He kept his silence and the only warmth and the fire in his heart was her.
Yet she never seems to notice him.
He is envious and jealous of him. He has been the one with all the attention. Ever since that accident, he has always been the hero in her heart. To her, it is always him and never himself. He hates this but nothing he does can ever change the place he has in her heart.
Hence, they were never on good terms.
Upon thinking about that accident, he can’t help but sigh.
Nonetheless, he likes Leila. Though she hardly speaks, she is the one always by his side and supporting him. She is just like his little sister. She knows him inside out but yet he knows nothing of her except for one fact.
The Elders hate her to the core, giving her the most tasks. She is never allowed to rest.
He hates them for making Leila a slave, he wanted to kill them for controlling him; making use of his powers and setting those stupid rules. However, he could not do it as the Elders were the ones who brought him up.
“Let it snow; let it be freezing cold!”, “Make sure that there is no water left; you must freeze the waters!” He hates those “requests” that the Elders made.
The Elders were evil.
None of them was good. Pure evil, they were.
Raymond walked about in his room.
He feels that something major is going to happen but he doesn’t know whether it will be good or bad.
“Knock, knock!” Someone is knocking on his door. He went forward to open it. To his utmost surprise, it is the Fifth Elder.
“Raymond, listen properly. You are given a wish for all your achievements. You can make any wish you like. Anything you want. The Elders have also decided to send you out to conquer four planets for us. Details will be given later. However, we will be holding a banquet tonight. That is also the time when your wish will be granted. Think about your wish and you will set off in another two days.” The Fifth Elder said.
“Is Michelle going too?” Raymond asked.
The Fifth Elder eyed Raymond suspiciously.
“I mean I wish to know whether Leila, Ron and Michelle are going to conquer the planets as well.” Raymond asked again.
“They are going. And I am going.” The Fifth Elder answered.
“What?” Raymond exclaimed. He can’t imagine the Fifth Elder with the four of them.
“I mean I am going off.” The Fifth Elder said as he stormed out of Raymond’s room.
Raymond heaved out a sigh of relief.
“Maybe this will be a good chance to prove to her. But what wish shall I make? A wish that will keep her by my side? A wish for her to love me? No, I can’t be so selfish. What should be my wish be?” Raymond wondered and thought hard.
His mind was full of her images. He had completely forgotten that love was forbidden on the Black Moon... ... ...
