“I was just comforting her.” Yamapi protested, but Masami didn't want to hear that.
“What's wrong with her that she has to be comforted that way? Stop kidding me.”
She turned again and started walking.
Yamapi stayed back for a few minutes and thought about whether to tell her about Yui's problem or not. In the end he decided not to.
He didn't want to tell others when Yui was so much against it.
If this would destroy Masami's and his relationship it would only show that she didn't trust him enough and that they weren't meant to be together.
“Wait” he called after her and ran to catch up with her.
Masami just shook her head in disbelief.
“Just leave me alone for now, okay? Let's talk tomorrow about it. Shall we get a cup of coffee after work? We can talk then. If you insist on walking me home, do it, but do it quietly. I don't feel like talking right now.” She snapped at him when he wanted to start talking again.
He just nodded and walked beside her until they reached her apartment, thinking about what to tell her the next day.
Without looking back at him she went up the stairs and vanished behind the door.
“Women” Yamapi said and shook his head with a small smile on his face.
He was sure everything would be alright after talking about it tomorrow.

Masami ignored him completely the next day at work. She didn't speak to him or look at him.
Of course Hiroki noticed it.
“Trouble on cloud seven?” he said with a smirk, but Yamapi ignored him.
“Come on, what happened?” he asked, but still there was no reaction.
“Did you...invade her privacy? Did you deceive her with another woman? Did you make a sick joke? Did you-”
“How come you think that it's definitely me that has done something wrong?” he asked, intending to lead him away from the reason.
“Experience. Masami get's angry easily, so it's most likely that you have done something wrong.” he said chuckling and looked at her with a soft smile.
Yamapi studied Hiroki's face with a surprised face.
“You like her.” Yamapi states quietly and feels like banging his head against the wall for not noticing earlier,even though it was that obvious.
“Took you a while to figure out, Sherlock.” Hiroki admitted and avoided looking him in the eyes.
“Sorry. I didn't notice.” Yamapi said.
It surprised him that he hadn't noticed, since normally he would see almost everything that was going on around him in the faces of the people.
Especially when it concerned his friends.
Hiroki just smiled at him and didn't respond to this.
“I dont want it to come between us and I dont want to see you as my rival. That's the reason why I didn't tell you anyhing or point anything out to you.” Hiroki explained and Yamapi just smiled at him.
“I told you about the last time right? About Ai? The girl I wanted to have no matter what? Because of my greed my realtionship with my best friend was destroyed beyond repair. I'll never let a woman get in between me and my friends again.” Hiroki said with determination in his voice.
“Alright. It won't get between us.” Yamapi said with a slight smile.
“You can leave now, i'll finish this alone.” Hiroki said and pointed to the stack of photos they were sorting.
“You sure?” he asked.
“I still have to gain the favor of our boss” Hiroki said smiling and Yamapi just grinned at him before saying goodbye and leaving.
Masami was already waiting for him in front of the exit.
He could see her sigh before turning around to him.
She wasn't smiling and just said “Let's go.”
Yamapi was glad that they would talk about everything now, even though he wasn't sure yet what he should tell her.
He couldn't stand the way their relationship was now.
They went in the direction of a new cafe Masami discovered awhile ago. She said it was quiet and had a nice atmosphere, so it would be easier to talk there.
And that was about the only thing she said.
They went on a narrow road where the cafe was placed.
But suddenly Masami stopped, making Yamapi look up from the ground.
In the middle of the street stood Haruma.
He was glaring at him with cold eyes, before he began to close the distance between them, only to stop about a meter away from him
“Stay away from her.” Haruma said simply, but Yamapi just furrowed his brow, not taking him seriously at all.
“What are you talking about?” he asked as if he didn't know what he meant.
“I saw you. Yesterday. Hugging her suddenly. You have a girlfriend, don't you? So get away from others' girlfriends. She's mine.” Haruma said, rage rising and pointing at Masami.
“She was crying and I was just comforting her.” Yamapi said defensively, but he knew he didn't have any reason to.
“But why should I explain myself in front of you. You're not her boyfriend anymore. She's not your possession. You hurt her badly so just get away from her. Why do you even want her so badly?”
Haruma looked at him with wide eyes, he hadn't expected him to be cocky.
“I love her and she loves me, even though she told me something different.”
“That's not love! Do you normally hit a person you love? Don't you wish the person you love happiness? Normally you would do your best to not upset the person you love. But what are you doing? Following her around, Monitoring her, all these things only upset and frighten her. If you don't trust her enough to live with two guys you should just give up. Love is also about trust!”
The last words seemed to struck Masami. Her eyes widened and she thought about her way of treating Yamapi. It was definitely true what he said, so how could she doubt his faithfulness? Did it mean she didn't really love him?
She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard Haruma's temper exploding.
“YOU HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT MY FEELINGS FOR HER. THEY ARE SINCERE! YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND!”
Yamapi was just about to answer when Haruma took something out of his pocket.
His eyes widened when he looked at the sharp blade of the knife that was pointed towards him.
“Hey, Hey...Calm down! This is not going to help at all. Lets...Let's talk.”
Masami had grabbed his hand and he could feel her shivering in fear.
He pressed her hand a bit to show that he was with her.
Both were sure he had totally lost his mind and they wouldn't put it past him to actually attack them.
Haruma only shook his head. Words couldn't express his feelings anymore. He ran towards them and Yamapi only found the time to shove her behind him, moving out of the way was impossible.
The next thing he felt was an intense pain on his stomach and the warmth of blood flowing downwards.
“Yamapi!” Masami cried and caught him when he was about to fall. He was too heavy for her, but she could break his fall.
He still heard sirenes, Masami calling for an ambulance, shocked screams, but he couldn't see it clearly. The world around him became more and more blurry until it all faded to black and he could hear no more and feel no more pain.

too dramatic? Somehow i really love dramatic parts, so please bear with me xD

Somehow i'm not sure anymore about who shall end up with whom. especially yui. I want it to be either:
YamapixYui and YutaxNana (maybe MasamixHiroki)
or:
YamapixMasami and YutaxYui
I have scenarios for both in my head, but i can't decide. What do you think?
