The four of them took off their cloaks which only made things worse by trapping more heat. Raymond wheezes and once again summons his powers to call for ice which rapidly melts into water on this burning planet. He hurriedly catches some of the water and drinks it. To make Raymond feel better, Leila uses her powers and beckons for strong wind to blow towards them and also decreasing the temperature of their surroundings. Raymond managed a weak smile and mumbled “Thanks.” Leila just gave a shrug since she understands that the temperature is still unbearable, especially to Raymond.
Raymond, Ron and Michelle then widened their eyes in astonishment.
Leila tore off some length of her black long-sleeved dress, changing it into a sleeveless dress and that its length now is above her knees. Throwing those tore cloth onto the scorching earth; she also tied her hair into a messy bun.
Michelle then followed suit, tearing her plain long sleeved gold dress. The males then tore off the long sleeves of their shirts and some length of their long pants, turning them into shorts, as well. Ron was very amazed as he noted that Leila was very adaptive and could quickly made changes to her to suit the environment. Deep within his heart, his love for Leila is deepening.
To their astonishment, some little sparks were produced when they were on the hot scorching earth. Bits of cloth burnt. They also realised that their beads of perspiration which have dropped onto the earth seeped into it in incredible speed. However, that was not all. The earth which had looked hard and cracked, most probably due to the excruciating heat initially has healed instantly, after the sweat sunk in, recovering into the plain earth which feels much cooler and is no longer cracked.
Walking further into the planet, there was no one in sight. Instead, the four noticed that all the plants have already withered and the leaves of trees have dried and curled. Trees look bare and all these constitutes a dying atmosphere where there seems to be no signs of life at all. Flames is like a barren land but with intolerable heat. The four feel thirsty within a short time. Raymond then summons his powers for ice and under the heat, the ice quickly melt into water and they quickly drank it as some of the water flowed quickly into the dehydrated cracked earth.
“Silent!” Michelle signaled the other three to keep quiet as she thought she has heard a weak cry for water. “Did you hear that?” she asked. The three of them shook their heads. Michelle points towards a direction and began walking there. The rest followed.
The cry for water seems to get more audible after they have moved a certain distance.
“Water…water…” a man’s weak cry for water could be heard. The four of them rushed towards the source of the cry. A naked young man soon came into their sight. Michelle turns her head away in embarrassment. “Water,” the man calls out once more.
The three of them who are still looking at the man, noticed that the man’s skin tone is red which reveals that he has been severely burnt and that his lips have dried and cracked. His head is bald and his skin looks rough. It seems that he has been severely dehydrated.
Raymond then used his powers and managed to provide some water to that man. The man’s lips miraculously heal back to normal pale red colour, with no signs of the lips previously being cracked and dried, after taking a sip or two. His skin also changes to a lighter shade of red. All of them are stunned at the speedy recovery. Michelle finally turns her head around as she wants to know the situation. The man introduces himself as Crimson and he thanked them for their generous help. “To repay the debt,” Crimson gives a small smile and invites them into an enormous house where all the people of Flames reside. Crimson also went to pick up the tore cloth which the four had threw on the earth just then.
Michelle let out a gasp. Ron’s jaws practically dropped. Raymond’s eyes widened whereas Leila remains her composure.
“Welcome.” Crimson said and then swiftly went around, placing the cloth on the earth to provide a cooler surface for the people of Flames to rest on. Inside an enormous house which has no roof but just walls, where all the people of Flames stay, both young and old, females and males, are all naked and bald. Not only that, they all have blistered lips and it can be clearly observed that all of them are severely dehydrated and scorched. Some children and old are lying on the hot, hard earth as they are too weak to stand or sit properly. One woman lying on the earth is even pregnant; her big belly strikingly noticed.
Leila nudges Raymond and Raymond understands what he is supposed to do. Raymond hurriedly commands his powers from within and creates more ice, in turn, creating more water for everyone to drink. After having taken a sip or two of the water, all the people of Flames heal miraculously. Leila also calls for stronger winds so as to make the whole environment cooler and more comfortable for the people.
“I’m tired,” Raymond whispered these words to Michelle and Michelle gives him an encouraging and dazzling smile. “But it is all worth it,” Raymond thought silently to himself as he is captivated by the beauty of Michelle’s smile.
“Thanks,” a seemingly older man with wrinkles on his face steps forward to express his gratitude to Raymond. He also further elaborates that just a sip or two of water can keep them living for three days or even a week. A baby is wailing as he is forced to lie down on the earth, by his mother. Without hesitation, Ron takes off his shirt and gives the baby’s mother it. The mother put the baby down on the cloth and holds him in her arms, patting the baby gently and the baby eventually stops crying. Upon this sight, Leila feels as if something is tugging at her heartstrings. An unknown and unfamiliar feeling envelops her. She is genuinely touched by the mother’s gentleness and love for her son. This is one feeling that a killer has never experienced.
Raymond removes his shirt too and passes it to another needy woman. Michelle tries to help the others who are suffering by either giving them a pat on their shoulders as a form of encouragement or giving them a smile which certainly brightens up their day.
Suddenly, someone yelped, pointing towards Ron.
All the other people of Flames look at Ron and gasp. Their gasps slowly change into smiles and their eyes shine.
“The one has finally arrived, after we have suffered so many days and so many nights.” Crimson said, beaming with delight.

I have been seriously very busy with camps, projects and exams. N tuition! Gosh. Sorry for not updating. So now I present u a new chpt with a brand new adventure of the four on a new planet, FLAMES! Lols. Hope u enjoy reading this and dun forget to drop comment or two! I will try to update ASAP again since my hols are coming! YAY! Finally! But I sure have remedial-S! >_< nvm.
