The name of the planet itself was ominous.
This was the last planet they had to visit. The Golden Ray planet had surprisingly visited Black Moon and claimed that their planet was prospering and that the four of them do not need to visit them.
“Not like we are any healers of planets, aren’t we?” Ron grinned, obviously proud of their accomplishments. After all, their names had now spread far and wide in the universe. They were famous.
It was supposed to be morning but the overcast dark sky painted across Dark Oracles showed no signs of it.
“This planet is weird.” Raymond commented, trying to convert a drop of water into ice. However, no matter how much strength and powers he summoned into doing the same simple trick he had done umpteen times, he just cannot perform it.
“Raymond, you are only causing damage to your own body by doing this.” Michelle caringly went forward to stop Raymond.
“She is right.” Leila agreed.
“How do you know?” Both Raymond and Ron were shocked.
“I just feel it.” Michelle replied and Leila nodded her head.
Strong winds were blowing really hard in their direction, as if forcing them to retreat. As Michelle continued to stride forward, she could feel that her strength and powers were actually weakening. However, a premonition came to her as well – She would enter this planet with no powers but when she leaves this planet, her powers will become the greatest healing powers of all. In her mind, golden light rays are all over her. She shook her head and realised that Leila was looking at her.
“Do you feel it too?” Leila’s eyes, for once, were showing feelings of fear and uncertainty.
“My powers are weakening.” Michelle replied, with a grim smile.
“No. They are being stripped away by someone who is controlling all our powers.” Leila kept her cool composure as she concluded. She knew that her vision was related to the Dark Oracles. Dark Oracles would be the place where the vision would be or had already taken place.
“This will be where it all ends. Eventually,” Leila mumbled, shutting her moist eyes for a moment. Upon reaching the Dark Oracles, the deepest feelings within her were stirred. Depression sunk into her and guilt was all around her body. She was indeed feeling emotionally unwell.
“Are you okay?” Ron went forward to Leila and tried to support her. The two of them now share a closer relationship with Leila speaking more and Ron trying to get more intimate with Leila, with all his kisses and hugs.
Leila merely nodded her head while Ron pulled her into an embrace.
A sense of helplessness coursed through Leila’s veins as the hunch of losing Ron and everything she had now hit her hard.
“Ron…” Leila tightened her arms around Ron.
Ron was shocked and surprised beyond words. Leila had never been so afraid before. He could feel that the Dark Oracles was putting much pressure on Leila and that he was going to lose Leila.
Raymond enviously looked at Leila and Ron. He was indeed happy that Leila had finally opened up slightly. However, he reflected about himself. He had not even managed to hug Michelle or even hold her hands to express his love for him.
“Raymond,” Michelle gave him a smile to cheer him up as well as gave him a squeeze with her hands.
“Michelle!” Raymond mustered his courage to throw his arms around Michelle and hugged her tightly.
“Ray…”
“I love you, Mich.”
“I accept your love.” Michelle let out a laugh, “and I repay it back.”
Raymond turned his head violently and looked at Michelle. Michelle gave him a light kiss on his lips. Raymond’s pursed lips then expanded into a wide smile. His eyes sparkled with happiness and love.
Ron and Leila had each other. Raymond and Michelle had each other.
However, upon stepping onto Dark Oracles, happiness for them just seemed to be blooming but yet the times they shared together were withering.
Abruptly, a dark hole, as if night itself, appeared.
The four of them glared at it.
The dark hole seemed to be inviting them; Leila was the first to step in. Ron was trying to pull her back but she walked straight into it. Leila sensed the beckoning of it. She knew she must go in.
The rest of them followed it. The dark hole then disappeared in a twinkle of light, after all of them stepped.
Transported by air, all of them stepped and landed safely in a huge solid palace. The interiors were dark, and there were nothing in the great halls. No pictures, no accessories, not even lights. It was just emptiness.
“Welcome. I have been awaiting for your arrival.” A familiar voice rang out.
A familiar figure, was strolling towards them, holding an oil lamp.
As she neared, and as the light of the oil lamp shone on her, the four of them held their breaths.
“This is impossible!” Ron was the first to let out an exclamation.
