“I’m off to school!” I declared to my parents as I ran down the stairs and to the entrance door.
“Take care, sweetie!” eomma called out from the kitchen.
“Be careful!” appa called after eomma without looking.
“I WILL!” I shouted since I closed the door behind me.
It was the last 2 weeks of school and it was nearing our graduation. After graduation, I will be in the college of my choice.
As I was walking towards school, my friends trailed behind me giggling and all.
“Guys, come on! You all know that with you giggling, you can’t sneak up on me…” I declared as I stopped and faced them.
“We know…” my friends replied in unison.
“We weren’t going to sneak up on you, Hye Jin ah…” Seo Hye answered.
“Right~” I replied.
“It’s true! If we were to do that then giggling will be a dead giveaway…” Yun Hye pointed out.
“Fine fine!” I replied giving up.
We reached the school grounds early and decided to go to our respective classes. Seo Hye and Min Ae are classmates while Yun Hye and I are classmates. We’ve been stuck with each other since elementary and it was only in our 4th year that we were divided into two. Though we were divided, it didn’t stop us from being together during lunch time and departure time. We would always go home together since we live a few blocks from one another.

3RD person’s POV
Classes came and went and before Hye Jin knew it, it was already departure time. Hye Jin and her friends went home together. When all four of them reached a fork on the road, they all went their separate ways.
Hye Jin was on her way home when a van skidded and stopped behind her. She looked behind her and before she knew it, she was shot near the heart. Hye Jin’s bag flew from her hand. When she fell, her phone dropped somewhere near her. Hye Jin looked at the person who shot her and saw a surprised look on his face.
“SHIT!” he cursed. “Dude, you got the wrong person… THAT IS NOT HER!” he continued.
Hye Jin was breathing hard.
“Let’s go! HURRY!!!” the guy panicked.
