Chapter 20

Takeo's Mistake

*** WARNING: SEX AHEAD!!***

Jude sat patiently on the worn couch in her living room, picking at one of her fingernails as she waited for Yuuki to come out of the bathroom. She had arrived an hour earlier and had been excited to go, but as the time got closer to leaving it was evident that Yuuki began to lose her composure, finally retreating into the bathroom to get her courage back. Jude let out as sigh as she reached up and scratched at some of her spiky green hair. It was so typical for Yuuki to act like she was and Jude couldn’t blame her at all. Being in abusive relationships tended to do that sort of thing to a person and Jude was happy that her friend had gotten out when she did, but to this day Yuuki still struggled around men. The front door to her apartment swung open suddenly, drawing her attention away from the bathroom and to the person barging into her home. Takeo was standing there with a dress bag thrown over her shoulder and a pair of red heels dangling from her free hand.

“Uh… what are you doing?” Jude asked as her eyebrows rose at her friend’s behavior. Why was her friend even carrying around girl items? If she got caught it would be the end of everything.

“I can’t take it anymore! I need to get laid… tonight!! Let me borrow your black wig, please Jude, just this once,” Takeo pleaded as she plopped down on the couch by Jude.

“What if someone recognizes you?”

“No one’s going to notice and if they question I can say I’m a cousin… please,” Takeo finished, pouting slightly. Jude looked at her friend for a moment before she sighed and let her orange eyes fall to the floor.

“Okay, but if you see one of the guys turn and run… promise me,” Jude said. Takeo smiled as she shook her head as she stood from the couch.

“Promise!” She said loudly before she headed for Jude’s room, already knowing where she kept all the wigs she had bought when Jude has lost her hair during chemotherapy. Jude let out a defeated huff before she looked over at the closed door of her bathroom. Yuuki had been in there too long for her own good.

“Come on Yuuki, everything is going to be fine,” Jude said as she let her head fall back against the couch. The sound of a door opening made Jude look over, her orange eyes coming in contact with her timid friend. Yuuki stood in the doorway, her small hands shoved into the front pockets of her baggy jeans. Her blond hair was spiked out perfectly in the back, her bangs coming over one of her dark brown eyes that were looking down at the black socks that covered her feet. Jude almost laughed; she looked like L from Death Note. It wasn’t surprising; L was Yuuki’s favorite Anime character.

“Are you ready now?” Jude asked as she rose from the couch.

“I think so,” Yuuki responded as her hands came out of her pockets and tugged at the hem of the army style shirt she was wearing.

“Good, now let’s get the hell out of here,” Jude said as she made her way to the front door. She let out a sigh as she shoved her feet into her blue Chuck Taylors, not bothering to tie the black, skull laces. It was going to be a bad night, she just knew it.

Jin looked down at his watch for the third time in twenty minutes and let out a sigh as he scratched at his messy dark brown hair. They had been there for an hour and Jude had still not shown up. He took another pull from his beer and slammed it back onto the table earning looks from Miyavi and Hiroki and a raised brow from Shun. He couldn’t help being a little aggravated; Jude was the whole reason he came out. But if he thought about it, he did have to beg to get the singer to come and if he thought about it more that only reason Jude was coming was because of Yuuki.

“What is with you man?” Shun asked, looking at his friend strangely.

“What… uh… nothing,” Jin stammered before he took another drink of his beer. He really didn’t even want to admit to himself the reason he was aggravated. He had no right to be… he was a dude for crying out loud. Hiroki held in a small laugh as he looked over at his squeamish friend with that all knowing look in his eye. Jin didn’t know that Jude was a girl and he thought it was hilarious. Jin suddenly perked up, one of his hands slicing through the air and waving someone over. Hiroki turned to look and saw Jude walking over to them, a timid Yuuki following closely behind her. Jude smiled as they got to the table, taking an open chair between Jin and Shun, leaving the only open seat by Hiroki.

“Took you guys long enough,” Jin said trying to play it off with a stupid laugh. Jude looked at him for a moment before she looked at the others.

“We had some difficulties when we were leaving,” Jude said, her eyes landing on Yuuki briefly before they shuffled around again. Yuuki shifted in her seat and Hiroki watched her from the corner of his eye. What was it that made her so fidgety around guys? Sure she was okay around him when they were alone, but it took him awhile to get her that way and when she was with more than one at a time, she tensed up completely.

