe have fun with them,just talking and sharing some jokes and stories.
Both never talked about their background,but the way they spoke and the way they act,it seems like they came from a very good background for they are well mannered..Ella notice the expensive wristwatch that both are wearing,and their clothes.This is not a regular working man wears.It must have cost a bundle even just the shirt.
After the last drinks,they exchanges cellphone numbers,with the promise that they will get together again soon.As they tossed on their last drinks,Ella's phone rang,and it is Chun,as Ella's face lighten up and answer his call.
"Hello Ella,it is Chun.How are you?"
"Chun,hi,I am fine,how about you?" she asked.
"Are you out somewhere?" he asked,for he can here the background music and the peoples voices and laughter on the background.
"Yeah,I am out with Hebe." she said and as she looked up Jiro was standing by her side.
"Are you ready to go?" Jiro asked,and Chun have heard on the other end.
"I'm not gonna hold you up anymore.It seems you are busy.I am sorry.Goodbye Ella "as he hung up before Ella can say something ,as she stared on her phone....
Chun closed his phone and lay back on his chair.He doesn't know why he feels disappointed and hearing a guy's voice in the end with Ella stirred some thing inside...and as he looked outside....only a week and she is out with somebody...and he have three weeks to go before he can go home....he wished,he can fly back home now...as he closed his eyes....
