A while they didn't say anything, both thinking about their own matters. He watched her expression and tried to read from them, but he couldn't tell what she was thinking or feeling. He hated it when he couldn't read others expressions, since he had always been good at it. Masami was one of the few people he knew, whom he couldn't read like an open book.
„What is it?“ she asked when his staring started to freak her out.
„H'm?“ he asked confused, not knowing what she meant.
„You've been staring at me for the last couple of minutes.“
„I did? Sorry i was just trying to read your mood.“ he said truthfully.
„So? Successful?“ she asked with a slightly sarcastic tone.
„What do you think?“ he said smirking.
She pretended to think for a while before she answered confidently.
„No, I'm pretty good at hiding my emotions.“
Yamapi just smiled, without answering if her guess was right.
And again there was a silence between them.
Yamapi used it to take a good look at her again.
He still couldn't read her, but somehow he noticed something else.
Her silky hair and her gesture when she brushed it out of her face. The twinkling of her eyes. Her small nose.
He shook his head slightly, trying to think about something else. He continued studying her face, but when she looked up he turned his gaze away suddenly. He didn't want her to think that he had feelings for her. Especially because he didn't wanto to think of his second best female friend like that at all.
From the corner of his eye he saw Masami looking at him slightly puzzled. Possibly confused by his unusual behaviour. He seldom avoided eye contact with her.
„Let's go, I take you home.“ he said then feeling slightly uncomfortable with the current situation.
„It's alright, I go home by myself. You wouldn't be of any help if i was attacked anyway“ she said teasingly, trying to ease the mood. Yamapi slapped her on the head lightly and laughed.
When he did that he had to think of Yui immediately and quickly pulled his hand back the lauter dying quickly.
„Everything alright?“ Masami asked worried.
Yamapi nodded and said Good Night to her hurriedly.
She stood there and watched Yamapi's retreating back, somehow worried about her best friend.
„He acted really weird tonight“ she thought to herself, but she decided to shrug it off for now.

The whole night Ryo lay awake, thinking about what to do. Was it better to obey the doctor and stay in hospital? Or should he do what he wanted to? He thought about this kind of questions the whole night, until he came to a decision.
After having slept about an hour he went out early the next morning. Yui and Yuta were still asleep then. He didn't want to wake them so he left a note on the table, thinking that Yui got worried too quickly.
„Good Morning“ he said relatively cheerful when he entered the Konbini. The only ones present were Satomi and their boss. Both of them looked surprised when he came in.
„You're not on duty today, are you?“ the chief said with a crunched forehead and Ryo just shook his head and went to the counter, where the boss was standing.
„No, I came because of something else.“ he said, making Satomi and him only more confused. Satomi came to them as well to hear what was going on.
„I quit“ he announced suddenly, with a smile on his face.
A long silence followed before Satomi regained her speaking ability.
„You quit? Why so suddenly?“ Satomi asked, not being able to hide her sad face completely.
Ryo sighed, not sure how to respond.
The chief ignored Satomi completely and nodded disappointed. „Alright. It's a shame, but there's nothing i can do, right?“
Ryo nodded and thanked him and Satomi for their work.
Then he wanted to leave the Konbini, but Satomi caught up with him just in front of the door and caught hold of his arm.
„Wait, why do you quit?“ she asked and he turned around sighing.
„Because of my condition.“ he said truthfully, without going too much into detail.
„Is it that bad already?“ she asked worriedly.
„No, not that, i just don't want to take unnecessary risks.“ he said.
Looking a bit more relieved now, Satomi went on.
„Will you come by from time to time?“ she asked then.
„Sometimes.“ he answered shortly.
„What's wrong with you? You are acting … weird. You treat me like a stranger somehow. Only giving short one word answers instead of your normal 3 minute speeches.“ Satomi complained loudly, attracting the attention of the boss.
„Nothing is wrong. We are friends aren't we? You should know that i have my bad days also.“ he said.
Satomi stayed silent for awhile, pondering whether to say the thing she has wanted to say for a longer time now.
„What if i wanted to be more than friends.“ Satomi said then, putting all her courage together.
Ryo's expression softened and the cold look was gone. But there was pity in his eyes and Satomi knew the answer even before he said it.
„I'm sorry. I already have a girlfriend. And i don't think of you as more than a friend.“ he said then and Satomi bit her lip, trying to keep her tears in.
„I knew you would say that. But i had to try, right?“ she said then, clearly disappointed and sad, even Ryo could tell, but she tried to hide that behind a smile.
„I'm really sorry“
„It's okay, really. Don't worry about it.“
Ryo looked at her for a while with an expressionless face, but then his lips curved into a smile.
„I'll see you then next time, right?“ Ryo said and she nodded, her fake smile still in place, not daring to speak.
He said good-bye and left with a last smile at the chief and then Satomi.
Satomi was left behind and when the glass door closed behind him her smile dropped of her face and a small tear ran down her face. „But i kind of confessed.“ she whispered.

I'm sorry again for the longer wait, i try to update more frequently.
I love making videos recently, so i made a new Trailer again. This time it focuses more on the present not on the past of the three. And this time no voices, just music and clips.
