’’Umma, umma please can i have this?’’ A 5-year old Min Young asked her mother holding up a microphone and a tape recorder, the tape recorder is for the music to come out.
‘’Min Young-ah you got play doh dough last week and you haven’t even touched it yet’’ Her mom said taking the package that Min Young was holding.
‘’But mom, please just this one and I promise to use it. I’ll become the biggest star in the world, you will see’’ the young Min Young pouted and her mom finally gave in.
‘’Yes, thank you umma’’ Min Young said and gave her mother a hug before taking the package from her mother hands.
‘’Min Young-ah are you going to pay for that?’’ Her mother asked amused by her daughter’s cute behavior.
‘’Ehm…no’’ Min Young said and gave the package back to her mother who chuckled.
‘’So what do you want to do now?’’ Her mother asked while they exited the shop.
‘’Ice cream, ice cream’’ Min Young cried
‘’Okay, which flavor do you want?’’
‘’Chocolate’’ She said with a pout
‘’Here you go, be careful and don’t spill on your dress honey’’
‘’Nee umma’’
She took a bit off the ice cream and made a weird face because it was so cold. And her mother burst out in laughter.
‘’Not funny''
‘’I’m sorry dear, do you want to go home. Your dad is probably waiting for us’’ Min Young’s mom said and stood up.

‘’Hi’’ Both her parents said before kissing each other
‘’Yuck, do that somewhere else while you’’ Min Young said sticking out her tongue in disgust.
‘’Well isn’t it my little sweetheart’’ Her father said and picked her up in a hug.
‘’I want you to meet someone’’ Her father said before putting her down again.
‘’Who?’’ Min Young asked excited
‘’This is Lee Hana, one off my co-workers daughter and they are also from Korea’’
‘’Hi’’ She said and the other girl said the same.
‘’Do you want to be friends?’’ She asked Hana before unwrapping the thing her mom and her bought today at the toy store.
‘’Okay’’ The other girl said with a smile
‘’Come we can go in to my room and I will sing and dance for you’’ Min Young said and hooked her arm in Hana’s

3 Years later
‘’MiMi I’m going to Korea tomorrow, do you want anything?’’ Hana asked her with a smile on her lips.
‘’What are you leaving me here’’ Min Young pouted
‘’Yah! MiMi it’s only for two weeks pabo’’
‘’Ahh’’
‘’What did you think I would leave you here and never come back?’’ Hana asked laughing.
‘’Hehe, sorry’’
‘’So did you want anything?’’
‘’Aniyo, just come home safe. Araso’’ She said and gave her best friend a smile. Yes they where best friends now, they where even going in the same class.
‘’Mom I miss Hana’’ Min Young complained as she slumped down on the sofa bored to death.
‘’Min Young-ah she have only been gone for two days. Can’t you find someone else to play with?’’ Her mother asked.
‘’No, I’m going out’’ She said and made her way to the door.
‘’Have you done your homework?’’
‘’Yes’’ Min Young shouted before closing the door, but in fact she hadn’t done her homework. She wanted to dance not sit at home doing boring school stuff.
‘’Hmm where should I go, ahh the park. That’s perfect’’ she said to herself

2 hours later
‘’Ah I’m all tired, better go home before mom gets worried’’
‘’Mom I’m home’’ She said as she opened the door and seconds later her mom came out with some papers in her hands.
‘’Oh shit please don’t tell me she found my homework’s’’ Min Young thought and she had right, her mom showed her the papers that wasn’t even touched.
‘’Min Young-ah I’m really disappointed in you, haven’t I told you numerous times that school is important’’
‘’Nee umma’’ She said with her head hanging low
‘’Then why don’t you do your homework’s?’’
‘’Because it’s boring’’
‘’I know that school may not always be as fun but you have to. It’s for your future.’’
‘’I know’’
‘’Then why don’t we make a deal, we can pay for dance and singing classes if you promise to handle school and your homework’s. How does that sound?’’ Her mother asked.
‘’Do you really mean it?’’ Min Young asked not believing what her umma just told her.
‘’Yes I promise’’ Her mother said and hugged her.
‘’Oh, thank you umma’’
The weeks passed and Hana had come home again and her singing and dancing classes went really well, she loved it. And school went much smoother than before.
‘’MiMi here I have something for you’’ Hana said and Min Young could see Hana pick something out from her backpack.
‘’Here, there are two CD’s, one with H.O.T. and one with N.R.G. They are Korean groups, I think you will like them. Hana said smiling and Min Young gave her best friend a hug as thanks for the presents.
‘’I’ll put on one now and then I can show you some new dance steps I learned’’ Min Young said while making her way to the CD player with the H.O.T. CD in her hands. She put it in and pressed play.
‘’Woah this song is really good’’ She said and started to dance with the music while Hana was watching in awe.
‘’MiMi you are a great dancer’’ Hana said and clapped her hands.
‘’Haha don’t flatter me’’ Min Young said and blushed
‘’HAHA MiMi you’re as red as a tomato’’ Hana said and threw a pillow towards Min Young who stopped dancing and went to get a pillow and they pretended that the pillows were deadly swords.
After 30 minutes both collapsed laughing on the bed exhausted off all playing.
‘’Best friends?’’
‘’Best friends forever’’ Min Young said and playfully hit Hana’s arm.
‘’Yah! Do you want some more’’ Hana laughed
