Linda sat in her room and kept thinking what she had heard that night.
*Flashback*
Person: I'm just sorry. Linda listen to me, don't keep everything to yourself ok? When you feel upset and want to share it, tell me. I'll always be here with you. Will you accept me for being your doll? Hit me when you're mad and use my shoulder if you're upset. Share everything with me?
Will you accept me?
*End flashback*
Linda's POV
Should I accept him? Do I like him? I never knew that he have feelings for me. Is he telling the truth? Would he actually sit with me and go through the downfall with me? Would he be here when I'm happy?
End of Linda's POV
*Ring, Ring*
Linda reach over and shut her alarm.
Linda: *sigh* Is time for school already? Maybe I should call in sick. I don't want to see him, cause I don't know what to say. But then I can't just stay away from him forever. The study group is tonight too.
Bernice [shocked-yelling]: Wheres the breakfast? Linda you're not up at?
Tavia: Whoa, Linda didn't make breakfast today? Is she okay?
Bernice: I don't know, lets go check.
Before they reach the door, Linda open the door and just stare at them.
Tav: Are you ok? You came late last night too.
Linda: I'm fine. Jeezz, can you guys make your own breakfast for once? Why do I have to do everything? I have enough problems already. [she said all that in a annoyed mood]
Bernice [whispered to Tavia] Is she ok? I never seen her like this? I was just shocked and joking about the breakfast thing.
Tav: Something is wrong.
In class
Ron: Umm.. is she okay? She didn't say a word to us, she just stares at us with those eyes. Its creepy.
Tavia: When she woke up this morning she was like this. I'm worry. She came home really late last night too.
Bernice: I hope everything is alright.
*ring ring*
The class had ended. They didn't know, but Linda heard every word.
Linda: If you guys really like talking behind peoples backs, then I won't do anything. But don't do it when they are listening. I heard every word.
Tavia: Linda, we are worry. Are you alright? We never seen you like this before. What happen to that happy Linda, even when shes mad?
Linda: Well, now you all seen the other side of me.
With that she left. That night, Linda went back to that park after she visited her mom from the hospital.
Linda: *sigh* Why was I so mean today? How am I going to apologies to them.
Person [walking up to Linda]: Just tell them, they'll understand.
Linda [looks up]: How do you know that I'm here? can you please leave. I want to be alone.
Person: I told you, I'll spend every unhappy moment with you. Will you accept me? Let me be your doll, hit me when you're mad, use my shoulder when you're up set, laugh with me when you're happy. I'm willing to do everything for you.
Linda: You actually going to be with me and help me go through all these burdens? Be with me forever? Love me and cherish me?
Person: Yes, Linda. I always had feelings for you. I don't want to see you upset. I want to see that happy Linda again.
Linda [*hugs him*]: Oh thank you. Thank you Ray.
Ray: I'll be here with you. If you're upset tell me. Whats on your mind.
Linda hesitate : I...... I .... don't know how to start this.....
Ray: If you don't want to tell me then don't. Wait till you're ready. I'll sit here and listen. Even the story is really really boring and random.
Linda [laughs] : Thanks Ray for cheering me. I'll tell you now, but please don' t tell them yet.
Ray nods. Linda tells him her story.
