Gwen and Zack looked around the wooden hut. It had barrels, sacks of rice and a cooking pot which was made of clay. "Wow, This is some empty house... They don't even have a television!!" Gwen said as she turned her head left and right while sitting down.
"Here, have some tea!" The old man then sat and slowly placed the cups of tea on a table in front of them.
"Thank you." Both Gwen and Zack said monotonously.
"So... What are you two young people doing here?" The old man then asked after sipping some tea from the cup.
"Well... First things first, where are we?" Zack asked looking at the old man.
"Well, you're at Sakisawa village..." The old man replied.
"Sakisa... what?" Gwen replied trying to figure out.
"Sakisawa, my friend! Sakisawa!!" The old man replied.
"Oh, ookay..." Gwen replied confused.
"Second, what's your name?" Zack asked again.
"Kazuo..." The old man replied.
"Oh..." Zack replied.
"Erm, Zack I told you wanted to tell me about why you needed the Necklace Of Fate?" Gwen then suddenly blurted out.
Zack immediately covered her mouth with his right hand. "M... Mif!! Met ngo!!" Gwen said as she struggled to pry Zack's hand off her mouth.
Zack turned to face Kazuo while he was still covering Gwen's mouth, "Erm... Kazuo... Can you excuse us for a while? Thank you."
"Well, yes, of course, tell me when you're done." Kazuo replied and went out muttering to himself.
Zack finally released his hand from Gwen's mouth. "What did you do that for?!" Gwen immediately shouted the moment he released his hand from her mouth.
"Hey, you can't go everywhere talking about The Necklace Of Fate, you know!! It something I'm not very comfortable saying to strangers!!" Zack explained in a whisper.
"Okay, fine, can you tell me now... there's only you and I." Gwen said.
"Yeah. Well, you may not believe this because I didn't when I heard about it. Now, here goes... I am Zachery Isacc Fientra. The last surviving clone of M.C.O..." Zack started when he was interupted by Gwen.
"Okay, You're a clone? Of M.C.O? What is M.C.O anyway?" Gwen asked scratching her head.
"Yes, I'm a clone. M.C.O stands for Massive Cloning Organisation. Anyway, I needed to go back in time to retrieve a necklace it is called 'The Necklace Of Fate' My dad said that it will help me discover my hidden powers or something like that." Zack then finished and took a deep breath.
Gwen looked at him in not fear, but confusion, then she started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Zack asked her confused.
"You are joking... Right?" She replied smiling.
"Do I look like I'm joking?" Zack answered dully.
"Erm... Not quite... I don't believe this!! Not one bit of it!!! Okay, if you're a clone, your genes were extracted from where?" Gwen asked.
"Different people, I was created with different people's genes. Like, my eyes looked like a certain somebody and the colour of my eyes belongs to another certain somebody... You don't look like you quite get it..." Zack said looking at Gwen amazed face.
"Because I don't... Fine, you're a clone... What about the hidden powers thingy?" Gwen continued asking.
"I dunno either... My dad said that I have some hidden powers hidden in me and I need the Necklace's help in order to discover it... But, it was destroyed a few hundred years ago... Like maybe around this year or next year or something like that... That's why we went back in time... To retreive the Necklace before the certain city blows up... But, I dunno what the city is... " Zack replied thinking of his father's words.
"Ookay... This is the weirdest thing I've ever encountered..." Gwen replied.
"But... I'll try my best to understand it... step by step..." Gwen said.
Suddenly, Kazuo rushed in and shouted "Robbers!! They've come to rob our village!!"
Zack and Hwen looked at each other and then at Kazuo, "Where is it?"
Kazuo ran out and pointed to the direction.
Zack and Gwen then ran to the direction "Let's slug them!!" Gwen shouted and the both of them ran into the battle scene.
