Chapter 2

Both of Chae Yeon’s parents are in Korea. They are very successful. Chae’s mother is the CEO of a big cell phone company called Kamikaze.
And her father is the owner of the exclusive hotel, Seoul Paradise Hotel. Chae Yeon moved to LA to become independent and to further her career.
She is currently working for the hottest designer brand, D&G. She is the manager at Dolce and Gabbana. She is doing very well for herself.
Chae's mansion is very breath taking. Everything is serene from the inside and out.

Phone rings. ''Hello?'' Chae Yeon answered. ''Hey Yeonie.'' It was one of Chae Yeon’s friend.
''Hey Deanna.'' ''What’s up?''

''Are you going to Shim Eun Jin’s fashion show tonight?''
''Of course.''

''Do you want to go there together, it’s kind
of dull going on my own.'' ''Plus I need someone to talk to.''

Chae giggled. Sure Chae Yeon replied.
''I get what you mean.''

They both laughed. Kim Deana is one of Chae’s good friends.
''Okay then. I see you later. Bye Yeonie.'' ''Bye Deanna.''

Door bell rings. She rushed downstairs. She saw it was Kim Tae Hee on the gadget identity video screen. Tae Hee is Chae’s friend too. She opened the door. ''Hey Yeonie.''
She smiled. ''Hey Tae Hee.'' She returned the smile. ''I’m glad you’re home. Do you want to go shopping?'' ''Definitely.'' ''Let me just get change first.'' ''Come in and have a seat.''
''Thank you.'' Tae Hee waited by the stairs. Chae Yeon came down. She was wearing a white and green floral summer dress and white pumps to match the dress. She brought her D&G hand bag.
''Let’s go.'' They walked out. Chae Yeon locked the door. They went in Kim Tae Hee’s silver Mercedes. It was the newest model. ''Nice car.'' She observed. ''Thank you.'' They went to the most popular shopping mall. They tried on many designer clothes. They had fun pretending to be models, posing and pulling funny expressions on their faces. They had 2 bags each. Once they have finished shopping after an hour. They went to Star bucks with their arms linked.

I would like ice coffee please Chae Yeon said. And Tae Hee ordered a caramel cream coffee. They sat down and started drinking their coffee. ''That was refreshing, just what I needed.''
Chae Yeon felt refreshed. Tae Hee agreed. Chae Yeon started to laugh. ''You love very attractive Tae Hee.'' ''Hey, why are you laughing at me?'' ''You have cream on your face. It looks like you have a moustache.'' Chae Yeon is still laughing. She quickly wiped the cream off with a napkin. ''Not funny.'' Tae Hee pouted. ''Yes it was.'' Tae Hee got out her cell phone. ''Picture time Yeonie.'' She took a picture of them together on her phone. Tae Hee drove Chae Yeon home. ''Thanks for a fun day Tae Hee.'' ''No problem. I have fun too.'' ''Bye Yeonie.'' Tae Hee waved. ''Bye Tae Hee.'' She waved back. She droved off. She was about to walk to her mansion, when Chae Yeon noticed a guy with dark hair. She never had seen him around here before. He was leaning against Si Won’s wall. Si Won lives next door to Chae Yeon. They were looking at each other. ''Who are you?'' Chae Yeon questioned him. ''Who ever you want me to be.'' He said flirtatiously. Okay, she thought to herself. She walked off.
Chae Yeon put her stuff away. Jun Ki was in the guest room. He was thinking about the girl he saw half an hour ago. She was very beautiful and captivating. She had light wavy brown hair, serene eyes and pink lips. He had a smile on his face.

Later in the evening. Chae Yeon and Deanna was watching the run way. They were watching carefully of the latest designs. Everything was set out perfectly. Shim Eun Jin is a successful fashion designer.
Her company is called EJ. Is short for Eun Jin. She already has 20 branches all over LA. Once it was finished. Everyone clapped. Shim Eun Jin came out with a smile and bowed to everyone.
Eun Jin smiled and waved at Chae Yeon and Deanna. They did the same. The fashion show was a hit. After it was over. Eun Jin went to greet her friends. ''Hi Yeonie and Deanna.'' As she hugged them both. Hi they said in unison. They all laughed. ''Thank you for coming you guys.'' ''No problem.'' Chae Yeon said with a smile. The clothes are lovely as always.'' ''Thank you Chae Yeon.'' ''Yeah, you did great.'' ''Thank you too Deanna.'' It was getting late. They said their goodbyes and went home.
