„Nervous?“ she asked him briefly after he had thanked her for the drink.
„A bit“ he admitted and Masami smiled.
„Terribly nervous would fit better, don't you think?“ she teased him and Yamapi rolled his eyes at her.
„Is there nothing to do for you?“ he asked pretending to be annoyed by her.
„You're so adorable when you're angry“ she said then and tried to pinch his cheeks, but Yamapi caught her hands before she could reach them.
„And now?“ she asked with raised eyebrows when he didn't let go of her wrists.
„We'll just stay like that for a while.“ he said smirking.
„You know that this looks kind of awkward, don't you?“
„Don't care“ he answered immediately still smirking.
„Are you done soon or should i come back some other time?“ Hiroki said when he came up behind them, rolling his eyes at their behavior.
Yamapi immediately let go of her arms, when he reached them.
„They said Kuroki-san is going to be late, so we don't have to hurry with the preparations.“ Hiroki informed them and Yamapi just nodded.
While teasing Masami he had somehow forgotten about his nervousness, but now it came back. He thanked god for his ability to hide his feelings.
„Don't worry, you'll be great!“ Masami said, seemingly sensing his mood change even though he didn't show it.
„I don't-“ he was about to say but she cut him off.
„Of course not“ she said smirking and walked away.
„Is there something going on between you?“ Hiroki asked his eyebrows raised.
„No, not really.“ he answered and Hiroki just grinned at him.
„You know, i think you two would make a good couple. I think she's eying you for a few months now.“ Hiroki said and earned a smack on the head for it.
„Don't be ridiculous, we're just friends. Nothing more. And she's the same.“ Yamapi said, shaking his head, and went back to checking the equipment, ignoring Hiroki all the way.
„No one listens to me“ he complained loudly and went back to his work as well.
A few hours later the photo shoot was finished and they were packing up their things. It went really well and they were able to make some great photos.
At first Yamapi had been really nervous, but soon he went into „professional mood“ and his nervousness went away like nothing.
Meisa was contented with the photos too, praising Yamapi a lot while stating her opinion on the pictures. Yamapi just thanked her various times, but didn't react any other way to her attempts on flirting.
„I really don't understand why you don't flirt with her. She obviously is interested in you and she is beautiful and successful, but you? You just ignore her. Sure you don't have a thing for Masami?“ Hiroki said when the two of them were alone after Masami went to send Meisa and her manager off.
Yamapi just sighed and didn't answer. He just didn't feel like discussing his love life right now.
„What about your date last time? Did it go well?“ he asked, faking interest and of course Hiroki couldn't resist this chance to talk about one of the best dates he had ever had, saving Yamapi from talking about himself.
After finishing up their work, the three of them decided to celebrate the success in Yui's bar. All the way they had talked about nothing else than the photo shoot.
„You were really great!“ Hiroki said again when they sat down at a table near the entrance.
„You looked so professional! And Meisa did everything you asked her to without questioning anything, even though some of the orders were … kind of weird?“
„But the photos came out great, so it's alright if some of the requests were a bit weird, isn't it?“ Yamapi asked laughing.
The other two agreed, joining in the laughter and just then Yui came to them to take their orders.
Yamapi looked at her surprised. It was the first time he saw her with make up.
„Not going for the natural look today?“ he asked grinning and she just smiled back weakly.
They talked a bit to her, told her about todays photo shoot and then ordered their drinks.
„I'm so tired!“ Hiroki complained and stretched his stiff arms. Masami and Yamapi just smiled at him. He loved to behave like a child at times.
„Maybe next time I'll be the photographer and you two help me“ Masami said smiling, imaging herself in front of a model like Akanishi Jin.
„Never“ Yamapi said smirking and Masami hit him with the menu lightly on the head.
„Hey!“ he complained and rubbed the place where he had been hit.
Masami just laughed at him and a while they continued their playfulness, until they heard a new, kind of aggressive voice.
„Yui, let's talk“ they heard Haruma say and turned around. He was standing next to her, gripping her arm hard.
Yamapi saw the fear in her eyes until it was replaced by stubborness.
„There's nothing to talk about Haruma, leave.“ she said and then added more quietly. „please, Haruma, just leave“
“You don't answer my mails, you don't take my calls, you ignore me. How am I supposed to explain it to you?” he asked using force now to pull her outside.
“There is nothing to explain.” Yui said.
Yamapi saw how Haruma gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. When Yui saw this she flinched a bit and closed her eyes.
Seeing her reaction Yamapi decided to step in and stood up.
Haruma was about to drag her outside when Yamapi took hold of him.
„How about leaving?“ he asked Haruma and released Yui's arm from his grip. „She doesn't want to talk. I think she made it quite clear, so why don't you just accept that and harass someone else?“ he said with artificial friendly eyes.
Haruma looked him in the eyes for a while and then his eyes fell on Hiroki and Masami. Seeing that he was outnumbered, he seemed to accept that he didn't have a choice. He probably didn't want to make a scene here now and with a last look at Yui he left.
Yamapi took a handkerchief out of his pocket and wetted it at the sink behind the counter. Then he took Yui's arm lightly and pulled her outside.
„What are you doing?“ she asked confused, but without resisting his movements. When they were outside he made her lean on the wall and hold her with his hand on her arm.
„Stay still“ he said and wanted to brush her face with the wet handkerchief, but Yui pulled away.
„No“ she said resisting weakly, but it seemed like she knew it was pointless.
Yamapi ignored it and removed the make up with the wet tissue. He stopped in his movements when he had removed the make up on the right side of her face. What he saw made his blood boil.
A blue, violet bruise was decorating her face.
„I knew it was weird that you wear make up“ he said.
She didn't react. She just stayed silent and avoided looking in his eyes.

I hope you liked it ^^ This time a bit YamapixMasami again and Hiroki appeared again. I'm really neglecting him a lot, but well, since he's not really a main character it's alright.
Next chapter We'll see more of the Yamapi - Yui situation and a bit ErikaxRyo i think.