“Well I’m going to go get myself a drink,” Jude said as she hopped off the stool she had been sitting in, casting a glance before she turned to leave.

“Do you think you should be drinking?” Jin asked suddenly. Jude stopped and turned to look over at him.

“You invite me out to drink and then don’t want me too? It won’t be like last time,” Jude said before she continued to the bar. Jin gulped as he watched Jude reach the bar. He remembered last time… it had been a complete disaster.

Keito stood quietly by Junno’s car, watching as he talked to an udon merchant. It had been Junno’s idea to hang out that night because he hadn’t seen his otooto in awhile. She had actually wanted to talk to Aiba about the kiss that night at the club, but she couldn’t refuse Junno and that pathetic look he had given her. Junno gave the man some money and made his way back over to her, two bowls of udon in his hands. He handed one over to Keito before he sat down on the hood of his car, smelling the soup with a smile on his face.

“I think Aiba is mad at me,” Keito said suddenly. Junno looked over at her, noodle hanging from his mouth. He quickly sucked it up before he answered her.

“Did something happen?” Junno asked. Keito looked down at the soup in front of her before looking back up at her friend. He had this look on his face like he knew something, but she ignored it. It was hard for her to answer him, to tell him his friend had kissed a … guy. Keito looked up to the sky as if to find an answer, but all she saw was the moon, looking slightly yellow. That was a bad sign.

“He kissed me,” Keito finally spat out. Junno looked at her for a moment before he shook his head.

“So Aiba is all confused and distraught because he thinks that he kissed a boy, right imotto?” Junno said. Keito’s mismatched eyes went wide. Junno had just called her little sister! Since when did he know? He let out a laugh before he gave her a friendly shove of the shoulder.

“I’m actually embarrassed that I didn’t figure it out sooner.”

“How did you…”

“That day at the hospital gave you away. It was the look on your face… only a woman could have that face when she looks at a child. But don’t worry I’ll keep your secret. The only thing we have to worry about is Aiba,” Junno finished before he stared eating his udon again, Keito smiling at him appreciatively before she dove into hers as well.

One Drink

Three Drinks

Five Drinks

Yuuki sat there quietly watching her friend from across the table. She knew that it was never good for Jude to drink a lot, but something had set her off. Was it Jin that had put Jude into a weird fit? Yuuki couldn’t be sure but she had a strong feeling that it did have something to do with him. She could feel eyes on her and she looked over cautiously, hoping that someone wasn’t staring at her. She really hated that. Hiroki was at the bar with Miyavi having a conversation; well Miyavi was talking while Hiroki continued to stare at her. She wanted to tuck some of her blond hair behind her ear like she usually did, but stopped herself by grabbing for her beer. She just knew that doing something like that was just too girly. He had been looking at her like that since they had arrived, almost like he was interested in her in more than a friend way. But she knew that couldn’t be true. Hiroki was known for his loose way with women and she was a guy now right? Yuuki gulped hard as she took another drink of her warm beer. Was it possible that he knew she was a girl?

“Jude,” Yuuki heard Jin say. When she looked over he was trying to pull the drink away, but she kept it out of his reach. Yuuki knew that Jude wasn’t drunk… well not yet at least. When Jude decided to dance, that was the key sign that she was plastered.

“What the hell, do you think you’re my dad or something?” Jude said angrily.

“No, but I do remember what happened last time,” Jin responded. Jude went to yell back at him, but stopped when she heard a familiar laugh ringing over the music. Her orange eyes looked over at Yuuki and both of their eyes went wide at the same time, color draining from their faces. Jude saw the panicked look on Yuuki’s face before she felt a hand fall onto her shoulder roughly. She turned her head slowly a weak smile coming to her face when the guy with the laugh came into view.

“What a coincidence,” the stranger said with a huge smile on his face, his bleached hair covered by a black beanie, black square reading glasses over his dark eyes.

“Ruki,” Jude said. Her eyes landed on a figure standing beside her step brother. He was looking at her intently with his arms crossed over his chest, the strap of cloth over his nose there as it always was. She remembered a time when he didn’t wear it. “Reita,” she finished. He didn’t say anything as he continued to look at her. Yuuki quickly slammed the rest of her beer as her eyes scanned over to a confused Jin. Yuuki let out a sigh as she put her empty bottle down on the table. Jin thought that Jude’s drinking was bad before… he was in for it now.

