Ice was a planet which is known for its chilly cold wind and the freezing snow. White is the main colour of it. With thick layers of snow covering the ground and the strong and chilly winds, any ordinary human would have die of the coldness. Even the plants are frozen on the planet; revealing no life and energy.
Though the foursome are people with extraordinary powers, only Raymond can withstand such extreme temperature. Things are different for Michelle and Leila and especially for Ron. Since Ron’s powers are of heat, the iciness of the planet contradicts his powers and his body is suffering inside.
It hurts his lungs to breath in the piercing cold air. It hurts his legs to walk on the thick freezing snow. For Michelle and Leila, they are just not used to the extreme temperature. Both Michelle and Leila can see that Ron is suffering. Therefore, Leila walks over to Ron and places her lips over Ron’s. She knew that she had to help Ron since Michelle was in a loss about what to do. She had to take the initiative.
Ron was stunned. However, he slowly kissed Leila back, enjoying the warmth. All the icy cold things did not hurt him now as the air around him turned warm. Leila broke the kiss. He looked at her but realized that the air surrounding him is still warm. He gets it now.
Leila had used her kiss to lure his powers. With the help of Leila’s controlling the air, his powers of heat combined with the air, resulting in warmer air. She was just trying to help him, nothing more. However, though Ron understood this, he was contented enough to know that Leila has cared for him. It was enough to melt his warm and passionate heart. Ron smiled.
Michelle on the other hand was hurt once more.
She wanted to hate Leila but yet she could not bring herself into doing that. Firstly, Leila was a girl who was brave and kind. Secondly, Leila was her only female companion. Therefore, Michelle would rather Leila be a friend or even a sister than a foe. Lastly and most importantly, she was the one who could make Ron smile genuinely. She was the one who can bring Ron happiness and she was the one who Ron loves.
Michelle just can’t hate the loved ones of Ron. Though she knew that Leila had no special feelings for Ron, she knew that the fact that Ron is deeply in love with Leila can’t be changed.
Love cannot be forced. Michelle understood that simple but yet difficult logic. It was simple to say, but difficult to do. “Though I know that you love Leila, but it still hurts me. Seriously, I don’t really know whether to smile or cry when I see you smiling, because the person, who makes you smile, is not me.” Michelle whispered to herself.
She then gave an amused smile to herself. She knew she was being silly. Nonetheless, she has decided to give Ron up. If Ron is happy, she will be happy too.
Leila caught Michelle’s smile and knew immediately what Michelle was thinking about. She felt guilty once again. It was because of her again. She wondered and pondered. “Why am I always the one who brings unhappiness to others?” She feels so inferior, so useless and so unhappy. Guilt has been eating her up since the day she was born. However, she knew that there was one way.
The one and only way to help herself.
To save herself.
It was to find out the truth about the woman in her dreams. The dreams are still coming to her but the dreams are becoming blurrier and shorter. Whenever the dreams are occurring, there will be the same scenes repeating in her mind. However, when she is getting close to seeing more, the dreams spin and disappeared.
That was the end.
She often thinks about the dream. She has always comes to a conclusion that the dream depicts the truth but what was the truth? The truth about the past or the truth about the future or the present? There are so many questions surrounding her and she has mull over these questions and the dreams but yet there seems to be no solution and no answer. All that she can do is to wait. She can only wait for the dreams to come to her every night.
Raymond was figuring out his thoughts too.
This Ice planet seems so familiar to him. It is as if he has been here before. He looked around carefully, taking his every step with care. He stretched out his hand to touch the frozen plants. It was cold to the touch but as he further caressed the frozen plants, he sensed warmth in his heart.
His eyes shifted.
He spotted that there was one white flower beneath all the frozen plants. The flower seems to be so delicate and so transparent. Reaching out for the flower, he realized that it look as if it is made of ice.
He plucked it out carefully.
It looked like it has been waiting for Raymond all the time. It fits right into Raymond’s fist and Raymond feels so right holding the flower in his hand.
Then Raymond notices a pair of eyes staring at him.
The shadow of the owner of the eyes is also extending in his direction.
Leila, Michelle and Ron then shifted their gazes in that same direction as they had sensed something stirring in the air.
Raymond revealed a smile as the truth is stepping closer… …
However, Leila sensed something else. The feeling was not right. She has a premonition that not only the truth that Raymond is waiting for is coming, danger and death are heading towards them as well… … And Leila was unsure whether the four of them will be able to pass through this… …

heyy. People. Hi!!!! I own a lot of u comments for ur fanfics n I noe that. But I feel that I shld update since my comments are getting lesser. )): haha. I think I failed my maths again n I have a series of tests coming up!!!! However, I will try to update ASAP as I dun wan to lose any readers n that I wan to give comments to authors. But mayb not today since tmr I will have a Literature test n a history test. On Monday, I will have Physics and Chemistry test. On Tuesday, there is an English test waiting for me.
