Chapter 9

ENTRY 4;3

Jay, Young Ae, Xiao, Taecyeon, Junho and Ava walked outside and into the bright sun.
"I'm glad we get to explore outside first when it's still day" Ava said.
"Agreed" Junho nodded.
"Where should we start?" Young Ae asked.
"Let's split up and meet back here in like an or two?" Jay suggested. Everyone nodded. Taecyeon and Xiao decided to go south. As they walked they looked for any buildings, but they found nothing. They weaved through the trees and vines. Taecyeon stopped and looked down at his sleeve. It was caught on something sticking out from the vines that surrounded the tree. Xiao messed with the sleeve and set him free.
"Thanks" She nodded. He continued moving forward.
"Taecyeon, look" Xiao pointed up ahead of them. He followed her finger and seen a small building.
"let's go check it out" Taecyeon led the way to the small building. As they approached it, it got bigger and bigger. It wasn't as large as the Mansion of course, but it was a fairly decent sized house.

Xiao and Taecyeon walked up to the house. They tried to look through the window, but couldn't see anything.

Junho and Ava headed East of the Mansion. They were walking down a dirt road that had lead to few scattered buildings here and there. Looking at these old buildings that were crumbling down gave Ava the chills, even in broad daylight. She grab onto Junho's arm as they walked down the dirt road. At the end of the road, they came up to a gate.

Junho walked up to the gate and seen that it wasn't locked.He pushed open one of the doors and signaled Ava to come over. She stood still and shook her head no. He walked over to her.
"It'll be okay"
"Thats a cemetery" She stated
"How do you know?"
"Cuz it's a creepy old metal gate"
"C'mon. nothings gonna happen in the middle of daylight. Besides, we're the only ones on the island" She looked at the gate and nodded. Junho grabbed her by the hand and lead her through the gate. They pushed their way through all the vines and found themselves staring at a wide, open area filled with head stones, most of which were crumbling apart.
"I told you it was a cemetery"

Since Taecyeon headed South and Junho headed East, Jay decided on West since the Mansion was More North on the island. Young Ae walked slightly behind Jay, looking around cautiously. Jay stopped and looked back at her.
"Nothings gonna happen in broad daylight"
"Yeah? Well I didn't think my own reflection could attack me and it did. I'm pretty sure that anything can happen on this island" She pouted. Jay walked up to her and gently grabbed her shoulders.
"I got you out of there, the bathroom, didn't I?" She nodded.
"I've been by your side the whole time, right?" She nodded again.
"See, you can count on me to protect you" He smirked. Young Ae laughed.
"And you call Junho corny"She laughed some more. Jay's smirk faded for a second, then turned into a smile.
"Ya, but you know it's true."
"Thanks" She said, leaning against him. Jay wrapped his arm around her shoulder. They continued to walk down the road that lead them to a town. As they walked past the old shops, they went inside one. The items on the shelves were still there.
"I guess they really did just up and leave" Young Ae mumbled as she looked at the row of rotting meats. She covered her nose and walked down the isle of the store.
"reminds me of a zombie movie" She said as she walked up to Jay who was looking at something on the shelf.
"What is that?" Young Ae asked. Jay shrugged.
"It kinda looks like a-" A crash interrupted his sentence. They turned around and seen something crawl across the floor.Young Ae jumped back.
"What the fuck is that?!?" She freaked. Jay pulled her behind him and stepped forward and looked at it.

He let out a yelp and grabbed Young Ae and ran out of the store.
"What was it?" She asked. Jay just looked at her.
"Let's go" He said in a low voice.
'why does everything bad happen to me?' Young Ae thought.