“I don’t get where you’re taking me? You’re taking me somewhere to kill me arn’t you? I mean it wasn’t that big of a deal really Kame. I was trying to do you a favor, but you only got mad at me. I mean even Sho said she was a hoe and that is saying something coming from him. Besides that was weeks ago you still can’t be mad at me,” Tyler said, the words firing rapidly from her mouth as she sat in the passenger seat of Kame’s car. He didn’t respond, just kept driving silently with a small smirk on his lips. It was a smirk that was making Tyler all stages of uneasy.

He started to slow the car down as he pulled into a park. When she stopped his headlights were illuminating an empty basketball court. Tyler looked out the windshield, her hands on the dashboard of his SUV. He had taken her to a basketball court? Why? As she sat there contemplating she heard the door open and looked over. Kame grabbed a ball from the backseat and hopped out of the car, leaving the lights on. He stood in the light and looked in at Tyler.

“This is the only way I could think to apologize to you for me being a dick. Takeo said you liked basketball and I thought a friendly game of one on one would be a good way to apologize to you,” Kame said as he bounced the orange ball against the illuminated blacktop. Tyler smiled to herself before she hopped out of the SUV, shutting the door behind her.

“Don’t cry when I wipe the floor with you okay,” Tyler said with a grin.

“I’ll try to contain myself,” Kame said as he passed her the ball.

“Of all the places in Tokyo you come here. Why? Do you have some radar or something?” Jude asked with a frustrated huff. Her brother showing up was the worst thing that could have happened. If he felt like it he could ruin everything for them.

“I swear it was a complete accident,” Ruki said raising his hands in defeat as he watched Yuuki escape and make her way to the bar.

“You guys should just leave,” Jude hissed as she looked at Ruki and then Reita.

“What are you afraid that we are going to spill your secret?” Ruki asked and Jude quickly shook her head.

“That’s exactly it!”

“We’ll mind our own and keep your stupid secret,” Reita said suddenly, getting the attention of the siblings. He then walked away to an empty booth, sliding in. Ruki just winked before he walked over to join his friend. Jude huffed as she watched them. She wanted to scream and pull her hair out. It would have been wise to leave, but then she didn’t want them to think that it was because of them. She would never hear the end of it from Ruki.

“You know those guys?” Jin asked with surprise in his voice. He knew who they were and he found it amazing that Jude knew them better than he did.

“Old friends,” she said quietly before turning her back to them. “I need a fucking drink.”

Jin stood there watching Jude practically run to the bar. Jude motioned for the bartender and before Jin had time to realize it Jude was taking a shot and then another. By the time he had finally made his way over Jude was on the fourth shot and Jin only knew that the night was going to go downhill from there. He had wanted to hang out with Jude so bad, but if Jude got drunk and started flirting he wasn’t sure what he would do.

********

Takeo smiled to herself as she entered the bustling club, adjusting her woman bits before she headed for the bar. It had been a long time since she had been able to go out in public as a girl and to have her womanhood free of the torture device. Her red heels clanked against the floor of the club as she walked to the bar, a feeling that she never thought she would ever miss. She ran one of her hands through the black hair of the wig she borrowed from Jude, that smile never leaving her rosy lips. She knew that if Yama ever found out about what she was doing he would have her head on a platter. But there was no reason for him to ever find out. Takeo was determined to have her fun.

Takeo motioned for the bartender and ordered an apple martini with extra cherries. Her dark eyes scanned the club and landed on a guy sitting at the end of the bar by himself. His bleached hair was done perfectly, his bangs hanging just at his dark brow. His blue eyes were looking down at his beer, one hand twirling the bottle. He had a distressed look on his face as he let out a small sigh. He was wearing a black button p shirt that hugged him nicely with dark denim jeans that did the same. Takeo had to admit that he was a fine specimen when it came to men and she couldn’t help but go and approach him. Yes, the words Jude had spoken earlier that night were ringing through her head as she made her way over to him, but she didn’t care. Miura was a man and tonight she was a woman. When she sat down in the seat beside him he looked over at her, a smirk finding its way to his face. He stuck his hand out for her and spoke.
“I’m Miura.” Takeo took his hand gently and smiled seductively back at him.

