"Aniki, what shall we do? Rumors of him taking over the organization are raging. If he does this assignment beautifully, it'll help to consolidate his position. Tetsu, that willy old fox, he must be trying to use you to help Yamashita gain foothold in the organization." Koki was fiercely loyal to Shun even though the organization belonged to Tetsu. Shun saved his life once.
"We'll just have to turn his plans against him," Shun smirked. No way was he going to lose to Tetsu or that junior Tomohisa.
"Aniki, do you have a plan?"
"This is when the police comes in handy, right?" He was going to remove any chances Yamapi has against him in this one assignment.
Shun pulled out his cellphone and pressed on speed dial 1. He waited for a while before the line was connected. "Hello old time buddy. I have some information for you."

"Take a seat," said Shun to Yamapi.
Yamapi sat on the nearest seat he could find. "So are we here to discuss the plan for tomorrow?"
"I've already thought out one. We'll split in 2 directions. The police are already looking out for me for quite some time. I'll distract them and go Northwards. You will go Southwards. Since this is your first assignment, no one would recognize you. Don't worry, I've given you some experienced subordinates. But in order to make it less conspicuous to the police, most of the people following you will be new faces. I've arranged for the meeting to be done at our warehouse by the sea. You'll take over the goods from there and transport it back to our main warehouse." Shun explained the big plan to Yamapi.
Yamapi remained silent for a moment as if thinking then finally spoke, "Wow... you've really thought everything out. So I really don't really have much to do eh?"
"Well don't underestimate your job, you'll still have to keep it safe along the way. After the goods are handed over to us, any loss would be our responsibility. If you do this properly, you'll be able to gain respect from the organization as your father would have wished."
"Don't worry, I'll get the goods back safely." Yamapi smiled with confidence. "I think I'll learn alot from you."
"It's my pleasure to teach you the ropes. I look forward to future cooperation, should there be a chance." Shun smiled back, his smile cold and unfeeling.

The next day, exactly at 4pm, Yamapi found Shun and a group of people waiting at his house.
"So, it's the big day today. Ready?" Shun stood before Yamapi, he reached out his hands to pat Yamapi on the shoulder. "I know you'll do well. You're Tetsu's son after all."
"I won't disappoint you." Yamapi replied. With that both of them got into their respective cars. As Shun had planned, his car went Northwards while Yamapi's car went Southwards. Just before Yamapi left, he glanced towards the 2nd floor window where Maki stood. He saw the confusion in her eyes. He wanted to explain everything to her, but today's Yamapi was different. He could no longer be that Yamapi who stayed by her. Right now, he was the Yamapi who would do anything to set her free from this house.

Kame's car passed Yamapi's as he drove back to the house from the hospital. When he saw Yamapi, it was like seeing a younger version of himself. Eager to prove himself. He then noticed Shun's car trailing behind Yamapi's as they splitted at the junction. "Shun Oguri..." Kame muttered. How could he ever forget this long time enemy when he was back working for Tetsu. He didn't understand why Tetsu made them work together. There was no way this first assignment was going to be smoothsailing for Yamapi if Shun were his partner.
Kame then noticed Maki standing at the 2nd floor window. Her eyes followed Yamapi's car as it drove further into the distance. Until his car was nowhere to be seen did Maki turn away from the window. Kame sunk deep in thought. 'What's happening between those two?' Then he recalled how Maki came home with her eyes healed after she spent a night out with Yamapi. Something was definitely going on, but Kame was not the least interested. Not now, when Erika still lived in his heart.
