Lightning flashed across the sky followed by the roaring thunder. The men and women were shocked and horrified to find babies on the Black Moon. The lightning flashed, the thunder roaring even harder, everything seems wrong. Everything on the Black Moon had gone out of place, it is impossible for the babies to be on the Black Moon. Babies meant new life and birth. Birth is strictly forbidden.
The men and women then noticed that they had also violated a rule---- they are not supposed to meet one another. Some of them hurriedly rushed back to their houses, so as to escape the punishment.
One man picked up all the four babies with all his strength and tried to throw them out of the Black Moon.
Everyone was amazed, not at the strength of the man but what had happened next.
Not only had the man failed in his attempt, the four babies were flying. With light shining through the little blankets draped over their little naked bodies, the babies looked like the gods sent down from Heaven.
“No, it can’t be!” the man exclaimed, screaming his head off. This scene is impossible. The man kept on running, he tripped and he was out of the Black Moon.
It then started drizzling. The babies are still crying hard and their wailing became louder, as if in rhythm with the raging storm.
Another man tried to get rid of the four babies but yet he failed and received the same punishment again. The man was forever gone from the Black Moon.
“IT IS A SIN TO GET RID OF THE BABIES! THE BABIES ARE THE GODS!” a woman shrieked out in angst. She then kneeled down and started kowtowing to the babies. All the people then followed suit.
To the surprise and amazement of all the people, the babies started laughing and the light emitted from their bodies grew even stronger. This time, they spotted a difference. There are two males and two females. The light from the male babies are red and blue while for the female babies, the light is of gold and silver.
All of a sudden, four eagles swooped down to take the babies. The people screamed. They have never seen eagles before. “Monsters!” a man shouted at the top of his voice. “They are taking the gods away!” another woman yelled.
The Black Moon was in chaos now. The men and women ran frantically and aimlessly. Since the people are old, they are not able to run in fast speed. Some fell, with their faces down onto the Earth and they never get up again as the other old people stepped on their bodies to escape.
Some even tried to jump into the air and save the babies. However, they failed. The eagles are fast and flying high up in the sky.
Then a voice bellowed across the whole of Black Moon.
“PEOPLE OF BLACK MOON, STOP RUNNING! STAY CALM!”
Everyone froze in their tracks.
“THE SIX ELDERS RULE THE BLACK MOON AND I AM THE SECOND ELDER!
Instead of calming down the people, the words of the Second Elder caused panic and fear. Screams are arising and the people ran all about, rushing to get back to their houses safely. Again, a stampede happened.
“STOP! WE WILL NOT PUNISH ANYONE HERE!”
All stopped to listen, with bewildered looks on their faces.
“THE CREATURES FLYING IN THE SKY ARE MY EAGLES! THEY ARE BRINGING THE BABIES TO THE SIX ELDERS! WE WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM! ALL OF YOU LISTEN! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CONTINUE TO CARRY ON WITH YOUR LIVES, PRETEND THAT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. JUST GET BACK TO YOUR OLD LIVES! GET BACK!”
The voice grew stronger and louder as each word is being emphasized on. Then it was gone. The voice of the Second Elder was gone. All the people then walked back to their houses. All the bodies left on the earth of the Black Moon then turned to ash.
The eagles flew high in the dark sky. The rain had stopped and so has the thunder and the lightning. Everything returned to normal.
