A minute later he arrived with two glasses and placed them in front of them. Then he sat down next to her and put an arm around her shoulders. Yui just smiled and snuggled closer to him.
They had been a couple for a bit less than a month now.
„You know, before i met you in the Konbini i never knew what love was“ he confessed and Yui melted at his words. It sounded just like extracted from the dramas she loved to watch.
„Haruma“ she just said, her voice squealing slightly, uncovering her childish side.
Haruma just laughed at her antics.
„Let's stay happy forever, okay?“ he said, presenting another drama line.
Yui just nodded smiling happily.
„You won't leave me right?“ He continued and his voice sounded a bit bitter.
Worried Yui looked at him, their faces close.
„I won't“ she promised when she saw his face full of pain.
Then she kissed him, hoping to make his pain go away with this.
„I'll got to the bathroom“ she said after a few minutes of kissing, still slightly out of breath.
He just nodded smiling contently.
When she came back, she saw him checking the content of her bag. Surprised she stopped at the door and watched him.
He took out her handy and pressed the buttons, his face getting darker and darker the longer he looked at the display.
Yui bit her lip, not knowing what to do. Then he turned around and looked at her.
„You're back“ he said with a dangerous tone in his voice.
„What's wrong? Did someone call?“ she asked confused and came closer to him, taking a look at the display.
He was checking her list of callers.
„No, i just got curious. You don't mind, do you?“ he asked closing the distance between them.
„You see this?“ he asked and showed her the display.
„The persons which calls i accepted?“ she asked, still confused what this was about.
„The persons most on this list are your „brother“ and your other childhood friend.“ he said sounding slighlty jealous.
Yui just nodded.
„Even though i'm your boyfriend you have more contact to them. You even live with them!“
„It's only natural isn't it?“ she said „They call me sometimes when dinner is ready or things like that“
„And you talk with them for half an hour because of dinner?“ he says sceptically, pointed at a call from Ryo and Yui stayed silent.
„Don't accept their calls anymore“ he instructed leaving Yui rather shocked to receive such an order from her normally gentle boyfriend.
„What are you talking about?“ she said then puzzled.
„You won't accept their calls anymore.“
„You can't decide that!“ she snapped at him. „It doesn't concern you if i take calls from my roomates and talk with them! I live with them! Shouldn't you be more worried about that, than about me taking their calls?“
„Is there a reason to worry? Are you deceiving me?“ he asked, his voice getting louder.
Yui stayed silent for a while. She was thinking of her feelings towards Yuta. She knew she was jeaulous of her girlfriend but that wasn't deceving. But she felt still guilty for having feelings for someone else.
„No“ she finally said unconvincingly.
He gritted his teeth and punched her in the face with his fist hard. She fell backwards, landing on the floor. Her hands went to her face, feeling blood on her lip.
Scared she looked up at him.
„What are you doing?“ she asked the fear noticable in her voice when he came closer. His first kick met her rips and she screamed because of the pain. Not long after, more kicks followed.
When it was over her whole body ached.She was still lying on the floor and he was sitting next to her, not looking at her.
„I'm … going now“ she said nervously, avoiding to look at him too
Tears flowing down her cheeks and stinging in the fresh wound.
„Wait“ Haruma said weakly and tried to reach her, but Yui didn't turn around. She took her bag and almost ran out of the apartment.

„Your disease is already getting worse, isn't it?“ she said then and looked at him, studying his face.
Surprised Ryo looked at her. Was it that obvious that his health was changing? He didn't think so. But she was doctor, so she was most likely to notice something.
His mind was working rapidly, checking out all the options he had. Lying, telling the truth, distracting her. There was no other option he could think of. He knew there was just one way therefore he took a deep breath.
„Yes“ he said then. It was no use to lie anymore. She wouldn't believe him anyway. It seemed like she could sense if he was lying or not.
„Yes it's true. The disease is worsening.“ he repeated. Erika was just staring at him blankly. Clearly knowing that he was telling the truth this time.
„What...What does it mean?“ she asked, obviously scared of the answer.
„In autumn i'll return to Hokkaido. At the beginning of October i'll undergo a surgery. If it succeeds i'm healed.“ he explained looking at the glass of water in his hands instead of her.
„And if not?“ she asked quietly.
Ryo waited a while before he answered. He himself hadn't accepted that possibility properly, but he couldn't keep something from her again.
„I die“ He said finally and lifted his head, looking at her horrified expression.
„See? Thats the reason why i told no one. I didn't want you to worry. I just wanted to disappear again, go trough with the surgery and then if it suceeds come back, but now it's impossible.“ he continued.
„Isn't it better to have support? I know about it now and i'm definitely not going to leave your side. You'll fight you disease properly and win. You'll come back to Nagoya and start your new life here. You just have to believe in that.“ she said gently and sat next to him on the couch, her hand on his shoulder.
„You don't have to go through that alone. Yui, Yuta, Yamapi and I, we are all behind you.“
Ryo looked at her. He felt really comforted by her words, but he still had doubts that it was the right thing to tell her.
When Erika saw his almost lost looking eyes, she did the first thing that came to her mind. She hugged him tightly, her head on his shoulder.
Ryo just closed his eyes and enojoyed the suddedn warmth and the fragrance of Erikas perfume. His hand went to her back and he pulled her a bit closer. They stayed like that for a while, taking comfort in the other's presence until Ryo spoke again.
„I'm scared“ he admitted. „I'm scared of dying.“
He said it that quietly that Erika had trouble to understand it, but she did and when she heard it her eyes started to water, just like Ryo's did.
„I'm too“ she said. „I'm scared to think that you might die. But i'm detemined to think that it'll work out.“ she said und pulled away from the hug to look in his eyes. „Let's think like that, okay? It'll work out. You have to hold on that hope. When it's finally over you're healed. Isn't that something to look forward to?“
They didn't say something for a long time, just looked at each others eyes and the tears that were falling down their faces.
Suddenly Ryo smiled. He reached out his hand and brushed away a tear that was making it's way down her face.
„You're such a crybaby“ he said chuckling and Erika did the same when she heard that.
„look who's talking“ she said and pointed at his face.
They both laughed and the heavy atmosphere disappeared quickly.
„I'm sorry“ he said smiling. „For not telling you earlier.“
„What about the other three? When are you going to tell them?“ she asked smiling as well.
„When the time is right.“ he said.
Suddenly he moved closer to her and his lips brushed against hers, waiting for her to kiss him back. It didn't take her long to react to him and they shared their first real kiss.

Here's the promised second chapter for today. I hope you enjoy it, even though i'm not 100% content with it. I'm crappy at comforting myself, so i think my writing sounds rather lame xD
I didn't want to write the DV scene to graphic, i hope it's okay like that.^^