“Eri,” she responded, the smile on her face becoming bigger. The guy had no clue that the sexy woman sitting in front of him was the boy he couldn’t stand. It was almost to sweet.

********

Hiroki laughed as he looked over at Yuuki who had finally given up on her drunken friend and came to sit with him. Every now and then she would pass worried glances over at Jude. It was cute that she cared so much, but he wanted her attention. Besides Yuuki really didn’t have to worry, Jin was watching the drunk girl like a hawk, even though the boy sadly didn’t even realize that it was a girl. Hiroki almost felt sorry for the bastard, but in the end he couldn’t. It was Jin’s stupidity that made it so he couldn’t see that he was actually pinning over a girl. Hiroki could only imagine all the sleepless nights the guy was having.

“What’s so funny?” Yuuki asked him. When he looked back over at her he smiled. She had such a pure and innocent look about her that made him want to go crazy. He usually went for the easy girls but something about Yuuki was different.

“People are funny. The things we don’t see because we are too lazy to look,” Hiroki said smiling at her as she rose her eyebrow at him in question. He really liked it when she did that.

“So do you want to get out of here? We can go back to my place and do something else. We can watch a movie, play pool, whatever,” Hiroki asked. Yuuki looked at him for a moment contemplating what to do. She knew it wasn’t the wisest choice to go back to his place, but she also knew that he wouldn’t make a pass on her. She also wanted to hang out with him more and she did always like the alone time she got with him. Her eyes scanned to Jude who was dancing in the crowd and then back at Hiroki.

“Sure,” Yuuki said with a small smile. She hopped off the stool and quickly followed Hiroki out of the bar. He wanted to grab her hand, but he knew that would give everything away.

********

Jude grasp onto the sides of the toilet before she threw up the contents of the night into the toilet. Her idea of a good night had not included a toilet seat in a public place so close to her face. If her brother and ex-boyfriend showing up hadn’t been enough to make it a bad night, then her throwing up in a public toilet sure made it bad. She just knew the night was not going to go well. She had got the feeling before she even left her apartment. A soft knock came from the door of the stall and she pushed it open with one of her small hands. Jin was standing there with a worried look on his face. If she hadn’t been so fucking drunk she would have thought that he was cute, but she was drunk. His brown hair was hanging in his eyes as he looked down at her. He finally crouched and handed her a can of sprite.

“Drink some of this, it will be good for you,” he said. She took it from him without hesitation and took a sip.

“I’m surprised you didn’t give me water,” Jude said. She had learned during chemo that water was the worst thing when your stomach was upset.

“Water only makes it worse,” He said quietly. “Do you want me to take you home?”

“Yes, but you have to get me out of here without Ruki and Reita seeing me,” Jude said. She knew that if they saw her that they would throw a fit, especially Ruki. Jin just nodded before he turned his back to her. He looked back at her when she didn’t climb on and frowned.

“It will be easier to get you out this way,” Jin said, motioning to his offered back. Jude climbed on slowly and wrapped her arms around his neck. She didn’t worry about her chest touching his back. Her chest was void of breasts anyway so he would never notice.

“You ready?” He asked her and she shook her head before she let it fall to his shoulder. Did he even know where her house was? She was just glad that there wasn’t anything overly girly in the whole place that would give her away, unless Keito left one of her bras laying around again.

********

“You’re losing terribly Kame. I thought you would put up a little bit of a fight,” Tyler laughed as she faked and went around him scoring another point. He let out an angry huff as he watched Tyler laugh at him. He thought that he was good, but Tyler was better and he hated it.

“One more time, you make it and where done,” Kame said, slightly out of breath. Tyler smirked. It was going to be too easy. She made a pass to go around him, but he reached out for her, tripping them both and sending them to the ground. Tyler groaned when she felt something heavy land on top of her and her head knock against the asphalt. She opened her eyes slowly to see Kame staring down at her wide-eyed. He was pressed against her, one of his hands on her chest in an attempt to stop the fall. She went to scramble out from under him, but he kept her pinned.

