I was on the way to my girlfriend’s house when I heard a gunshot near the vicinity. I ran by the neighbourhood and hid myself from the shooter’s view. I saw what the shooter looked like and I looked at their victim. I was surprised to see a girl down bleeding. I heard the shooter curse and complain that they got the wrong girl then they quickly left. I then ran to the girl’s side and saw that she held her phone and dialled something on it. She was looking at me with tears in her eyes. She held out her phone to me, I took it and pressed on the ‘call’ button.
“Hang on!” I told the girl as I waited for someone to answer on the other line.
She was breathing hard and I can tell that the bullet passed by an area in one of her lungs as well as near her heart. When someone answered on the other line, I talked to that person and requested for an ambulance to proceed to our location. I also told the person what happened and then clicked the ‘end’ button of the phone.
“DON’T YOU DARE CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!” I shouted at her when I saw her eyes starting to close.
I can tell that the girl is trying her best to keep herself awake. I brought out my handkerchief and placed it in the area where she was shot. I looked at her eyes and there is fear, pain as well as shock at the same time I can see tears flowing from her eyes.
“DAMMIT! Where is that ambulance!” I cursed as I checked my watch and saw that 5 minutes passed by from the time I called up the hospital.
I can still hear her breathing and I find it surprising that she is holding on as long as she can.
“What is your name?” I asked the girl.
She just looked at me and pointed at the phone that is lying beside me. I took the phone and looked at it front and back. It was at the back of the phone where I saw her name: Hye Jin.
“It’s okay, Hye Jin… the ambulance is coming…” I comforted her as I heard sirens coming from a distance.

3RD person’s POV
As Junsu spoke to Hye Jin comforting words and all, the ambulance arrived and the paramedics began their work on Hye Jin.
“Sir, I need you to come with us since I’m sure the doctor will need someone to talk to…” a paramedic asked of Junsu.
“I can’t… I just happened to pass by this area when I saw her…” Junsu answered.
“But do you know if she has relatives or something?” the same paramedic asked.
“How should I know?!” Junsu snapped.
Hye Jin looked at Junsu as she was carried to the ambulance and Junsu looked at her as well. Hye Jin raised her right arm towards Junsu and before Junsu knew it, he ignored the paramedic and went inside the ambulance. The same paramedic looked shocked by Junsu’s actions and thought that Junsu was a weirdo but just set it aside. The paramedic then entered the ambulance and closed the doors. After closing the doors, the ambulance made its way to the hospital.