“What are you doing?” Tyler asked sounding panicked. Kame didn’t respond, but his lips came crashing down on hers harshly. She could tell that there was pent up tension being let out, but she didn’t mind. When he pulled away he had a small smile on his face.

“I guess this changes everything, huh?” Tyler said with a nervous laugh. The girls were going to kill her when they found out Kame knew.

********

Keito flopped down on her bed and let out a sigh as she looked up at her blank ceiling. Now Junno knew that she was a girl. Did that make everything more complicating or easier? She knew that she could count on him to keep the secret, but there were other things that were worrying her mind. Her aura hadn’t been right in weeks and she knew that it was the tension between her and Aiba that was causing it. There was no way that she could tell Aiba that she was a girl, but it seemed necessary that she did tell him. The guy was freaking out because he thought he had kissed another guy.

Then there was the whole factor if she liked him or not. Did she like him more than a friend? When she thought about him she did get that feeling inside, but the cards were telling her differently. And the cards were another problem that she wanted to fit entirely. Whenever she did them and Shun was around the lovers card came up. There was no way that could be true. The guy was afraid of her and thought she was a freak. And she couldn’t stand his narrow-mindedness. Why the hell was she having all this drama in her life? She usually left all that for Takeo and Tyler. They were a soap opera in their own right.

********

Hiroki watched as the light from the television screen danced across Yuuki’s face. She had fallen asleep five minutes into the movie and he didn’t have the heart to wake her up. She had a peaceful look on her face, unguarded. It was the first time that he ever saw that soft of a look on her face. She was always so guarded, even around her friends, but at the moment she was totally without a care.

He grabbed a blanket off the couch and covered her with it. Her blond hair was hanging limply in her face and he couldn’t help but wonder what she looked like with long hair, what she looked like wearing a dress and a little make-up. He leaned closer to her and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. He couldn’t help himself, he had to. She stirred slightly before she went still again. He could have stayed there all night and watched her, but knowing Yuuki if she woke up and saw him there she would freak. He stood from the couch and turned the television off. He took one more look at her before he headed off to his room to spend another night alone.

********

Takeo fell back on the bed with a laugh as she watched Miura pull his shirt off frantically. When he got it off he threw it to the side and advanced toward her. He reached for her dress and helped her tug it over her head, letting it fall to the floor. Miura cupped her face as he kissed her. When he let go she crawled back on the bed, laying down and looking up at him. She watched as he dropped his pants, all evidence that he was ready for her now visible. Takeo couldn’t believe that she was about to have sex with Miura, her nemesis. He crawled over her, one of his hands gently wiping her hair out of her face. She was so glad that the wig was staying in place. He was looking down at her with those blue eyes that seemed to be so full of… appreciation?

“I don’t usually do this,” he said, his voice soft and surprisingly tender. This was a side that she had never seen before and she had to admit that she was enjoying it.

“Neither do I,” Takeo responded as she leaned up and kissed him again. He continued to kiss her as he finally entered her, a small whimper coming from Takeo, it went slow at first, pleasure filling her whole body as small moans escaped her lips. He stared moving faster, pumping harder as they both started to pant. It was like nothing she had ever felt before as he took her closer and closer to her climax. It was supposed to be random sex, but it ended up feeling like so much more. There was so much want and loneliness in it and when her orgasm came, she felt her eyes becoming wet. Miura rolled to the side as he looked up at the ceiling, panting slightly. Takeo sat up and looked over at him. His eyes were closed and a sad look graced his beautiful features. She grabbed for her dress and slipped onto her head as she stood. She slipped into her heels and looked back at him. He was looking at her, a distant look in his blue eyes.

“You don’t have to go,” He said not sounding convincing in the slightest. Takeo smiled at him anyway as she grabbed her red clutch.

“Yes I do. But thank you,” She said before she turned and headed out the door. Miura watched the door as it closed behind the woman he had met in the bar. He had hoped that a random hoop-up would take his mind off a certain someone, but it didn’t work. The whole time he had been thinking about him. He had been thinking about Takeo.

Takeo walked into her room and shut the door behind her before she slid down the door and to the ground. She could feel tears stinging at her eyes as she thought about what she did. She couldn’t get the look he was giving her out of her mind. He looked so lonely, so sad. Then it happened, a tear escaped her eye and she started to cry. What the hell had she done?
